This medicine is actually a drug to keep the library dormant. If she is discontinued from using the medication, then the library is no longer dormant. If she can access it, Bieta cannot access it right now by just an act of will. There would need to be a thing or person in her environment that triggered information from inside the library. Bieta will not automatically understand everything she sees.
