Drop, Kick, Can You Handle It?
Sometimes life just happens, even when you least expect it. Leave it to me to be living a perfect life, balance, friends, fun and some hard work helping people... when everything takes a hard left. I have no idea what is going on, maybe I'm losing my mind, but it doesn't feel like that... It feels like I'm waking up. As though I've been sleeping in the movie theater, and now there are brighter lights, fuller sounds, so much more excitement around me.
But I've seen what happens to those that seek out help, telling doctors that they are seeing things, hearing things. No matter how beautiful, how articulate, how well that conversation goes... the person is always shut away, labeled, left compartmentalized, minimized. A lesser citizen. I won't, can't, allow that to happen to me. Never will they shut me away. I would rather die.
Still... I hear the bells so clearly. Like wind chimes or Corinthian bells in a garden, sometimes accompanying the laughter of children. It always makes me smile... if just for a moment.
Eroica Grayson is just now coming into her own, a late-bloomer, and how this Chrysalis goes will determine her future path. Right now, her life is full of clubs, dancing, electronic dance music, boys and girls both, and as much hedonism as she can get her greedy little grabby hands on. Her daytime is full of her nursing job at the hospital, running in her spare time, and making a meager living. But the nighttime is her time, her time to shine. The opportunity to live under the lights, the dreams of the beauty and angst-less dance club floor with people who just want to experience amazing together.
She can be found, most any evening, at Rhapsody or Babylon - the most amazing rave she has ever experienced. She's hooked, and she goes as many times as she can drag her other friends to go with her. Other venues include the Tower, where there is something for everyone in her little clique. Now and then they do show up at the Crypt, especially when one of her best friends has a hankering for a specific type of date.
If you've ever met her, chances are that you would remember her. She tries to be super nice to everyone, she is very inclusive in her conversations, the farthest thing from a bitch you might ever meet. Oh yeah, and she flirts CONSTANTLY, and with most everyone around her. She touches, she grins at them, she'll openly stare and lick her lips. The girl is oversexed so much that it is tangible and visible in her. But don't just assume that she's some airheaded raver that has nothing of value to contribute. Eroica might surprise you.

| Eroica is still blind to the World of Darkness at this point, everyone she has met has been normal to her, except for a few Fae that she has bumped into. Aside from those, she has no stereotypes to go on. I will add them here as she learns.

| So many new faces and people that she has met since her eyes were opened to the real world! Far too many to list, but these are her best-known, kept clingingly close.
Clay - whom has guided and taught her in that gruff and adorable way of hers. She is my claimed mentor, for I know no better. I seek her out for advice, knowledge and assurance that I'm not doing anything wrong.
Fremont - Coworker and one of the only 'normals' that I cherish and stay close to. We have shared strange and beautiful times, and for that, he holds a valued place in my circle.
Enid - though I don't get as much time to hang out with her as I'd like, Enid is a kindred soul. Someone that I want more of, need to learn from.

General RP
- Eroica is a nurse's aide at UCP Medical Center here in Prospect. She has only recently gotten the position, after receiving her NA Certificate. Currently, she works in the clinic under three doctors and four nurses, doing such tasks as in-processing, desk/clerical coverage, and report filing in addition to the aiding to the physicians during examinations and consultations. Finally, she does routine blood draws, sample draws and vitals, so if your character is in need of a physical, we might meet that way.
- This girl runs, and she does so at least daily. Five miles is no feat for her, and she can commonly be found on the running paths or the beaches, sometimes in a park, pounding the pavement with headphones in. She can commonly be found in the mornings, just before she goes in for her shift.
- If you haven't met Eroica, you need to. As long as you aren't a totally weirded out creeper, she is super friendly and inclusive, to just about anyone and everyone! She's very affectionate and seems to just ignore social discomforts. She invites the homeless guy to join her table full of friends for dinner. She grins at sharp-toothed images dripping blood. To her, this is all an amazing trippy dream!
Changeling RP
- Eroica has just undergone her Chrysalis in, of all places, Rhapsody, her favorite EDM club. She is confused, new to the culture, and desperate for understanding of who she is, where her world went, and why. If you are an experienced, nurturing type of Changeling, then she might just gravitate toward you for mentorship. But, beware world, she has been told just what she is and this has, in her mind, given her carte blanche for sating her addictions. It is, after all, her duty and role in the way of things. She's been told so.

Absent-Minded (Flaw)
This girl has always been a bit absent-minded. She is a dreamer, so when she has let certain bits of information drift from her mind, it can be frustrating and come across as her being rude. She forgets names, even of people that she is truly impressed by, if she doesn't consciously make a concerted effort to remember that name such as by repeating it under her breath while staring at the person. The girl will forget appointments, dates (well, rarely), tasks that are on her to-do list, and what she was just doing. Her mind flits like a butterfly, she is easily distracted from the task at hand, and can sometimes lose her point in conversations. It's her nature, it's not her being rude.
Procrastination (Flaw)
She doesn't hate work, it is just that she would much rather be lounging, stuffing her face with fruit or nuts on the couch, or just being out with her friends. But life demands payments such as rent, grocery and utility bills, so Eroica has to work, and she recognizes that. But she puts off all non-critical tasks as long as she can. If you ask her to bring you something, go out with you on some menial task, or sit through something as mundane as an office visit, she will drag her feet. She will sigh occasionally, she will roll her eyes, she will most definitely be wearing her headphones and trying to tune out as much of the boring as possible.
Addiction (Flaw)
Eroica is addicted to the hedonistic lifestyle. Read into that as far as you want, because you're probably thinking correctly. She goes home with people that impress her on the dancefloor, she is seen leaving with people that she flirts with, and no, she feels no shame in it. But with that said, the girl is not at all the typical slut. It is just a simple addiction to the sensations, the heightened pleasures, the experiences and to a small extent, the danger of it all. Just understand that there are driving reasons behind a lot of her behavior.
