MERITS

Mixed-Morph (5) - You find the art of partial transformation relatively easy, and make the required Dexterity + Primal-Urge roll at difficulty 6 rather than difficulty 9. The five-point version of this Merit eliminates the need for the Willpower expenditure (as well as reducing the difficulty); you can achieve partial transformation almost at will. GIFTS

Open Seal - With this Gift, the shifter can open nearly any sort of closed or locked physical device. Things like clasps may or may not be considered 'closed physical devices' according to the GM in the scene. Buttons, velcro, zippers, and snaps, however, generally do not count. The player rolls Gnosis (difficulty of the local Gauntlet rating).

Healing Tongue - The Gurahl can cure any wound they can lick, this can be dangerous if the wound was caused by acid or some other dangerous material. This Gift can be used on the healer themselves. System: The Gurahl licks the wound, if the wound is a place that is hard to reach such as on the Gurahl's back then the Gurahl must make a Dex + Athletics roll diff 6. If the Wound is in a place like on the back of the Gurahl's head then the Gift cannot be used. The player spends one Gnosis point and rolls Intelligence + Empathy (difficulty is the target’s current Rage or 5 for those with no Rage). Each success heals one level of lethal, bashing, or aggravated damage. The healer may even heal fresh Battle Scars in this manner if the Gift is applied during the same scene in which the scar is received and an extra Gnosis point is spent.

Heightened Senses - The Gurahl may vastly increase her sensory input for a short time. When in Homid or Arthren form, her senses become as sharp as those of a bear, while in her hybrid forms, her senses become preternaturally potent. This gift is taught by Wolf-spirits. System: The shifter spends a Gnosis point. The effects last for one scene. Homid and Arthren forms: Perception difficulties are reduced by two; roll Perception + Primal-Urge (difficulty 6) to perform sensory feats impossible to humans. Crinos, Bjornen, and Ursus forms: Perception difficulties are reduced by three; +1 to Primal-Urge Dice Pools.

RITES

Rite Of Talisman Dedication - The cost is one Gnosis point per object dedicated, and a shifter may never have more objects bound to herself than her Gnosis score. Certain particularly large objects (Storyteller's discretion) are considered more than one of the purposes of "cost". For the purposes of Dedication, an entire set of clothing is considered one item.
