Steven/Introduction

I was born to a world of darkness. Ignorance is bliss and it is something I wish for but do not have. I am a mortal.. made to walk among the world of the supernatural. I've no special powers nor do I possess uncanny strength. Never to be strong but always to face the impossible. I have survived many cities, many enemies, many difficulties. I have loved.. lost.. and been forsaken. I walk because I'd rather not stand in place.. The world is not my friend. It is not my enemy. It is neither heaven nor hell.. it simply is.. and so too, shall I be. What I do have, however, is knowledge. Knowledge of how to kill those that feel they dominate the planet. Kindred, Mages, Demons, Shifters.. you all have your weaknesses... and I have learned them. I am not a Hunter.. I have no zeal or desire to eradicate any species. What I do have is a will to survive. And I will. Not because I cling to some hope.. or some cause.. but because I'd rather not die.
