Intro Rod's a detective with the Prospect Police Department, Special Investigations Unit. He's not the most sociable on the force; he comes in, works his cases, and then goes home. Most officers find his intensity more than a little unnerving, and there's a lot of whispers about the fact that his last partner went on permanent leave after a gang boss they were tracking was mauled to death by some sort of large animal. Still, rumor has it he's clean, and there's no question that he works hard and brings a lot to the table.
