Some claim that there are more Gorgons on the Earth right now, as of this moment, than there has ever been before --
not because the Wyld is stronger, but because its need is stronger than it ever has been before.
On the surface, many Gorgons have a great deal in common with Fomori.
They hunger, they kill, they tear apart families and property apart.
But you cannot tell with a Gorgon what obscure purpose is being served, or even if the Gorgon serves on at all.
The possibility that their actions are completely arbitrary is what frightens most of us about the Wyld.
It's dangerous to try to get inside a Gorgon's mind, or to think you can puzzle outs its motivation and purpose.
They are all but completely alien to us in thought and deed.
Understand that is you see a Gorgon doing something "good" as opposed to "evil" that it should not be taken as an indicator that it even remotely comprehends the morality of its actions.
