• I'm a Plant - In case you somehow missed the obvious, Zyra Yateveo is a man-eating plant. In J. W. Buel's, Sea and Land (1887),the Yateveo plant is described as being native to Africa and Central America, so named for producing a hissing sound similar to the Spanish phrase "ya-te-veo" (lit. "I-see-you"), and having poisonous "spines" that resemble "many huge serpents in an angry discussion, occasionally darting from side to side as if striking at an imaginary foe" which seize and pierce any creature coming within reach.
• Insatiable Passions - Zyra is a being of passion, first and foremost. While these passions might change, expect her to be rather primal and based in raw natural instinct for awhile. Acquiring Food, Sex and Power are high among her interests. She hasn't learned to be very artistic yet and is still fighting for her survival.
• Leech of Life - It's not that Zyra is lazy per se, but when the Wyld is backed against the wall, deadlier and fiercer creatures soon arise. Zyra is quite parasitic as a plant, not because she is evil or even recognizes her behavior as harmful, but rather this is survival of the fittest. Expect her to mooch and spread as much as possible. She is like Kudzu when left untamed.
• Phagomania & Special Diet - This is a mental derangement. Zyra wants food, all the time. Even when she's not hungry. While she can eat regular food, she gains no sustenance from it. Zyra needs to occasionally consume: Blood, Human Flesh, or Children/Adults to survive. (Most of this consumption happens off camera. Zyra is not looking to eat your character. Think of her like the Redcap of Gorgon's. Some of the people that she eats, makes the world a safer place because of it.)
• Sunbathing and Clothes - Zyra still conducts photosynthesis and must sun bath 4-6 hours a day. She can also do this at night using artificial grow lights. However, expect this to be a plot hook, with Zyra showing up in random places to get her shine on. Zyra can photosynthesize in her various forms. Also, plants don't normally wear clothing. Zyra sometimes goes about things naked, but expect a level of game decency and leaf armor/clothes in place.
• Forms and Skinshifting - While Zyra doesn't have mechanically set forms like the shifters do, she can certainly transform like them. I envision Zyra having four base forms to switch between - and this is noted here so that players get an idea of what her appearance might be like.
• (Homid) - As human as she can get.
• (Plant 42) - A mixture of plant and human shapes, very leafy.
• (Audrey II) - Her plant Crinos, basically her Little Shop of Horrors form.
• (Undergrowth) - As plant like as possible; living grass, vines and roots.
