“Honor the sacred. Honor the Earth, our Mother. Honor the Elders. Honor all with whom we share the Earth.”

"I was fortunate not to be marked in a way that would prove a detriment to the Tribe. I am glad that I proved myself skilled enough to be allowed to serve them today. I will ensure that I stay as such."
"Little Brother and I may rarely - pardon the pun - see eye-to-eye, but I care for them all the same. The shamans I spoke with during the camp moots were most insightful and, in some cases, helpful to me. I understand that the knowledge we seek is dangerous, but to know your foe is to know their weakness."
"The Litany is clear that I should not be, but I am. I will not let this preclude me from being of use to you. If I am to die for the good of the Nation, I can think of no greater honor."
"Some of you were supportive of me when the Garou would rather I be dead. I am grateful, but sometimes your words border on forcing me out of my assigned place. Yet I do not hold it against you. I would rather know where I stand than be seeking things outwith my ability to reach and keep."
"Those of you I have met have been curious, but interesting people. Though I seek to keep the traditions of my ancestors alive, I know there is one I will not keep. Our world has too much hate in it for that. I will not beg for forgiveness for my ancestors. It is yours to give, not mine to demand."

"You are both curious and frightening. I am told you treat your Metis better than the Garou do. I care not. You may have been one of ours a long time ago but you are, sadly, lost to Grandfather Serpent now. I will at least ensure you do not suffer."
"Grandfather Serpent is too far gone, now. Balance may yet be possible, but I do not know for certain. Knowledge of him is power against his spawn, but that same knowledge can corrupt the unwary. I would seek to learn this dangerous knowledge so that greater Garou of the Nation need not."
"You are like me. You are not meant to be, yet you are. I, however, am not a mockery of life. If you cut me, I bleed. Can the same be said of you?"

Traditional Crafts- Waneta is known to be active in the pow-wow circuit, especially in participation. While not famous, he is a known regular. He also created traditional-style regalia for the events privately, both keeping a small stock of items and doing custom orders or alterations. Looking for something with a Native twist or interested in the circuit? Give him a call.
Mystic- Waneta deals primarily with the spirits and other spiritual things the average Joe would likely accuse him of playing up to appeal to tourists. Of course, truth is stranger than fiction. That one-eyed man might know more than he lets on about goings-on where a mortal eye can't see. The problem is getting him to tell...
Dedicated- Waneta was taught from a young age that a Metis would never amount to anything other than a tool to be used by the Nation. This still holds strong in his mind and he would do anything to be of help to anyone. A Garou needing a hand? Or just looking to break Waneta out of the cage he's locked himself in? Fish him out.
