- Chicago - Zane grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. His family was average middle class, and he had a younger sister. Nothing unusual, really, except for the fact that they were all loyal Spiral Kin. I suspect that's an important thing to mention.
- Zoo - He just transferred from the Chicago Zoo to the Prospect Zoo. He's an animal trainer and breeder, helping with the careful reintroduction of endangered species.
- Kinfolk - Zane is, in fact, a BSD Kin. He's also very proud of what he is, and loyal to the cause. He is a very social man, however, and doesn't walk around with any obvious signs of his allegiance.
- Sorcerer - He trained under his father, and now he's an able Sorcerer. He's a master of Shapeshifting, and can take any animal features at will, or transform into any animal. He's also begun to learn how to summon and use Hellfire.
