Bygone Type: Thing From Beyond Apparent Age: Late Teens/Early Twenties Height/Build: 5 ft. 2 in. / Slender and Athletic. Hair Color: Brilliant White Eye Color: Violet Noteworthy Ability: Shapechanger, Healer Occupation: Observer of Humanity, Occasional Pickpocket Creation Triss is a tiny sliver of one of a great, formless entity from beyond this reality. She was brought into the universe through magical means and imprisoned within an enchanted vessel. Her memories begin there, in the quiet dark of that prison. There's no telling how long she lay within it, but nearby construction caused a collapse in the underground chamber the vessel was in, freeing her and exposing her to the laws of the universe for the first time and forcing her to take form. The humans above were some of the first creatures she encountered, so it was a human form that she took first. Humanity As she explored her new reality, Triss quickly found humanity to be the most interesting of all life she encountered. She is fascinated in how humans cope with their inherent frailties, and finds them inspiring as well. She has spent most of her time wearing one human form after another, observing humanity from within and slowly learning the language and culture. Most recently she has chosen to try to take on more than a form, but also a more lingering identity, certain in her ability to pass as human now and curious for a closer view of society. Appearance Triss has a number of reasons for choosing to show such an unusual coloration, and will change her appearance whenever she sets out to do anything for which she wouldn't want to be recognized.
