- Chicago - Zane grew up in the suburbs of Chicago. His family was average middle class, and he had a younger sister.
- Zoo - He just transferred from the Chicago Zoo to the Prospect Zoo. He's an animal trainer and breeder, helping with the careful reintroduction of endangered species.
- Sorcerer - He trained under his father, and now he's an able Sorcerer. He's a master of Shapeshifting, and can take any animal features at will, or transform into any animal. He's also begun to learn how to summon and use Hellfire.
- Vice - He's an enormous fan of sin, and he gets along incredibly well with people who are free with drugs, alcohol, and sexuality.
