- Calvin grew up as a bear in the Seattle Zoo. He was horridly mistreated, which is what caused his First Change. Like most Gurahl, however, he spends a lot of his time in human form. He's become very good at blending in.
- Uzmati
- He is a protector, and a warrior. He's in the battle stage of the Gurahl life, though he is no blood-thirsty killer. He loves the thrill of battle, but will only pursue it if it is to help others.
