Background: Mundane
A hacking prodigy as a teenager, Cade spent a good deal of time in and out of juvenile facilities in his youth. Using the handle "Zero-day," he installed ransomware on local government servers near his hometown of Bethesda, Maryland, crashed electrical grids, disrupted traffic systems, and otherwise engaged in all manner of cyber-anarchist mischief. Fortunately, he turned his attention to cryptocurrency mining before reaching the age of 17. This shift in focus to the cypherpunk world was highly profitable, giving him the resources to have his rather prodigious juvenile record expunged. He forewent college, finding the prospect of coursework to be profoundly tedious. Instead, he put his bitcoin fortune to use in founding Cerberus, a cryptocurrency exchange. The nascent exchange has grown significantly, reaching nearly half a billion US dollars in daily cryptocurrency volume. Cade has moved to Prospect to take advantage of its favorable regulatory environment and expand the exchange's operations.

Background: Garou
A Glass Walker and member of the Random Interrupts, Cade has used his hacking and finance skills to support the tribe. As a theurge, Cade interacts fluently with various digital spirits and augments his coding skills with their support and guidance. He is affiliated with the technogaianists.

Background: Kinain
Cade is a genetic mess, harboring Fae blood alongside his Garou heritage. It turns out his grandfather was a Satyr, an Unseelie one at that, and he didn't stick around to explain the details to Cade's grandmother or his grandson. As a result, Cade's banality is much lower than one would expect from someone who spends his days dealing with code, currencies and arbitrage. His Fae heritage is likely responsible for his Spirit Sight, and he's had some interactions with the Fae in the past (usually regarding assistance with computers, etc.), but he generally attempts to stay out of their affairs.
