He learned there how to pass as a human, and unlike many of his kind he found he quite enjoyed it. He took well to human life, and discovered a surprising gift for cooking and a love for food. He was one of the cooks for the Imperial Court before he began to get a serious wanderlust. He left China behind...and headed west.
