Born as Christine Nabhani to a wealthy and influential family. Growing up she never wanted for anything except something to challenge her natural intelligence and a family that give a damn that she was alive. One thing that did find in her teen years was a talent with computer this helped with both the boredom and lack of real human contact. Fast forward to 17 her need to be challenged lead her into trouble when hacked into the FBI servers to erase one of her online friends records. She got found out and then her family finally had to care when forced to try to defend her. They had limited success and the now black sheep of the family went to jail for 3 years.

After she got out of jail for once everything in her life was good until one night during a private poker game guns got pulled and violence ensued. She wasn't the target but got caught in the crossfire. With people fleeing and leaving her for dead she made a desperate phone call and Shea was there for her. She was given a choice to live and lose what she was, as Shea was once a mage herself, or die and be reborn as someone new. That night her old life end as she choose to be kindred and live.

It was months later after being nursed through her loss that she was able to start to learn what her new existence was like. Taught the vampiric form of magic while . As Shea requested Kirby would fight for the Sword of Caine as she does. She also learned the need for a new code of ethics, She still has problems with blind obedience and struggles with some of the higher ideals. A year later when she got to go off on her own she made a point to avoid her former Family(hollow ones) ashamed of what she lost. Staying in Chicago proved too hard and she set off for Prospect, CA for their call for magic.

So she knows a lot about the awakened world and can serve as a advisor for interaction with them. Avoiding them herself except when absolutely needed.
