SINGLES MATCH - Tournament Qualifier
Luke Jackson Vs Calib Wallace
Calib Wallace is somebody we haven't seen for a few weeks but now is his shot at the championship tournament but the kicker is he has to get through Luke "The Kid" Jackson who's been on quite a roll. He had an impressive showing at US#1, defeated Matt Ward at US#2, and made a fool of Matt Ward at US#3 which led to a Dog Collar match challenge for Best of the Best, provided Jackson doesn't advance all the way through the tournament. So now it brings the question, how will Calib handle the speed and agility of Jackson, and will both men be a little weary of Matt Ward possibly lingering around?
SINGLES MATCH - Tournament Qualifier
Chris Compact Vs Davis Wiley
We didn't see Davis Wiley last week but in the first two Unstoppable's he's had quite the impression. He returns to the ring against Chris Compact, who we haven't seen in a while. Will he let Davis steamroll him or will Compact decide that this is his opportunity of a lifetime?
SINGLES MATCH - Tournament Qualifier
Tyson Pride Vs Lance Peterson
Tyson Pride was originally scheduled to go against Scotty Addams but the unfortunate event occurred that Scotty couldn't make this Unstoppable however another brand new signee Lance Peterson gets to benefit from this and take on Tyson Pride for his chance at the Best of the Best Championship Tournament.
SINGLES MATCH - Tournament Qualifier
Shawn Roberts Vs Demetrius Burrell
---
SINGLES MATCH - Tournament Qualifier
Mr. Kamara Vs Bryan York
Bryan York is a new talent and we've seen Mr. Kamara with Chris Compact before but now is his chance to go on his own. Will Bryan York get the upset or will Kamara dominate?
SINGLES CONTEST - Tournament Qualifier
Dylan Thomas Vs Jorge Santos
---
WOMEN OF TRADITION TRIPLE THREAT CONTEST
Kim Pain Vs Marie Porter Vs Autumn Raven
After last weeks Tag Team match, Aquila Vox was taken by local medical personal to be checked on after the brutal beat down by the two number one contenders. Aquila suffered a concussion and will be out of action for a while but who can forget the face to face confrontation by Marie? Well Danny Stevenson has given those three ladies the night off and we get to see the return of Autumn Raven, as she takes on Women's wrestling veteran, Kim Pain, and Marie Porter gets herself another shot to prove herself after not getting in on the action two weeks ago... for better or worse. And this is why the MSW Women Of Tradition rock it because we've got another epic triple threat on our hands. Who will leave victorious?
SINGLES CONTEST - Tournament Qualifier
Peyton Von Licht Vs Tyler Xero
The original thought was Peyton wasn't going to be able to make it but things changed quickly. This also came with the news that Mark Brooks and Miss Michelle would be parting ways with MSW, Peyton was glad to resume his spot in the championship tournament, taking on new signee Tyler Xero.
MAIN EVENT: Tournament Qualifier
Drew Stevenson Vs Bryce Manning
Intro
Bradford: WELCOME LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, TO MISSOURI STATE WRESTLING AND WELCOME... TO UNSTOPPABLE!
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=my_6ueHdWO4
Smith: Absolutly history making, Bradford, and Im stoked to be part of it. There's a lot going on tonight and I can't even begin to describe how excited I am. Luke Jackson is in action against Calib Wallace, Kim Pain debuts, Autumn Raven returns and Maire Porter gets her chance at redemption for last Unstoppable. Kat and Shawna Martinez are in the house tonight, not to mention the explosive main event as two arch enemies collide one more time as "The Architect" Bryce Manning goes head to head with Drew Stevenson in what should be an explosive battle.
Bradford: Absolutely, and who can forget we have some debuts tonight, as well. Mister Kamara makes his in ring debut, and we haven't seen him since Unstoppable #1 with Chris Compact. Peyton Von Licht returns after much speculation that he was going to be out for a while with some personal things but he's back and ready to kick some butt. And of course, Davis Wiley is in action, along with the debut of a man I'm excited for, Lance Peterson. It's going to be a good night, Smith, I can feel it. You know when you get those feelings that go straight down to the bone? Yeah I got that right about now. You could probably call it a raging clue.
Smith: I don't think that's appropriate, Bradford.
Bradford: It is what it is. But ya know what, Smith?
Smith: What's that?
Bradford: LET'S GET IT AWN!
Luke Jackson Vs Calib Wallace
Bradford: Now that's a guy who's underrated!
Smith: Calib Wallace has talent, that's for sure but he's got his work cut out for him tonight because he's facing a smaller, faster and more agile opponent in Luke Jackson; who's actually been on quite the roll here as of late.
Bradford: He's got more than just 'talent' - Calib Wallace is a future MSW champion, I'm calling it right now. I mean how can you say he's not the most underrated guy? He's so underrated he hardly gets to even make it on the shows!
Smith: It's obviously because of the tournament, though, or are you not paying attention? Yeah I know he spoke out being upset but that seems to be the 'go-to' since the Summer of Punk 2. Maybe if he quit whining and actually did something about it, Danny Stevenson would be more inclined to give him as much time on the show as say somebody like Luke Jackson.
Bradford: That's insulting.
Smith: It's truth, I don't know what's insulting about it. Drew Stevenson lets you go to the Emerald Academy to train and get better but you pout. You go on twitter and you pout. You cut a promo and you pout. If he wants to prove himself to be as good as he says than he can start by beating Luke Jackson here tonight. MSW is where the best of the best talent come to compete in the heart of the independents and if it's too hot, get out of the kitchen.
Bradford: Well lets just see how good this "Kid" is against Calib Wallace.
The sounds of "It's Time" by Imagine Dragons hits to the roof blowing off with cheers as Luke Jackson comes running out to the center of the stage. He points to the ring and with a nod of his head he rushes down and slides in. Calib tries to get a jump on him and the bell sounds.
Bradford: And that's why Calib is my boy! He's not wasting any time!
The kicks had only worked temporarily, though, as Luke was able to use his speed to swerve around a stomp, rolling out of the way which has caught Calib off guard. Luke Jackson was quick to his feet and hitting the ropes, assuming control pretty quick. It was without question that Luke was the fastest guy in MSW and he used that speed to his advantage. As he came speeding off of the ropes, Calib managed to catch him with a hip toss, sitting out with it and rolling over for a quick pin but only a two.
Bradford: Look at that Smith, Underrated! He took down speedy with a great technical move!
Smith: I never denied he didn't have talent, but so does Luke Jackson and they're both displaying it well.
Bradford: Uh huh, changing your story now I see.
Jackson kicked out with force and was quick to get to his kness and meet Wallace with a quick dropkick as he is getting up and Luke goes for a quick cover but also only a two. After Calib kicks out he rolls out of the ring throwing his hands towards the ring as if he were to walk out, and is talking trash.
Smith: And that's what I'm talking about. As soon as he falls behind for just a moment he tries to just give up but... AIR KID! AIR KID! LUKE JACKSON JUST LEAPED OVER THE TOP ROPE WITH A HUGE TOPE CONHILO!
Bradford: Now that's just not fair!
Smith: How is it not fair? Wallace was trying to run away!
Bradford: It just isn't, Smith. Do you have to question everything!?
Luke did indeed leap over the top with a full head of steam and the crowd loved it as the count-out began. Reaching the count of about five, Jackson was able to get Calib up and into the ring and followed in for a cover but another kick out at nearly three.
Bradford: Yes! Wallace lives! I told you all along, Smith, this was just part of his master plan to win.
Smith: Uh.. yeah.
With his kickout, he managed to get Jackson into a position where Wallace could grab his <Jackson's> leg and turned it over into a single leg crab, wrenching in the submission. The referee got into place to see if Jackson was going to tap but his resiliancy got him to the ropes.
Bradford: Jackson should be disqualified if you ask me.
Smith: On what grounds? Getting a rope break?
Bradford: For clearly disregarding the rules!
The rope break was called, but Wallace wasn't wanting to let go until he was pulled off.
Wallace embranced the hate as Jackson slowly made his way to his feet, favoring the knee and using the ropes to get up. When Wallace's cocky grin went away as soon as he turned around he tried to wipe out Jackson's leg at the knee again but he jumped over the kick, springboarded off of the middle rope and caught Wallace under the chin with a kick the knocked him down and stunned. Jackson realizing this had stopped and looked around at the crowd who were erupting. Jackson ran to the nearby corner and with a big leap off the top and a huge 450 Splash he connects and covers.
Smith: THE OAKLAND SPLASH! THIS COULD BE IT!
Bradford: No! Come on Calib! Kick out! Kick out!
Barbara Brahman: Your winner and advancing into the championship tournament... Luuuuke "The Kid" Jaaaaccckkkssooonnn
Bradford: Just a few weeks ago he issued the challenge for the dog collar match at Best of the Best but he hasn't got an answer yet. So my bet is Luke hasn't answered because, unfortunately, he keeps advancing. So why would he risk taking two big matches at Best of the Best.. or possibly face injury from Matt Ward and leave us without a contender and making this entire tournament worthless? The problem is, is that Matt Ward doesn't seem like he wants to wait.
Smith: I think for once you're actually starting to make some sense. Well with Luke Jackson advancing and things heating up between he and Matt Ward, I'm getting word that Robert Fields is standing by with the abnormal, Johnny B..
Bonecrushed Right Into Your Homes
Right after that match, the scene switches to the backstage area where a mildly irritated Robert Fields is standing next to relative newcomer to the MSW and habitual bastard poseur Johnny B., who's glaring at the veteran interviewer.
Robert Fields: "Folks, I'm standing next to... *sigh* Johnny B.."
Johnny gives Robert the stink-eye.
Johnny B.: "Frields, you better act more excited when you're standing next to the Pre-Millenium Wrestler up in hyah!"
Robert gives Johnny a scornful glare, but shakes it off moments later.
Robert Fields: "Tonight, you've been given the night off, as well as everyone else who participated at the last Unstoppable. Johnny, why are you even here?"
Johnny stares at Robert as he walks off-screen. Moments later he rushes back into view, jumping into the scene and directly in front of the camera. You can barely see Robert anymore, and Johnny hasn't bothered to turn around.
Johnny B.: "Let me make one thing perfectly clear: The Johnny's welcome wherever he goes, son!"
He looks over his shoulder to look at the camera. He jumps and spins to face the camera, pointing right at it.
Johnny B.: "Sneaking up on me, huh? The Johnny ain't been born yesterday, trick!"
At this futility, Robert shakes his head and begins to leave. Johnny laughs and stops him from leaving.
Johnny B.: "Okay, okay, okay, sourpuss, I'm heeeere because The Johnny wants the fans to know: he ain't sittin' at home playing Xstation and Twittering and doing interviews for Radio Dizzlenee. He's here checking out the rest of the tournament and see what the rest of the winners're gonna look like. Well... hehe, winners now... losers later... if they have the displeasure of crossing the path of one Johnny B.... esquire."
Robert Fields: "Wait a minute, Johnny, before you get too ahead of yourself, you do have to get past St. Tuck at Unstoppable V."
Johnny rolls his eyes.
Johnny B.: "Frields, I'm past him! I've seen the future, son, and it's rainin' Johnnys all up in MSW! Huh? Yeah?"
He turns to look at someone who slowly comes into view. It's a fan wearing a bootlegged MSW tee.
"Fan": "H-hi, wow, I can't believe it's you!"
Johnny cockily waggles his head.
Johnny B.: "Yeah, well, it's me. I'm guessing you want an autograph, huh?"
The fan's eyes light up as he pushes the pad of paper and marker towards Johnny. Johnny signs the pad, grinning smugly at Robert who just looks disinterested. He hands back the pad the the grateful fan.
"Fan": "Oh my God, thanks so much!"
Johnny pats the "fan" on the head and sends him on his way. The fan takes a few steps, but as he admires the autograph, he stops.
"Fan": "Hey! What the Hell is this?"
Johnny looks confused.
Johnny B.: "Whatya mean? That's my real-ass John Hand-Cock!"
The "fan" scraps the paper with the signature and tosses it at Johnny.
"Fan": "I thought you were that guy from Aqua! Who the Hell's Johnny B. anyway?!"
Johnny's eyes widen, and he acts like he's going to chase the "fan" away, who promptly runs for his life. Meanwhile, Robert begins to giggle. Johnny whips around to point at him.
Johnny B.: "Don't even say nothin'!"
Robert turns away so that Johnny can't see him losing it.
Johnny B.: "And his name's René, you triflin'-ass bitches! Johnny B.! What!!"
After looking at Robert like he wants to beat him down for laughing, he just throws up his hands and storms off.
Davis Wiley Vs Chris Compact
Robert Fields: Ladies and Gentlemen that was Johnny B., back to you on commentary!
We then cut back to ringside with Bradford and Smith as Wiley and Compact are already in the ring
Bradford: That guy is nuts! How did he even make it past talent relations? Drew you’re slacking!
Smith laughs next to his broadcast partner.
Smith: He certainly is a wildcard but what matters is what he can do in between those ropes in the middle of that ring. Speaking of in ring action we’re back with our second match of the night as Davis Wiley and Chris Compact are already in the ring.
Bradford: Compact is Napoleon Incarnate if you ask me. A small guy with a big attitude, small and in charge.
Smith: Normally Mr. Kamara is at ringside with Chris Compact but having a match of his own later in the night he’s in the back preparing. Without that looming threat at ringside we should have a fair contest.
Bradford: Fair? Look at how big Davis Wiley is! If size alone was the deciding factor this match wouldn’t be “fair” at all. Mr. Kamara kept the big bullies in check so Chris Compact could just focus on the task at hand.
Smith: Good grief Bradford you remind me of my old broadcast partner at times with your slanted view of reality.
Bradford: Somebody has to keep this fair and balanced and it’s certainly not Fox News or you.
The bell rings as both men square off. Compact dares Wiley to lock up with him in a test of strength shouting and screaming at his face as Wiley smiles a little almost if he isn’t sure he’s serious. Finally Wiley agrees and engages in a test of strength. Compact starts to get a slight edge as he grins ear to ear before Wiley quickly turns the tables and applies more pressure than compact, using his size to his advantage before releasing his grip and hitting a belly to belly suplex. Compact writhes in pain as he quickly gets back up to his feet. Compact tries to throw a flurry of kicks as Davis Wiley who guards them at each turn, showing surprising quickness for a man his size. Compact tries to shoot a swift kick to the head of Wiley to catch him off guard but Wiley catches it! Wiley quickly spins him around and hits him with a European uppercut to the back of the head.
Smith: This match is going to be over in a hurry at this rate, Davis Wiley is fully in control!
Bradford: He’s bullying the poor guy Smith! He wouldn’t feel brave enough to do this if Mr. Kamara was around!
Smith: In this business one of the biggest mistakes you can make is biting off more than you can chew. There are plenty of talented guys big or small that have stepped into this ring but he thinks he’s already better than all of them without having to prove himself. So far it looks like he has a lot to learn.
Bradford: And you say I have a distorted view of reality…
Wiley plays to the crowd as Compact struggles to get back to his feet. Noticing that Compact is still dazed from the impact he quickly grabs him by the head as he lifts him up for The Witch Doctor’s Curse, slamming him straight into the turnbuckle as he then goes to pull him away from the ropes for the pin.
Two!
Three!
Barbara Braman: Here is your winner, Davis Wiley!
Bradford: A big victory by Davis Wiley, advancing to the tournament to crown the first champion!
Smith: And we've got big news folks! We've been talking about Best of the Best but the date is official! Right here in just six weeks on May 7th we will have a special live edition special of Unstoppable entitled Best of the Best! And Davis Wiley might just be one of the finalists in that championship match!
Tyson Pride Vs Lance Peterson
Returning from the break, both competitors in the ring with the referee signaling for the bell to get the match underway. Pride wastes no time and rushes in beginning to throw a flurry of punches right at Peterson which drives him back into the turnbuckle. Continuing to throw the stiff shots, Pride looks like a madman with the intensity that he is bringing to the match.
Smith: Pride is a very aggressive man!
Bradford: No, really?!
After the third or so punch, Peterson blocks it and quickly hits a spinning belly to belly suplex taking Pride down with authority. Quickly applying an arm bar after the suplex, Pride grits his teeth and manages to crawl his way to the ropes where he drapes his left foot over the bottom rope as Peterson releases the arm bar.
Smith: Fantastic technical wrestling there by Peterson.
Quickly keeping on Pride, he yanks him up to his feet but is met with a stiff right hand to the jaw which rocks him back. Grabbing Peterson from behind, Pride hits a backdrop and then quickly gets to his feet stomping on Peterson repeatedly. Screaming at Peterson, he goes to stomp on him again but Peterson manages to catch his foot and applies an ankle lock as Pride tries hopping to the ropes but is tripped by the very intelligent Peterson who has the hold locked on tight.
Smith: This Peterson sure is smart, he is looking to make Pride tap here.
Bradford: Good luck with that! I heard that Pride once killed a Bear with his bare hands.
Smith: Oh good Lord, that’s not the truth and you know it.
Bradford: Do I really know that?
Smith: Yes, I think you do!
Having managed to get crawl to the ropes, Peterson released the hold and the two were back to brawling; Pride’s choice. Having gained the upper hand, Pride had Peterson in the corner and is throwing some heavy soup bones which drops Peterson to the seated position. Stomping on Peterson while in the corner, he then places his boot across the throat of Peterson and pushes down choking the life out of him. After a moment, he removes his foot and reaches down grabbing Peterson’s feet – yanking him into the air and out of the turnbuckle, Peterson hits the canvas hard as Pride makes the cover.
Peterson gets the shoulder up just in time.
Smith: Pride is really taking it to Peterson here tonight.
Yanking Peterson up to his feet, he is quickly grabbed around the waist and tossed backwards with a release belly to belly suplex which sends him back first into the turnbuckle. Screaming out in pain, Peterson pulls him out of the turnbuckle and applies a modified version of his Goal-Line Drive which causes Pride to scream out in pain and shake his head no in submitting.
Trying to reach the bottom rope with his feet, he is too far away and eventually taps the canvas.
Barbara Braman: The winner of the match by submission, LLLANNNCEEEE PEEEEEETERSOOOON!
Stevenson Preparation
Heading backstage right after the Pride and Peterson match, we see Drew Stevenson sitting on a wooden bench dressed in his ring gear already except for the black “Never say Die” t-shirt that he wears for his long time friend, Scotty Addams. Looking down, he is wrapping up his hands in tape as Danny Stevenson steps into view dressed in a suit jacket, a light blue shirt underneath it and blue jeans. Getting to his feet, Drew and Danny embrace in a hug as Danny and Drew begin to talk.
Danny: Hey Drew, how ya feeling son?
Drew: I’m feeling great, ready to teach that little punk a lesson tonight.
Danny: I know that ya will, he has been nothin’ but disrespectful since tha moment he got here.
Drew: I know that he has and tonight? I’ll make sure that knows the true meaning of respect when I beat it into him. Don’t worry about tonight Uncle Danny, Bryce has an ass kicking coming his way and I’ll end his chances of even remotely getting close to becoming the MSW Heavyweight Champion.
Smiling, Danny feels one hundred percent confident in his nephew.
Danny: I know that ya will Drew, go out there an’ make us proud son!
Smiling and hugging again, Danny exits the dressing room as Drew sits back down and goes back to taping up his hands.
Demetrius Burrell Vs Shawn Roberts
Smith: The Stevensons are motivated tonight.
Bradford: They better be because Drew Stevenson is facing The Architect of MSW Bryce Manning tonight in our main event!
Smith: Drew Stevenson always brings his “A” game, it’ll certainly be an instant classic tonight! But now we have another match in this night of qualifiers as Shawn Roberts makes his debut against Demetrius Burrell.
Bradford: Well the Main Attraction definitely impressed in his last outing but the rumors going around is that Shawn Roberts is a real psycho. The Harbinger of Hell? Sounds pretty spooky.
Smith: It’s the mentally unbalanced ones you have to worry about the most because they’re unpredictable, half the time they might not even know what they’re doing!
Bradford: We’ll see if his inner demons are a boon or a burden here as the lights are shining bright.
TWO!
THR-KICKOUT!
Roberts manages to barely kick out having been taken by surprise. Burrell quickly gets back to his feet and manages to connect with a vicious enziguri as Roberts gets back up to a knee dropping him again, going for the cover again.
TWO!
KICKOUT!
Roberts kicks out a little faster this time as Burrell keeps the pace frantic.
Smith: Burrell is coming out on fire out of the gate tonight!
Bradford: Certainly not what Roberts was expecting that’s for sure!
Burrell jumps back up his feet, carefully scouting his opponent as he tries to get up. Seizing the opportunity of the opening Burrell quickly goes to springboard off the ropes as he connects to Roberts as he walks right into the Tidal Crush (springboard 180 roundhouse kick).
Smith: He calls that roundhouse kick the Tidal Crush, very fitting with the torrential offense he continues to pour out upon his opponent.
Bradford: Shawn Roberts better pull a rabbit out of his ass or this one is over!
As the fans go wild Burrell wastes no time as he quickly ascends the turnbuckle, playing to the fans as he strikes a quick pose before leaping off to connect with the High Rise (Frog Splash). Burrell hooks the leg.
TWO!
THREE!
Barbara: Here is your winner, Demetrius Burrell!
Smith: Impressive win by Demetrius Burrell tonight, this man’s stock continues to rise as he stamps his ticket to the tournament.
Bradford: Just goes to show if you’re off by just a step the tables can turn very quickly.
Blood Boils
The aftermath of the last match is still being cleaned up, the ring being reset as the audience anticipates the next step in the tournament bracket. There is a small hush over the crowd, the partially quiet aura being shattered at the sound of the PA system blasting "Ephemeral" by Insomnium. The crowd bursts into a sea of boos, Travis Rech standing out on the entrance way as Robert Garland comes out of the backstage area with a sour look on his face. Garland looks out at the large number of people giving him their vocal opinions before shrugging it off and heading down to the ring, microphone in hand as Rech follows him down the ramp.
Smith: It looks like Robert "Badger" Garland is a man on a mission tonight. After what happened last Unstoppable between him and Washington, I think it's safe to say why he's carrying that microphone.
Bradford: Robert Garland was screwed over last week Smith! There's no doubt he's out here tonight to set the record straight and shine some light on that phony poster boy Frank Washington!
Garland reaches the ring, Rech stepping in between the ropes and holding them open as Badger climbs between them. The audience continues to give a negative reaction as Garland begins to pace around the ring, Rech calling for his music to cut. With his entrance theme fading out, Garland raises the microphone to his lips and addresses the onlookers.
Garland: Is this how you all want The MSW to be known?! A pack of filthy liars and con artists?!
Bradford: Yeah, you tell them Garland! This man has the future of The MSW as the first thing on his mind.
Smith: Yes, I'm sure Garland stays up late as night just wondering how he can make the world a better place.
After the crowd dies down a bit, Garland continues to speak while Rech encourages him on.
Garland: Last week, I was SCREWED out of my chance to qualify for a shot at the MSW World Championship! Screwed I tell you! And, by who exactly? Well, wouldn't you know it, it was exactly the man that I'm out here tryin' to warn you all about every chance I can!
Crowd: Wash-ing-ton! Wash-ing-ton! Wash-ing-ton! Wash-ing-ton!
Garland: Yeah... That's right... Frank Washington... The man who has made it his agenda over these past few years to stick his nose into my business and make my life a livin' hell in any way he can. Does that man's name ring a bell to you all? Does that man sound like someone you want your children to cheer for and buy merchandise of? Does that man sound to you like a hometown hero who has your best interest in mind!? WAKE UP PEOPLE! I know you watched the tapes, I know you've all seen Washington's career before arrivin' in MSW! He's a coward, a traitor, and a turncoat! And right now he has all of you in the palm of his hand while he's bidin' his time to turn on each and every one of you! YOU'RE ALL SHEEP IN HIS FLOCK OF LIES! AND YOU'RE ALL TOO STUPID TO REALIZE IT!
Rech begins to clap in Garland's direction and nod in approval, almost as if this speech was some sort of therapy for Garland's anger. The crowd continues to disapprove as Garland continues on, not waiting for their jeering to settle down.
Garland: That's right... It's all going accordin' to plan. In fact, now that I'm here, it's just that much easier for him to hide his cowardice act! Now that I'm here, he can just point to me as the real villain and continue to pull the wool over all of your eyes. He's a dangerous mastermind who's only ambition is screwin' over anyone and everyone on his way to the top! That, MSW, is the only reason Rech took it upon himself to interfere in his match last week. Rech thought to stop Frank's master plan before it gets any further! We need this monster to be caged, not out here in society makin' a mockery out of all the things that you all hold dear. Surely you must see the light. Surely you all agree with me?!
Crowd: BOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO! GAR-LAND SUCKS! GAR-LAND SUCKS! GAR-LAND SUCKS!
Garland: Well who asked you anyway?! I'll just have to -
Garland's speech is cut short, a thunderous cheer drowning him out as "Re-Education (Through Labor)" by Rise Against plays over the arena. Garland looks like he's about to throw a fit at being interrupted as Frank Washington steps out of the backstage area and stands on the stage.
Frank Washington: You wanted my attention Badger?! You know it'd be one thing if you came here to compete, if you came here to put on a show for these people who paid their hard money to see wrestling in that very ring but for a personal vendetta?
Frank shakes his head in frustration.
Frank Washington: Listen I can't go and take back what happened all those years ago, I can't right the wrongs that were committed back then, but MSW isn't the place to settle this.
Bradford: What? He stabs this man in the back and he won't even face him?
Smith: It's not as simple as that Bradford. There's a lot more history to this than either of us know, people change you know.
Frank Washington: But at the same time I'm not going to sit back while you try to ambush me in the middle of the ring and screw me over! You want to know the reason why I got involved last Unstoppable, you really want to know why? Because Bobo the Hobo or sorry, Travis Rech I almost forgot you got rich while Badger was in prison, decided to get involved in my business. I'm not stupid Badger, I know Rech has his marching orders and I know you have a vendetta that you're determined to accomplish, it wasn't just coincidence now was it?
Smith: He does have a point.
Bradford: Can you blame him? The man hasn't paid his debt to society!
Frank Washington: But that wasn't enough now was it? You decided that you had to project your anger onto Daniel Smart, a man who has nothing to do with the business between us! You don't care about the spirit of professional wrestling anymore, you're blinded by your blood lust! You speak with the conviction of a saint by judging me by the man I used to be and not the man I've become all the while you're ignorant of the man you've become!
Rech playfully shrugs his shoulders, as if letting Frank's comments fall on deaf ears. Garland notices this, and responds.
Garland: You know, Frank... When you first came out here, I was too angry to think anythin' else but about this interruption... Then, I thought I might just hear you out... Maybe... Just this once. But now, all I see if you're still just spoutin' out the same loads of bullshit as always!
Frank looks slightly annoyed, but removes his shirt on the entrance way and starts to head down to the ring. Garland readies himself for a fight as the audience starts to cheer loudly!
Smith: Looks like it's finally about to go down!
Bradford: Put this phony out of our misery Garland!
Suddenly, as Frank closes in on the ring, the audience's chants shift from cheering to booing. As Frank notices this, he turns around to see a handful of security guards making their way towards him. Garland looks on as Rech warns him of a few more guards that just slid into the ring. With security in place, Garland and Frank are stopped in their tracks, security grabbing a hold of Garland as he tries to lunge towards Washington from inside the ring. Garland looks furious as security tries to force Frank backstage. Garland starts to swing wildly, security trying to hold him down as a few of the guards approach Rech.
Washington seems to have given up outside of the ring, the security guards taking it easy on him... Until he breaks away and runs into the ring! Rech starts to panic as Garland fights his way free as well, the two of them starting to trade blows in the center of the ring!
Bradford: Here we go!
Smith: The audience is in an uproar!
Right hand from Washington! Left from Garland! Right! Left! Right! Left! Washington throws Garland towards the ropes... Big shoulder block sending Washington to the ground on the rebound! Garland getting a running start... Missing the Senton Splash as Washington rolls out of the way! Security quickly gets back on the scene, the crowd starting to boo again.
After fighting to regain control, the security guards jump on Garland while he's on the ground. Washington being ejected from the ring and pulled backstage. Garland angrily yells out as he's held in the middle of the ring, Rech grabbing a microphone and directing himself towards Frank as Washington yells back.
Rech: Callin' security on us, eh? Real clever plan ta keep yerself safe! Make no mistake Washington. No matta that ya want this ta all jus' disappear, we're not goin' anywhere until you've repaid yer debt!
Frank Washington: You want this?! You want this Badger? You want a war? You got it! You'll get your wish you son of a bitch! I'm not your damn punching bag!
The cameras cut away as the show fades to a commercial break, Frank finally backstage as extra guards are called in to help get Garland out of the ring.
Mr. Kamara Vs Bryan York
Smith: Bradford, I tell ya what, I didn’t think security could have gotten to the ring soon enough to break those two up. I’ve known Frank and Garland both for a very long time and there’s no blood lost between these two. They completely hate each other and it’s disappointing because Frank isn’t the same man he was those years ago.
Bradford: There’s where I’ve gotta say you’re full of it, Smith. Because when it comes down to it, people don’t change. I’m a dick – I’ve always been a dick, I’ll always be a dick.
Smith: Can’t argue there.
Bradford: And that’s my point. Frank tortured Garland and he doesn’t expect him to be mad, and why? Because he’s “changed?” Crock of shi-
Smith: Watch it, Bradford. You know you can’t say that on television. But all I’m saying is that it’s a good thing security broke those two up but I’m wondering when Danny Stevenson is going to do anything about it.
Bradford: Who knows, who cares!? Let them fight, I say!
Smith: Well I’ll tell ya what, Bradford, these qualifiers have been just as intense as they were two weeks ago. The fire has been in the eyes of every single competitor that has advanced so far and you can just see it in them that there is not one person who doesn’t want their shot at that championship and as soon as everybody advances, we’re going to have ourselves a hell of a bracket.
Bradford: Absolutely, Smith, and that is why I love the MSW product. They don’t call us the Heart of the Independents for no reason and it’s shown with the heart of each and every competitor that has competed tonight with a whole lot more still to come. Like the big man Mister Kamara taking on the debuting Bryan York. Now… I’m ready to see the big man tear him down.
Smith: I don’t know so much about that. Bryan York is about twenty pounds smaller than Kamara but if you look at how well York is built and his athletic background I don’t know if the size advantage of Kamara is going to hold much.
Bradford: Why is Fields out here next to us introducing this match? What happened to Barbara?! I don’t want to stare at an old man.
Smith: That’s because after the match we’re going to get a few words from Marie Porter who makes her debut later tonight against Kim Pain and Autumn Raven, and she specifically asked for Barbara to interview her.
Bradford: They’re lucky I like them. Hey Robert, GO HOME, YOU’RE DRUNK! Booo Robert Fields Booooo.
“Here I come” by The Roots hit the speakers to boos from the crowd and the big man Mr. Kamara made his way out to the stage.
Robert Fields: Making his way to the ring, from Harare, Zimbabwe, weighing in at 267lbs, Miiisstterr Kaaammmaarrraaa!
Kamara made a slow and methodical entrance to the ring before his music cuts off for the tune of “Now It’s On” by Tech N9ne. As York made his way to the top of the stage the crowd cheered for him, which was the opposite of what he was used to, that, was certain. But in this circumstance York was more over by the crowd.
Robert: Now making his way to the ring, weighing in at 245lbs, from Brooklyn, New York, Brrryyyaaannn Yoooorrrkkk.
He made his way to the ring, staring down the big man down and the bell rang to start the match. Kamara started flexing York’s way to show off his build in an intimidation tactic but York laughed, mocked his posing and flipped him the bird. Kamara couldn’t believe it and ran right in towards York who ducked the lariat attempt and turned it into a big back body drop, lifting the big man off the ground with what looked like almost pure ease which is no easy feat. After slamming Kamara down to the mat, York made a cover but only a two. York seemed surprised but kept on the offense.
Bradford: And this is why York is the man! He’s not giving Kamara any sort of an offensive.
Smith: Just a minute ago you were saying he was going to get crushed. Now you’re on the York band wagon?
Bradford: I don’t have a clue what you’re talking about, Smith. It’s OK if you doubt York, but he’s gonna prove you wrong bucko.
Smith: Well the two are almost even in size and York has already proven that lifting the big man isn’t going to be a problem which may play almost into a deciding factor tonight.
The battle continued with York in control until he went for a suplex only to be countered by Kamara and slung up across the top rope and flexed to taunt before driving a knee into York knocking him off the ropes and he falls to the outside, hitting the apron on the way down. York stayed down and the referee was beginning the ten count. Kamara was looking really proud of himself with a smile and a strut around the ring.
Smith: The crowd very vocal tonight and it doesn’t look like York is moving very much… wait… wait a second he’s got something in his hand!
The count was about at 7, and York was slowly getting up using the apron, hiding his right hand which as Smith alluded to, had something in it. Kamara went to the ropes, reaching over he was grabbing York by the head but with a brass knuckle loaded, swift right hand he decked Kamara, but Kamara didn’t go down. Instead he looked like he was just knocked silly and didn’t know where he was. York threw the brass knucks to the side as the camera zoomed in on it and the crowd turned pretty quick not liking what they saw.
York slid into the ring and perched himself into a corner just stalking Kamara it seemed.
Smith: A damn loaded right hand turned the tide real fast and now it looks like York is setting up for the Drive-By, his vicious spear.
Bradford: I told you he’s innovative, Smith. DRIVE-BY! BAM! DOWN GOES KAMARA!
Smith: This could be it! A dazed and confused Mister Kamara felt York’s wrath and a cover!
Two…
Three!
Smith: Well by hook or crook he did it, damnit, but he did it and he advances.
Bradford: It’s only cheating if you get caught, remember that.
Smith: Yeah yeah, well folks, we’re going to go backstage where Barbara Brahman, by special request, is standing by with the newest Woman of Tradition, Marie Porter.
