Introduction
Before anything else, Oktav Petrom is a man who failed. Everything he's been, everything he is, everything he'll become - all of these will only come because of his failure, not his success. From failure there is growth, from success there is stagnancy, and stagnancy leads to painful death for Magi. Lashed time and again by his Avatar, Oktav Petrom has been driven to Prospect for reasons he cannot understand, from a war he'd only just begun to accept.

He's hardly different than any other veteran you'd find on the streets. Quiet, cold, booze painting his mind's eye with amber memories of comrades long dead. The only difference is that he can have you feel those memories, have you live them just as potently - and then take them away, leaving you with only a glimpse of the frost gripping his heart. A Magi bereft of hope and purpose, struggling to grasp a shred of meaning before his Avatar spurs him on yet again.

Stereotypes
Demon.png Creatures from hell, yet not of it. Slaves to be used and crushed when convenient.

Mage.png My Avatar is bad enough. It doesn't need any competition, thanks.

Vampire.png I prefer my demons to be literal, and not to stay standing after a dozen bullets to the face. Unpleasant creatures.

Mortal.png Everyone has their favorite children, and you are mine. Don't forget your place.

Mummy.png Mummies? Excuse me, we're talking about Mummies, now?

Werewolf.png I don't know you, and if I start learning it won't be to make friends. Keep to your turf, I'll keep to mine.

Changeling.png Flighty creatures who live in extremes. Any changes they enact upon the world are similar to themselves - ephemeral and violent. Best avoided if possible.

Wraith.png Sure, ghosts. Everyone's got unfinished business, dying doesn't change that. I like them more than Demons.

Contacts
Evaline: Quite a bit of potential, though rawer than I'd like. Buckles easily under intense pressure.

Sumter: Rare to see a nice guy leave war with more reasons to be nice. Very likeable.

RP Hooks
PMC: You ever work for Aegis or GardaWorld? If so, you might've heard of Oktav's exploits in the Middle East. He's not on any major country's radar, but within the organization he was one of the best squad leaders in the business. Shame about what happened, though...

Guitar: Oktav's been going online, putting a lot of work into trying to find a good guitar instructor. You'll find him on all the city's pages, offering reasonable enough pay. He hasn't gotten any hits yet, mostly because of the ominous line "Don't complain about my apartment."

Driver: Maybe you need someone with a little bit of knowhow and a lotta bit of hush hush to get you safely away from an inconvenient scene? Oktav won't drive for murderers, but if you have a sob story and a wad of cash, you might find his steady hands on the wheel.

Drinking: The only thing better than drinking alone is drinking alone together. If you can put 'em away without devolving into a slobbering mess, Oktav always loves a challenge.
