Second is her legendary ability to drink enough to literally kill an elephant. There are Chinese drinking songs of her ability to put away the liquor. Lastly her love of pranks and practical jokes. Others claim she traveled east seeking adventure and glory, and a few believe she became lost in the world of spirits. Whatever the truth is only Yu Yan knows it and has never mentioned a word about it. She returned sometime in the early 1980's or that is the first time the infamous Monkey was seen in San Francisco's China Town. Since then she has popped up here and there, but never for long, and always chaos ensued shortly after.

Second is her legendary ability to drink enough to literally kill an elephant. There are Chinese drinking songs of her ability to put away the liquor. Lastly her love of pranks and practical jokes.
