A new arrival to Prospect, Austin landed in the city ostensibly to attend UC-Prospect in the Fall 2019 semester as a Freshman. That would require him to pick a Major though, and he's just not ready for that kind of commitment just yet.
Austin is one of the Awakened. This is not advertised to the world at large, of course, but it is still a part of who he is.

Austin hails from Connecticut, son of a Wall St. financial genius, and would have been noted in the richer social circles from CT to NYC.
Old Legacy
Austin's father is a member of the Order of Hermes, and the latest in a long line of Magi who have served that Tradition. Austin couldn't deal with their regimented ways, and disappointed his father.
