Bike Race Event: The event would happen out in the desert away from the town on some generally unused stretch of road possibly at night for...reasons.

  • Speed & Distance:: Track progress over the race using a certain number of successes to reach the finish line. For example, each racer needs a total of 10 successes. Whoever reaches this first wins. Racers can make a Dexterity + Drive check every round. Each success contributes to the total needed, but a failure means no progress, and a botch could cause a crash.
  • Complications: Add optional rolls for certain situations, such as:Avoiding Obstacles: If there's debris or hazards, the racers must make an additional Wits + Drive (or Dexterity + Drive) check to avoid losing control or slowing down.
  • Attempting Dirty Tricks: Racers might try to throw an elbow or kick another biker. This could be resolved with a Dexterity + Brawl (with a penalty for doing it while riding).
  • Ram/Sidewipe: A biker may try to force another off the road. A Strength + Drive roll contested by the target's Dexterity + Drive or Stamina + Drive would determine if the ram succeeds or fails.
