I am composed.
Parts of a whole.
Rocks and flesh made two.
And yet I find it easier.
To identify my geology.
Then understand me and you.
~1~
My heart it beats.
My flesh it moves.
Yet opal is my skin.
I have pearls for eyes.
Blood when I cry.
And the sun burns like sin.
~3~
They call it Chalcopyrite.
The blues and brights.
That draw your attention to me.
But I stand with mirror.
And nothing is clear.
Iridescent as I might, be.
~4~
Why do you hold?
With your arms that are cold.
A woman, such as me?
