She gained popularity when she took a selfie of her and Ice T eating bugs in Chinatown. Her 2000 followers all freaked out and loved it. So she kept doing it. That eventually transferred over to vlogging and her own youtube channel where she wandered from place to place (with the help of sponsors) and tried out all the little secret places that tourists don't know about. Mostly, it's just little hole in the wall places where you can get REALLY amazing enchiladas, but occasionally it's that little place in Chinatown where Sheep's Eye Soup is a thing. The girl will eat ANYTHING.
