Jekaterina/Hooks

• Russia - She was born and grew up in the Russian city of Astrakhan. A major, violence-ridden slum. Her parents abandoned her, and she ended up in an overcrowded, underfunded orphanage. She was a ward of the state.

• Vora - As a child she practically worshipped the Russian mob, the Vory vasa Konya. She admired them. She was small and picked on and abused, and she wanted the fear and power they possessed. However, the Vora code states that women are little better then animals, and they can never be full members.

• Crime - Jekaterina constantly ran away from the orphanage, and she stole, assaulted, and did anything else she could to try and draw the positive notice of the Vora. She made friends with a street tattoo artist, and when she accomplished things she had him ink her.

• Tattoos - Her tattoos are the kinds used by the Vora as symbols. They show accomplishments and rank within the Russian Mob. A woman should -not- have them.

• Death - At fourteen this draws the attention of a Russian mobster. Insulted, he decapitated the tattoo artist, and put three bullets in Jek's chest, and broke her tattooed hands.

• Purchase - As a ward of the state, she ended up in critical condition in a hospital in the city. Several Iteration-X members took notice of her case, and they secretly purchased her from the hospital staff.

• Enhancements - She became a test subjects for various life-enhancing and cyber techniques. She was conscious through many of the surgeries with little anesthetic, as she had to be. In the end she was better, stronger, faster. She was no longer a victim, and she loved it. The mind-bending procedures also caused her Awakening.

• Union - She became an enforcer for the Union in Russia, even at her young age. Nobody saw her coming. She was relentless and lethal. Blindly loyal. When the Union says jump, Jekaterina throws you off a building.

• Agent - At eighteen she finally secured her position as a full field agent of Iteration-X. However, most of the Union still doesn't trust her. She's unstable. Violent. Dangerous. She still needs to earn her stripes. (Probationary Sect Member)

• America - When her handler was killed in Russia, the X decided to send her to America. Now she has been assigned to the Construct in Prospect.
