Joined by Mimi, they captured Smitty in an alley outside of a McDonalds where he was watching a children's birthday party and killed him.

Velok and November, later joined by Gwydion, observe two men stalking two children; Billy and Suzie. After a brief confrontation, the two men leave the children alone at Gwydion and November's demand.

Axel and November meet Simon in a club. Simon, along with his many henchmen, make numerous threats to the pair, kill a hostage, then lure the group outside, where the twist of a knife provides a shocking turn of events. With a character's death, the group finds a common enemy.
