I am composed.

Parts of a whole.

Rocks and flesh made two.

And yet I find it easier.

To identify my geology.

Then understand me and you.

My heart it beats.

My flesh it moves.

Yet opal is my skin.

I have pearls for eyes.

Blood when I cry.

And the sun burns like sin.

They call it Chalcopyrite.

The blues and brights.

That draw your attention to me.

But I stand with mirror.

And nothing is clear.

Iridescent as I might, be.
