Bieta/Hooks
Bieta's Father- Up until his death in a bad car accident, Bieta's father used to be a well loved local veterinary surgeon. Bieta chose to follow in her father's footsteps. Maybe your character knew Bieta's father and in turn chose his daughter for your present veterinary surgeon?
Orphan- literally, a possible orphan. Also, Bieta is an Orphan newly awakened mage, who seems to have a healer's touch. Perhaps mages of either the technocracy or traditions might try to recruit her? perhaps other types of supernaturals might try to protect or exploit her?
Bieta's Mother- was a talented and skilled computer programmer. Unknown to Bieta, her mother was a Virtual Adept, who was misdiagnosed with Schizophrenia when Bieta was 13 years old. When Bieta was 15 years old, her mother escaped from the asylum where she had been commited. When Bieta's father tried to find her mother, he was murdered. Bieta does not know for certain if her mother is alive. Though Bieta believes she is probably dead, due to an email sent to her from someone claiming to be her mother, which had a file attached, identified as only an inheritance left for Bieta at the time of her mother's death. Maybe you are a mage who knew Bieta's mother before she disappeared?
Library- courtesy of someone who is most likely her mother, Bieta has an impressive library of information downloaded into her head. At present, Bieta has been placed on medication, which she has been told is anti-seizure medicine. This medicine is actually a drug to keep the library dormant. If she is discontinued from using the medication, then the library is no longer dormant. If she can access it, Bieta cannot access it right now by just an act of will. There would need to be a thing or person in her environment that triggered information from inside the library. Bieta will not automatically understand everything she sees. If you choose to do anything that would make this library active, then be ready to deal with the technocracy handler, who will likely want to kill both of you.
Technocracy Handler/Assassin- Because the Technocracy do not know what all is in the library downloaded to Bieta's head because it is so heavily encrypted, they have not downloaded the content, mind-wriped and/or killed Bieta yet. However, she does have a handler assigned to observe and insinuate themselves into Bieta's life. If she shows signs of being able to access and understand the information downloaded into her head and resists efforts to recruit her into the technocracy, then this handler has orders to neutralize Bieta. Maybe you want to try and neutralize this guy first? Maybe you want to be the handler? Please @mail me in game if this is the case.
