Nikki Venom Vs Luke Jackson
Nikki Venom comes off of a no contest with Matt Ward with both men being counted out but he looks to change that tonight as he takes on Luke "The Kid" Jackson who seems to be a bit down on his luck as of late. Luke got beat up by Peyton Kaiser after the loss to Bryce Manning at Back to Basics and again at US13 when confronting Peyton. Luke returns to the ring however this week as he takes on the mysterious Nikki Venom who's got enough tricks up his sleeve, who really knows what he'll pull out. Can Luke put his personal issues aside and pick up a win or will he succumb to the venom?
Singles Match
TJ Bryce w/ Alex Bradford in action
TJ Bryce with former MSW Broadcaster, Alex Bradford in his corner, recreating an old alliance, returns to the ring for his first match since Back to Basics. Who will his opponent be? Tune in to find out!
Women of Tradition Contest
Kat Jones Vs Marisol Hawkes
Kat Jones, the power player in the MSW Women's Division. After a hellacious match against Artemis Kaiser for the Women's Championship at Back to Basics, she took the two weeks of US13 to recover but now she's back in action against Marisol Hawkes who just fell to Kat's friend and rival, the #1 contender Marie Porter. The Women are stacking up, looking to make their stake for Artemis' title following whatever the result may be between her and Marie and this match is sure to be no different. Kat want's another shot at that belt for sure, and Marisol wouldn't mind getting herself a shot at the belt either. Can Marisol get herself out of this rut she's found herself in?
At US13 the invitational kicked off again with an open challenge, following a very successful win over Daniel Smart and it was answered by major fan favorite here in Kansas City, "The Righteous One" Jay B. Harris wanted nothing to do with Jay B due to their brief past of working together, and the momentum Jay B was building before the closure of ROW. So the match was challenged and made for tonight, that there's no more running for LeBroc Harris as he takes on Jay B in this third invitational, where LeBroc may only win by submission.
Singles Match
"Twisted" Lethal Steele w/ Cryptic Vs Daniel Smart
Lethal Steele was scheduled to face James Peterson but we had to come back from break early because of the chaos going on that left both James and brother Paul Peterson out cold in the back with seemingly no effort at all by Lethal Steele, showing he really is twisted and seems to listen to only that of Cryptic, his manager. But while Steele is just a crazy monster, he takes on the #1 Contender for Bryce Manning's MSW Heavyweight Championship, Daniel Smart, two weeks before he takes on the fight of his life for round two. Will Smart have to be on the lookout for Garland/Williams or Manning?
Women of Tradition Contest
Lucy Wylde Vs Anica Townsend
Lucy has been on one heck of a roll hasn't she? Well let's see if she can keep that roll going against Anica Townsend. Anica has had some issues with Marisol Hawkes from the time they came into MSW, so Marisol might be in the vicinity but Lucy is on a hot streak and made it known she's got her target on that Women's championship and Artemis didn't seem to take too kindly to Lucy; keeping up her CHAMPION FOR LIFE appearances, after all. Who will come out the winner? Will Lucy stay on a roll or will Anica show the MSW fans what she's made of.
Singles Match
The Notorious Thugs Vs Salman Van Dam & Ian Windermear
The Notorious Thugs won in dominating debut fashion at US13 but that was against Chris Alans and the already beaten up Tommy Angel and that didn't settle for them. They wanted more; the thugs wanted a CHALLENGE. So Drew Stevenson has given them a challenge: the two men that just challenged for the Tag Team Championships that the Thugs have their eyes on: SVD and Ian Windermear. Two great teams, two top challengers, who has it in them to take it?
Singles Match
Bryce Manning w/ Decaine Vs Matt Ward
Tag Team Match
Joker's Wild (Frank Washington/Scotty Addams) w/ Drew Stevenson Vs Robert Garland & Chris Williams w/ Travis Rech
Drew Stevenson and Scotty Addams made a shocking save for Frank Washington when he was being triple teamed by Garland, Williams and Rech after Frank seemed to lose it and got himself disqualified. Well Drew had enough of Garland's constant trying to screw Frank over and this is where he as a friend had to step in and give Frank a partner he knew he could count on. Nothing against Daniel Smart of course, but when you've got the Joker's Wild, you've got a band of brothers. Garland and Williams worked very well as a team but let's see how they handle when Frank has his backup.
MAIN EVENT
Peyton Kaiser w/ Cameron & Artemis Kaiser Vs Johnny B. w/ Yugo Phailous & Luke Jackson
Intro
Crowd: EM ES DUB! EM ES DUB! EM ES DUB!
Robertson: Absolutely we do! I mean look at it! Nikki Venom is going to eradicate Luke Jackson, the monstrous Lethal Steele competes against the number one contender, LeBroc Harris keeps that invitational going and he's going to make Jay B tap out and all kinds of great things!
Smith: I don't know about all of those predictions actually happening since we're supposed to stay neutral but let's not forget about the reuniting Jokers Wild: Frank Washington and Scotty Addams being accompanied by Drew Stevenson to take on the new alliance of the PURE15 champion, Chris Williams and Robert Garland! Up and coming Woman of Tradition, Lucy Wylde takes on local Diana Isis and don't forget about the Notorious Thugs in action, too!
Nikki Venom Vs Luke Jackson
Smith: Nikki Venom is taking control early on against Luke Jackson! Taking the strike at the knee to potentially eliminate that high flying ability that makes him so good!
Robertson: Nikki Venom is doing what he has to do to win! He talked all week about wanting to eradicate Luke Jackson for Peyton to take that runt off of his hands and why not? Take out the legs, he can’t fly. If he can’t fly he’s got little to no offense, and no offense means Venom is going to poison him.
Venom was seen slapping Luke on the ground who held his knee and when Luke rolled to his gut, Nikki paint brushed him and just kept getting loud boos from the crowd. Luke was able to use the ropes to get to his feet, and the referee backed Nikki off. Once Luke was to his feet Nikki Venom charged in trying to go for the legs again but Luke saw it coming, jumped over Nikki’s leg and caught him in the side of the head with a nice kick that let off a loud >SMACK< and Nikki backed up, dazed and confused. Luke shook his leg a bit to make sure he still had feeling. Once he did, Luke jumped to the middle rope and springboarded backwards, connecting on Nikki with a big cross body and a quick cover with only a two.
Smith: The feeling back in Luke’s leg and executing that high flying that he’s known for! Luke just connected with a big cross body! If he’s able to keep this up, Luke Jackson might just have Nikki Venom’s number!
Robertson: Except that Nikki is on the road to eradication and he’s going to stop at nothing to get what he wants, Smith. Nikki wants to be in Peyton Kaiser’s good graces and wants to do him a favor so Peyton can get his focus back on the Heavyweight championship and his success to the top! Venom is far from out of this!
Luke was able to get up first and threw some stomps at Nikki Venom and the pace quickly picked up. Luke Jackson was using his speed and agility to his advantage and it was almost like Nikki Venom wasn’t too sure how to combat it. Luke had a moment now where he ran and jumped to the top rope coming off with a big moonsault but the turning point was getting caught across Nikki’s shoulders, executing his size advantage and with a big powerslam, Venom drove Jackson into the mat and a quick cover.
It wasn’t quite enough to keep Luke down and it kept up that way. It was like Luke didn’t want to give up and it was getting Nikki to be quite irritated too, actually. He was to the point of slapping Jackson when he was in control, just to humiliate him but it just fired up Luke some more. He came back with more punches taking Nikki to the ropes and with a big clothesline, Luke takes himself and Nikki to the outside but we see Luke landing on his feet. He threw his hands in the air and the crowd loved it. Luke slid back to the ring and looked back to see Nikki Venom slowly getting up.
Smith: A huge lariat taking both guys outside! Luke Jackson is pulling out all the stops to keep the bigger man of the two down and that’s exactly what he needs to do to keep the one up here!
Robertson: Of course it is, captain obvious! Luke Jackson is giving up nearly a hundred pounds and almost half a foot to Nikki Venom and the only way he’s going to have that one up on this guy is to use that agility and to use that speed. But that speed and high risk that Luke Jackson brings to the table is also tied hand and hand with recklessness and if he doesn’t take into consideration what he’s doing, Nikki Venom is going to eradicate him just like he’s been talking about! Luke has all the charisma and talent in the world but I don’t know if it’s enough to take out Nikki Venom!
Smith: And why not?! Because Venom is bigger? You ever hear of David versus Goliath!?
Robertson: Then we might as well allow inter-gender competition, Smith! It’s unrealistic! It’s just not plausible!
Smith: How the hell do you figure that?! There’s been COUNTLESS smaller men that have defeat guys much bigger than them! Luke Jackson even defeated Matt Ward back at Best of the Best in a DOG COLLAR MATCH! And Matt’s one of the biggest men IN MSW!
Robertson: Minor technicality!
Luke ran across to the opposite ropes and charged back to the side of the ring where Nikki Venom stood in his daze. Luke jumped over the top but a bit on his side, spinning a few times in the air and landing across Venom and taking both guys down.
The count out began and both men and they were staggering and made it back to the ring before being counted out but as they were getting up, Nikki leaped forward with what energy he had and was just throwing shot after shot on a grounded Luke Jackson. Luke was able to roll away, however, and use a quick burst of energy to get to his feet while Nikki was showing signs of exhaustion. Luke hit the ropes once more, jumping to the middle rope to his right, using that to jump to the top rope to his left and moonsault off towards Nikki Venom. That was the intention anyway, but before the actual jump to the top rope, the fans began to boo loudly as we saw the man now known as Peyton Kaiser appeared on top of the stage and Luke looked at him, standing in the corner.
Smith: What the… that’s Peyton Kaiser but he’s not scheduled until later tonight in that main event against Johnny B.! Nikki Venom issued him an invitation to sit front row and it’s looking like he might just be doing that! Is this the beginning of some sort of alliance?!
Robertson: It wouldn’t surprise me, Smith, because Peyton is out to be done with Luke Jackson and if somebody else makes his job easier, than why the hell not?!
Well Peyton stood on the ramp, Luke shrugged him off, jumping now from the middle of the corner to the top rope, and springing backwards with a big moonsault… but Venom moved and Jackson landed on his feet but had a moment of staggering from the impact. As soon as he looked up, >SMACK< that vicious 13th Step standing side kick to a kneeled opponent connected well and flush, looking to have knocked Luke Jackson clean out.
Smith: Nikki Venom scouting Luke Jackson and taking advantage, connecting that 13th Step and this could be it!
Robertson: Could be? OF COURSE IT IS! What have I been telling you the whole time, Smith? Luke Jackson’s high risk was going to be just that, a risk, a liability, and it was taken advantage of! Luke Jackson has been eradicated!
Smith: I wouldn’t count Luke down and out just yet, Mark! Just because he’s lost a battle here tonight, things are just picking up between Peyton and Luke!
Luke is down, and Nikki covers.
Robertson: I TOLD you this would happen! Luke Jackson is dooone! He just got injected with a lethal dose of Poison!
Barbara: Your winner... NIIIKKIIII VEEENNNNOOOMMM!
Smith: Well, we'll see Luke back in JBC's corner later tonight, but for now we’ve gotta take a quick break but when we come back, we see TJ Bryce with his new attitude and my former broadcast colleague, Alex Bradford in his corner, in action!
TJ Bryce vs Chris Alans
"Fame" hits on the P.A and TJ Bryce comes through the curtain walking backwards until the chorus kicks in with Alex Bradford close behind. Once the chorus kicks in, TJ turns around and the camera zooms in. Pointing down to his Rolex he mouths "Time is money" and gives up that classic arrogant wink toward the camera.
Barbara Braman: The following match is scheduled for one fall! Making his way to the ring first, accompanied by Alex Bradford, from Toronto, Ontario, Canada weighing 212lbs… TJ Bryce!
He continues his way down the ramp completely ignoring the fans and slides in the ring. Once in the ring he leans against a turnbuckle and waits impatiently for the match to start.
Robertson: Hey Smith, look it’s your old broadcast partner Alex Bradford, another guy who did your job better than you!
Smith: You’re about as annoying as him too, maybe worse.
Robertson: I’m hurt Smith, sometimes words hurt more than balled up fists. It’s not my fault I do a better job than you at this table. You should take it in stride and stop being such a downer.
Smith: Well last I checked we had a match to call and right now TJ Bryce is looking to re-establish himself after the departure of Roman Gold. He’s certainly shown a spark so far and tonight he’ll have a chance to make a statement against The Brick Wall, Chris Alans.
Robertson: Alans is certainly a big man but he’s unpolished. He’ll need to be firing on all cylinders if he hopes to stand a chance, might doesn’t always make right!
The camera then cuts back to the hallway in the back focusing on a door with the letters “JANITOR” in all bold displayed on it. “Gay Bar” by The Electric Six hits the arena as the door swings open, Chris Alans stumbling out as brooms and mops fall over as he emerges. In a fit of frustration Alans grabs one of the brooms and snaps it in two over his knee and throws it at the ground. Alans storms through the hallway and bursts through the curtains to a pair of sparklers waiting for him by stagehands as he lowers his head before striking a “Magnificent” muscular pose showing off his physique wearing a cheesy grin.
Barbara Braman: And his opponent from Monterey, California, weighing 285lbs he is The Brick Wall… CHRIIIISSS ALLAAANNNS!
Alans takes his time walking down the ramp posing along the way to the displeasure of the crowd before he finally walks up the steps and enters the ring. Alans gets in the face of TJ Bryce in the ring, flexing in front of him trying to intimidate him. The referee has to get between the two and direct Alans back to his corner. As the bell rings Alans continues to taunt TJ Bryce, flexing and posing in front of him, trying to intimidate him by showing off his “physique”.
Robertson: Oh come on this is a wrestling match not a poseoff!
Smith: Showing off is The Brick Wall’s game next to blowing off everyone’s views who don’t match his own. He wants to intimidate opponents with his sheer size alone but so far… it hasn’t exactly gotten him any wins.
Robertson: Of course it hasn’t Captain Obvious! Maybe he’d be great on the dollar stage in a Las Vegas nightclub but in the end it’s the work in the ring that gets the job done.
Almost as if a light clicked on TJ Bryce smirked and struck a pose himself and despite being smaller was clearly in better shape. Alans, trying to show him up drops to his knees and yells at him.
Chris Alans: Oh you think you’re so tough eh little man? You think I’m some kind of joke?! I’d love to see you try some pushups, watch how a REAL man gets it done!
Alans attempts some push ups as TJ Bryce slowly backed up before running forward with a punt kick aimed right at his head. Alans slumps down to the mat after taking a direct hit as TJ Bryce goes for the pin.
Smith: Direct Deposit! That’s the same move that put Deacon Cash on the shelf!
Robertson: Well… back to the Olive Garden or the Janitor Closet for Alans.
2!
3!
Barbara Braman: Here is your winner T… J… Bryce!
The Takeover Begins… NOW
Bradford claps in approval as the referee raises TJ Bryce’s arm in victory before snatching a microphone from ringside.
Bradford: Ladies and Gentlemen what you just witnessed here is just the beginning!
The crowd boos as Bradford walks up the ring steps, TJ Bryce sitting on the middle rope and holding the top rope up to allow Bradford to enter with ease.
Bradford: Now while it’s unfortunate that Roman Gold and the Gentlemen’s Club are no more in MSW, the stock of TJ Bryce continues to rise. Deacon Cash was the first victim at Back to Basics thinking his redneck southern values could conquer a Monopoly, to bring a corporate giant back down to earth but let me ask you something Deacon since I know you’re watching at home in Hicksville, USA; how’s that working for you?
Bradford: Aw boo yourselves! Cry me a river while you’re at it, that’s not going to bring Deacon Cash back! He’s at home suffering through splitting migraines that may plague him for the rest of his life, I’ve seen stroke patients come out of the hospital looking better than him! Bobby Langford thought he could put an end to TJ Bryce and he’s sitting at home, walking with a cane thankful that his leg wasn’t completely shattered to pieces! Chris Alans, God bless him thought he could do what Bobby couldn’t, what Deacon couldn’t, what nobody else could and now the hospital is going to take him to the bank just like a Direct Deposit. I hope Danny Stevenson is watching very closely in the back and I hope he has the deed to MSW kept under lock and key for his sake because Bryce Enterprises is taking over. You can love it or hate it but either way you have to deal with it! This is your future, this is the future of every single member of the MSW locker room that dares to step up and try to be a hero; in the end capitalism always wins!
Dat Johnny to the B-C
The scene switches to the backstage area, where Charles Matias is standing next to Johnny B..
Charles Matias: "I'm standing next to one-half of the MSW Tag-Team Champions, who in tonight's main event will be squaring off against Peyton Kaiser... ladies and gentlemen, The Pre-Millennium Johnny B.."
The fans can be heard cheering as they witness this all transpiring on the big screen. The Johnny looks pretty annoyed.
Johnny B.: "Charlie M., tonight ought to be about saying some wacky crazy stuff about that punk-ass, low-down, no-good, scum-sucking, yella-bellied, sell-out, no-class, douche-bag, dung-pate, bad attitude, small genital-having failed hero half-wit Peyton Von Dickt... but nah. Not tonight. Tonight, it's about going into that squared circle, mano y mano,- well, there's at least ONE mano; Peyton's more like a niño vato these days."
Charles Matias: "But there'll be more people than just you and Peyton Kaiser: ringside, he'll have his siblings Cameron and the MSW Woman of Tradition Champion Artemis, while in your corner is the other half of the Tag-Team Champions in Yugo Phailous as well as a man who has a MAJOR problem with Peyton, Luke Jackson."
The fans boo where appropriate and cheer when necessary. Johnny inhales deeply and nods.
Johnny B.: "The Kaisers... The Johnny of ALL people should have known that they'd ALL become a blight on this industry. Well, Kaiser Klan, fool me once, shame on me... but fool me TWICE..."
Johnny raises an arm which is revealed to be wielding his trust shinai. The fans go ballistic.
Johnny B.: "I BEAT on YOU! Because you see, tonight, ain't NO ONE leaving the Kansas City Repertory Theater in one piece! ALL bodies get maimed this night, BELIEVE that! Shit is getting nipped in the BUD in tonight's main event, though I guess when referring to the Kaiser Klan, well, weeds don't HAVE buds - they just grow outta control. But give 'em all a... YANK! Salt the Earth they once infested, SCORCH it for good measure... oh, even Kaiser Weeds die out!!"
Charles Matias: "Which brings us to what Peyton Kaiser said recently: tonight, as far as he's concerned, YOU'RE the one who's as good as dead!"
The fans boo in disapproval of their one-time hero's eerie portend. Johnny scoffs at the idea, then shrugs mockingly.
Johnny B.: "I'M gonna die? I'M gonna die tonight?! ME?! The Johnny? Fifteen years in this business only to have his life ended at the hands of some punk-ass, low-down... well, you know the rest... you think I'm going down on YOUR terms, Peyton? This is FAR from my last match, son! In 10 years' time, MAYBE you'd be the one to take me out of this wrasslin' game, but NOT TONIGHT!!"
The fans roar in approval. Johnny goes to leave, but returns moments later, pointing his shinai directly at the camera and smirking.
Johnny B.: "But tonight, Peyton, ol' buddy, ol' pal? Maybe YOU'LL be the one going down... for GOOD."
He says this last part with a frown. He glares are the camera for a few moments more before leaving for good.
Charles Matias: "Uhh, back to you guys in the booth!"
Heroes always perish in the end
In a room filled with darkness, the only bright and beautiful thing is that of stained-glass in a church. The portrait in the stained-glass was that of mother Mary and she was holding baby Jesus in her arms while looking down with so much love and care. Panning away from the beautiful portrait, through the shadows peers out a face wearing a mask, his voice was deep and full of meaning as he speaks with conviction.
Cryptic: There's always that one man who wants to be the hero, always that one man who believes that he is Superman. Throughout mankind, heroes are disposable and heroes always die for the cause-are you willing to go that far Smart?
Pausing briefly, he brings his head up and simply stares into the camera.
Cryptic: Go ahead and be the hero Daniel, go ahead and hold children's hands and tell them that it will be okay because I promise you that it won't. Tonight Daniel, tonight everything changes for you and while you don't see it coming? Everybody else but you sees exactly what I am going to do to you, they see the destruction waiting, they see an apocalypse and it all starts with you Daniel Smart!
Beginning to laugh maniacally, the camera pans back over to the beautiful stained glass portrait of mother Mary holding baby Jesus as suddenly it gets lifted and thrown down to the floor as it shatters upon impact.
Kat Jones versus Marisol Hawkes
As both women are already standing in the ring, the referee signals for the bell getting this match underway. As both women embrace in a collar and elbow tie up; Marisol quickly darts in behind Kat and hits a drop kick right to the back sending Kat chest first against the ropes and as she stumbles backwards, Marisol rolls her up for the pin.
Pressing her shoulders up off of the canvas, Marisol immediately grabs Kat by her black hair and picks her up to her feet.
Smith: Marisol showing some fire and aggression here tonight!
Robertson: Well she does have red hair, it only makes sense.
Wrapping her arms around Kat's waist, Marisol looks to hit a German suplex but Kat manages to keep her ground and gets in behind Marisol where she hits a German as the back of Marisol's head strikes the canvas extremely hard as she clutches the back of her head in a great deal of pain.
Smith: What a German suplex by Kat, that one looked like it put Marisol completely out cold.
Robertson: I'm sure that it did Alex, did you see her head hit the canvas? That kind of impact leaves brain damage, if you need further proof just ask Jenna Jameson because she knows all about her head striking things.
Smith: Oh knock it off Mark, that is not a nice thing to say.
Robertson: The great part about that Smith is that I never said that I'm a nice guy.
Picking Marisol up to her feet, Kat grins devilishly as she sets Marisol up perfectly and hits the Kat-astrophe driving her head into the canvas and immediately hooking the leg afterwards.
Barbara: Your winner of the match, KAT JOOONNNEEESSS!!!
Rolling off of Marisol's lifeless body, the referee raises Kat's hand into the air as she has won this match up.
The Jokers Are Ready
Drew: Tonight's a big night, guys. This night is a Jokers reunion, and tonight is going to be a Jokers kind of night!
Scotty: Oh you bet your ass it's gonna be a Jokers kind of night! Frank, man, tonight and any night for that matter you know we've got your back. I know you said you wanted to handle this on your own but two weeks ago they took it too far and they were aiming to take you out. We weren't there for your history with them, but as long as we're in this business, brother, we're here to watch your back. These guys are dangerous and you know that, but together there's nobody that can stop us.
Frank: I know, man. I thought I could handle it but then Chris got into the fold... and don't get me wrong, I will take care of Badger, but I appreciate you guys having my back. You're my brothers, and you're right, Scotty, better men have tried to stop us. This is a Jokers kind of night and these guys are going down.
Drew: That's what I'm talking about! Just remember one thing guys: they can't laugh with a broken jaw!
The team puts their hands together and laugh as they walk down the hall and we cut out to ringside.
Jay B Vs LeBroc Harris
Smith: This is a match that I’ve been anxiously waiting two weeks for, Mark! Jay B made his official television debut two weeks ago, answering the LeBroc Harris Invitational challenge but LeBroc didn’t seem to want anything to really do with his old rival from Kansas City and this match was made for tonight for the official Jay B in-ring debut in the LeBroc Harris Invitational!
Robertson: This is a joke! Jay B isn’t anybody that you can take seriously, but Harris on the other hand is one of, if not THE single greatest technical wrestler in the business today… with the exception of Drew Stevenson that is. All people like Jay B like to do is party; they can’t take take anything seriously and he shouldn’t even be in the same ring as Harris!
Smith: Regardless of what you think, Jay B is a former champion from another independent company based right here out of Kansas City just a few years ago, defeating Duke Andrews of all people. So I’d say he’s got just as much right to be there as anybody else, regardless of how good Harris is!
The bell rang, Harris still had that look that he wanted nothing to do with Jay B and was trying to shrug him off which had included Jay B getting shoved back.
Jay B puts his hands up and slowly backs up. As he does, Harris rushes out of the corner and tries to get a jump on Jay B but he saw the attempt coming and moved out of the way and pushed Harris forward from the back. Harris hit the ropes but right when he came back he was caught by a big scissor kick to the face.
Smith: PARTY ROCKER! Jay B connected the Party Rocker right away! Completely using Harris’ arrogance to his advantage and connected that Party Rocker scissor kick and this could be it!
Robertson: The referee needs to check his boot! He’s got steel footing in there!
Smith: You’re just upset that you’re wrong for a change!
Robertson: Jealousy is flattery in its purest form.
Jay B makes the cover with the crowd counting along.
