Lleutrim was born in the North Georgia mountains. He spent his childhood growing up there as well as several Marine Corps bases his father was assigned to. When he was old enough, Lleu went into Officer Candidate School and become a commissioned officer like his father before him. He served in Iraq and Afghanistan before departing the USMC with the rank of Captain.
