The Ballroom has been transformed into a celebration of the harvest with various traditions represented from all around the world. Giant boughs of oak are bent into arches over every entrance, huge sheaf’s of wheat decorate each corner, entwined with ivy, gourds and baskets of harvested goods from the wealth of the ground.

A table is arranged for those that desire to eat and drink mortal foods, piled high with baked goods, savory and sweet pies, bowls of punch, steaming cider and all sorts of good things to devour. Another table is set for Kindred with beautiful glass bottles from across the world, filled with the vitae of natives from each land. Also waiting there are beautiful mortal blood dolls, in costumes from across the planet, waiting to offer up a warm draught to those that hunger.

Upon the stage is a band all in costume of course, playing requests for dancing and listening. They vary from ballads to rock, jazz to hip hop based on what the audience wants.

The Game –

There are Five Characters in the game, speak to each and learn their name

Explore their mysteries and their style, spend some time and take awhile

When their secrets you have learned, a separate charm from each you’ll earn

Five is the charms you must gain, find them all and win the game

When you have earned all five charms please @mail madeline the answers to the five questions you believe are the answers.. first male and female to answer correctly will win a prize

Madeline turns with Shiori and smiles "Yuriko, welcome, thank you so much for coming. Hailee is quite right we've not had time to talk, please come in"

Shiori gives Yuriko a warm smile, "We met, sort of, at the Primogen meeting. I'm very glad you're here, and willing to support Miss Adele. You look fantastic." A pause, then she asks, "Would it be an inconvenience if I were to ask you to teach me how to wear a real kimono, one of these evenings? I have never had a chance to learn the proper way to wear a real one."

The band launches into some hot jazz to start off the night, not too loud, not too soft, just right for the giant room

Adele arrives with haunted eyes. She is not dressed in finery as many of the other party goers. Just the same old lunatic in her disheveled clothing and dark circles under her eyes. She moves in slowly.

The warmth from Hailee and Shiori melts the worry from Yuriko's green eyes, "Of course, Shiori-chan, I would love to teach you. When I going to traditional ceremonies in Japan, I was required to not only wear a kimono, but also the makeup and footwear like I have on today," she slowly turns in a circle so Shiori and the others see everything. "The only real catch is you have to do the folds correctly." When she sees Hailee holding hands with Madeline and kissing her cheeks, Yuriko asks, "I'm new to court manners. Should I do the same?" At the sight of the appearance of Adele, Yuriko concern is renewed.

Madeline nods as the band starts up and steps over to the door when Adele arrives, offering her hand to the Malkavian Primogen "Adele, thank you for coming, I've not seen you for some time"

Shiori gives Yuriko a reassuring smile, "It is not necessary. You should do what you feel comfortable to greet people. The three of us," She indicates Madeline, who goes to greet Adele, Hailee and herself, "Share Clan and are close to one another. So we like to show affection to one another." She offers Yuriko a bow, and it is pretty correct, even if Shiori doesn't know how to wear a kimono, "Bows are perfectly acceptable if that is what you are comfortable with. Or hand shaking. Nods. Curtsies. It is your choice." She glances after Madeline and offers Adele a smile, and a lift of her hand in greeting, though she doesn't run off from Yuriko.

The music is playing already and there are some people talking in small circles around the court. As for Hailee, she is with Madeline and Shiori is nearby. "You look beautiful, Yuriko, I do love the traditional dress." Realizing she was holding Madeline's hand still, she releases her friends hand and smiles, "We are good friends, we usually greet with kisses and hugs. If you would like to do the same, you're more than welcome to." Then Adele walks in and the smile drops and she looks at her with concern. "Adele," she says her name softly. "So glad you're here."

Adele takes the hand of the Keeper tentatively as she looks around at the festivities. "I did not realize there was a party. I am not dressed for it. Forgive my rudeness." She manages a thin smile. Her form shimmers and distorts as the power of her blood makes her appear to have dressed for the party after all. A long rennaissance gown in canary yellow. Her hair lengthens and styles itself as she curtsies to Madeline. "I did not know the dead still celebrate the harvest. Our harvest is in blood.... and flesh." She looks over at Hailee. "Thankyou," she says softly.

Madeline kisses Adele's cheek and smiles "Of course cheri, please join us and enjoy yoruself, no work tonight"

Yuriko relaxes thanks to Shiori's comforting words, "I'm glad, I did stop in at Sacramento, San Fran and L.A., but each was going through some sort of crisis so I kept moving, hearing Prospect had room for Kindred to grow in." The petite girl smiles at the cheerful words from Hailee, "Thank you, Hailee-chan." Then Yuriko's eyes go wide as she watches Adele change her appearance, "Sugoi..." then she rolls her eyes, "I'm such a baka..." but her expression does glow with a smile, before she comes back to Shiori, "My life is an open book, but what of you. Would it be polite to ask?"

The band is rocking to some really hot Jazz, and the staff is moving about the party, passing out drinks or.. a few of them are offering themselves as the beverage of the evening

Sharpe makes his way down to the Elysium dressed to the nines as always, but also appropriately for the event at hand. He lets his gaze drift about lazily as he moves into the crowd to mingle

Shiori watches Adele as well, eyelids fluttering, but she then gives Adele a warm smile. Her gaze returns to Yuriko, "Oh it's fine. I don't mind talking about where I come from. I was born in Japan, but was orphaned weeks after being born. I was adopted by a couple from Missouri, so I was raised in the United States. I ... was found by the night in Albuquerque, first by a Malkavian Domitor. He was Anarch. But then I became a Toreador by a twist of fate." She gives Yuriko an understanding smile, "I also travelled much before I found myself here. I like it here."

Madeline accepts a glass of wine from one of the staff and smiles, nodding to Sharpe as he appears

JD comes in from Carlton Pines Country Club - Elysium

Silas has indeed decided to show up. Gliving in and looking around at all those present. Getting a glass of wine as he moves as well. Trying to decide on where to go. Hearing Shiori's words does have him drifting some towards that direction. "Seems a lot of people traveled quite a bit before coming here." He suggests before offering a small bow. "Pleasure to see you again." Smiling and nodding to anyone else that are standing there as well.

Entering from the Elysium proper is Hifumi. Rather than the usual black she wears, there's a muted gray this time around. Well that's an improvement maybe. Ever a Tremere in manner and action, the subtle gray and white striped dress leaves plenty of room to move around in as she makes her way to the ballroom and takes stock of the scene. There's a long moment where she just looks around at everyone and everything. That moment lasts but a fleeting time before she continues inside and meanders around towards Shiori. "I hear that you were the organizer tonight. Thank you Shiori. It's a nice party." She smiles at Adele, "Evening Adele." Then a greeting to the others around Shiori.

Sharpe manages to find himself a glass of something that wasn't blood. He nods to one of the servers and then makes his way through the crowd to head over towards Madeline

Madeline steps over to kiss Sharpe's cheek then smiles as Silas and Hifumi arrive "Bon Soir thank you so much for coming" she offers, staying at Sharpe's side for now "Silas, how are you monseiur?"

Kori comes in from Carlton Pines Country Club - Elysium

An amazing looking woman enters with a confident stride and announces over the music "Let The Game Begin"

Character 1 arrives - Ayaba – This guest is 5’10 of dark skin and shining golden eyes. She is dressed in a stunning costume with a peacock headdress and golden costume that leaves a great deal of skin exposed. About her throat are wrapped multiple strands of beads, gorgeous cascades of crystals and beads also hang from her ears. This gorgeous creature strolls with confidence through the gathering, the scent of incense following her wherever she goes.

Shiori's gaze slips to Silas and she gives him a bright smile. She nods her head and offers her hand, "It does seem to be a theme. I think it is because we are all looking for the place that fits us best. Where we can thrive. I think it speaks volumes for the Praxis here." She then turns to Hifumi and says warmly, "I only assisted. Our dear Keeper, Madeline, is the mastermind behind our party tonight."

Adele nods to all the vampires greeting her all at once. It is hard to keep track. "Pleasant harvest to you all." Her face brightens considerably as Hifumi makes her greeting. She steps in to hug the Tremere. "Ahh Hifumi... good to see you are well."

Jax strolls in alone for the evening, taking a bit of time to savor the atmosphere as he enters. Not quite pausing in his stride, just slowing it some. He bows his head to those that his eyes may meet in this process, nothing more is given in greeting just yet.

Yuriko lets out a whistle as Shiori gives the curious teenager a thumbnail of her life, "That sounds like a real journey down that road everyone else doesn't take," she pulls out her fan from under her obi, holding it with both hands, "I'm glad you made it here, Shiori-chan, I hope we get a chance to work more together," she winks, "us Rising Sun Kids need to stick together." Yuriko bows to those coming by her and Shori, showing proper greetings.

The First Character in the game strolls about the room, golden eyes examining the party goers as the band switches songs - something rockabilly per request

Hailee declines the drink offer from one of the servers passing by and keeps her attention on those she is standing with. Yuriko is given a dip of her head as she supports what Shiori says in regards to her clan mates and the greetings, but as Adele shifts her mode of dress, she smiles warmly. "You look really pretty, Adele." She waves to Silas, trying to include him in with their clan mates and the others surrounding. When others approach, she gives a wave, "Good evening and welcome!"

Shiori gives the people she's standing with a small bow, "Please excuse me. I need to change clothes." She winks at Hailee playfully, and then turns to head for a side room, to quickly change clothes!

JD walks in with Kori at his side. He tips his hat in greeting to those gathered. His gaze takes in the crowd as the two make their way into the party.

One of the blood dolls strolls up to JD and Kori "A drink sir?" she offers

The stunning dark skinned woman with golden eyes strolls through the gathering

Kori wears a black dress to this dance, long sleeves and flats on her feet. On her head is a rustic little crown made of twigs and leaves- red and yellow in color. A silver little leaf is on a chain around her neck. She sticks to JD, staying quiet for now.

Silas turns towards Madeline at her greeting, "Ah, been great miss. I hope you are as well." A smile on his lips as well. Before glancing back to Shiori, "Ah, indeed. It also seem like I'll be sticking around here, so I would agree. This place seems quite like a good one." Spotting Jax as he offer a nod to the man. "Mister Jacob Xander, was it? Apologies about us not getting to properly speak last time." Giving a wave to Hailee as well.

Madeline takes Sharpe's arm and has him lead her over to greet Silas and then JD as they arrive, a nod to Hifumi with a smile. The hostess makes the round, making certain each guest is greeted warmly as the band rocks on

JD shakes his head to the doll, "Not now dahlin." his attention hardly even takes in the meatcicle as he and Kori wander over to Madeline, "Thankee fer have'n us ov'r ta yer pahty Madeline. It be dun up real nice like."

Jax smiles to Silas with an affirmative nod, "Indeed. Business has a tendency to interrupt a pleasant conversation. A full dungeon seems to have the same effect." a light chuckle given.

Hifumi hugs Adele back and nods, "I'm glad you're okay. Did everything go okay with brice? I assume it did, since you're here, but just want to make sure." She smiles, "So, you're primogen now? That's good right? And you got a great whip, unlike me." Then there's an announcement of a game and Hifumi listens for a second to the announcement. "Oh a game."

Kori smiles to Madeline, " Thank you for the invite, Madeline." She says politely, absently touching the charm around her neck.

With Shiori heading in for a costume change, Yuriko makes her way slowly around the ballroom, making her way slowly over to the dance floor, stopping there to listen to the band, her right foot tapping to the beat.

Adele chuckles. "I was fortunate to find a Malkavian as socially adept as Yuriko. You will find someone in time I am certain." She frowns when Brice is mentioned. "We have recovered Brice but...his face is yet mutilated. Such horrors cannot go unanswered but praise be to God that he is alive. This praxis would lose a great man in him." She looks over at Jax. "How many prisoners have you in your dungeon I wonder?"

Silas chuckles and nods to Jax. With Silas pushing up his small headdress to keep it in place. "I believe that you might be quite right, about both those things." Turning to Madeline, to echo Kori, "Indeed. Thank you, Madeline."

Madeline smiles and makes sure everyone has a drink then glances over and nods. Stepping to the center of room she nods to the band "Bon Soir mes Ami, thank you all for coming! I would like to announce the first entertainment of the night. Clan Toreador proudly presents... SHIORI

Jax replies to the question, "Fifteen currently. Two differing groups in fact. Some belonging to SIN, the others to TC."

Shiori comes onto the dance floor, meeting her dance partner somewhere near the center as lights come up. She is dressed very differently than she was a few minutes ago. The first moments of the performance start out as if she and the man in front of her are facing off. She sweeps a kick that he jumps, she throws a punch, and he blocks another, and as he's faked out, she jerks a belt off him. Then the music starts and Shiori is moving, body undulating gracefully. As the driving music builds, Shiori and her partner dance together, sometimes matching steps and sometimes playing off one another, movements down and driving. She slides smoothly under her partner's leg as he kicks over her at one point until he grabs her and slides her to the floor. From there she does two reverse rolls that show just what kind of core strength she must have. She comes out of those rolls straddling her partner's back as if riding him after he crawls between her legs while she's still rising from the flips.

Adele raises a brow at Jax. "Sin the gargoyle has prisoners... Who is TC?"

Madeline watches Shiori with a delighted smile, clapping along to the thumping beat!

JD turns and watches SHiori with a smile on his face. She seems to keep his attention as she does her dancing routine.

Yuriko grins wide as she watches Shiori and her male partner in their performer, the petite teenager is hopping on her toes, holding her fan in both hands in front of her, making cute sounds.

From the side, Hailee watches Shiori, eyes wide at the dancing. With a delighted laugh, she beings applauding even before the dance would finish, completely surprised at the chosen dance style.

Jax lets his gaze fall upon the dancers entertaining the gathering as he clarifies for the Malkavian, "Not Syn the Gargoyle. SIN, the organization sending ghouls into our city to steal away Kindred from ours. The same ones that attacked Mr Godelieve. TC is what the Militants call themselves, stands for True Cam. They are the ones looking to take Mr McCoy's ghoul, Kori."

Kori watches the dancing quietly, holding on to JD's arm. She tilts her head to the side slightly, unable to pull her gaze away.

As soon as Shiori comes off the back of her partner, she appears to 'help' him up and immediately flips into a handstand. Her partner catches her legs, and 'guides' her legs as she shifts position, dropping so that one elbow is on the floor and the other still raised, balancing. And then she's down and dancing back to her feet. She dances in sync with her partner again, down and gritty, fully committed to the dance. The duo dance through the remaining routine, with impressive leaps and moments down on the floor, attitude dripping. The routine ends with Shiori once more straddling her partner's back, two fingers lifted as she twists around, blowing across the top of her fingers as if blowing away smoke from a fired gun, and then she turns back, riding her partner off as if he were a horse for her.

Hifumi looks over at Jax idly, "You hold fifteen prisoners. Interesting. Though yes, who is TC?" Echoing the words of Adele, Hifumi is curious about them too. When Shiori comes out, she turns to watch the performance quietly. At the end, she offers a rousing period of applause for her. "Bravo Shiori." When Jax answers Hifumi nods, "I see."

Madeline moves happily to the music, clapping along as she delights in Shioris performance

Adele frowns. "True Camarilla? Is this another group brought on by the foolish blood tests? She shakes her head. It is then that she is entranced by the dance. She watches as Shiori and her partner grace the floor. There is some sadness in her eyes. Perhaps this form of entertainment brings back memories of other dances, of Adele the girl, the mortal. She claps softly when it is done. "Beautiful, she whispers.

Silas does look to the performance as most others are, focused on it for the time being. When it finishes he does applaud the dancing.

Jax chuckles a bit with Adele's questions, "Not even remotely." still enjoying the dance, "Their members have no idea about what it is to be Camarilla. Traditions are unknown to them. They barely know their own Sire. Some of what they say seem Sabbat like, in the way the group operates, but I am leaning toward anarch considering their cause." clapping lightly when the dance is finished, pleased with the performance.

Hailee is completely surprised and outright laughs as Shiori rides her partner off the stage. The applause is great all combined by the others in the room, it seems it's a success for the Primogen. "That was so amazing, Madeline!" Sharing the moment with her clanmate.

Shiori swings her leg over her partner at the edge of the dance floor to let the man get up. She tiptoes to kiss his cheek, and then she turns to wave to her audience. She then bows to Madeline and blows her a kiss before Shiori turns to trot back to the room she changed in before. No doubt she will reappear in her greenery and tulle soon.

Madeline steps forward to applaud for Shiori, calling to her in French, clearly thrilled!

JD claps when the dance ends he seems to have enjoyed the show he even laughed when Shiori rides the man off the stage.

Adele nods at Jax's words. She whispers to him as an aside before clapping for the performance.

Kori claps and smirks to the ending, shaking her head, her eyes bright to that.

Yuriko hops around on her toes, around and around, clapping and waving to Shiori, "Sugoi! Sugoi! Sugoi! Sugoi!"

The band lets the applause swell and when it dies down, it launches into a rocking Elvis tune

The servants move through the room offering beverages and in several cases, themselves

The stunning character in the game applauds and then strolls through the room heading for Hifumi "Good Evening" she says in a gorgeous accent

Vegard arrives without his wife, which in itself might be unusual. Neither is he wearing a costume, instead he appears ready for kindred business. He applauds along with the rest, only catching the end of the performance.

Shiori emerges in just moments, smiling broadly. She's once more in the corset of vines and ferns with the tulle skirt, dressed for the harvest theme. She has a bounce in her step, still on the high from her performance.

Madeline smiles and steps over to embrace Shoiri and kiss her cheek "That was marvelous!"

Sentinel comes in from Carlton Pines Country Club - Elysium

Hifumi listens quietly to Adele and Jax talk about the prisoners. Meanwhile she's observing the other party goers quietly. She doesn't have much to say for now.

Jax turns a brief smile to the Malkavian before actually replying her hushed words, "That is not very Christian don't you think? Personally, I try to avoid death if at all possible. There are better ways to dispose of such nuisances, without the need to dump a body."

Yuriko comes over and hugs Shiori from the other side from Madeline, "Madeline-chan is right! You are amazing!"

Adele shakes her head. "Perhaps you should go and look what they did to Brice's face. But you are right...perhaps not all are beyond redemption."

Correction, Hifumi has need to entertain a guest, it appears. As the apparent character one in the game strides boldly up to her and offers greetings. She nods, "Good evening. It is an entertaining party."

JD heads over to Jax and tips his hat in greeting, "Evenin Jax. I's hear'd yoos talk'n. Has ya finded out whut they want's wit Kori?"

The stunning woman nods to Hifumi and smiles, those golden eyes shining "Indeed it is" she answers, in that Caribbean accent

Madeline gives Shiori over to her adoring fans and steps to greet Vegard, JD and Jax

Shiori returns Madeline's hug, eyes closing for a moment and she admits, "That was so fun." And then she's getting a hug from Yuriko. She smiles in delight, and she hugs Yuriko back too, "Thank you so much. It's been a while since I performed. It felt so good!" She looks at Yuriko when the hug ends and adds, "I'm so glad you liked it. I wasn't sure about how it would be received, but I so love hip hop."

Jax nods with understanding, "I have seen what was done to Mr Godelieve. It is unfortunate. Some of the fault for his wounds rest upon his actions as well. Cursed they may be, still a mitigating factor. Though soon, the one who sent the ghouls will answer for what has been done."

Kori looks down to the floor as she listens to people talk around her.

Yuriko releases Shiori, nodding, "I took dancing to help improve my foot work. I'm a real junkie when it comes to dancing and music, which isn't surprising when you consider Japan is the culture dumpster of the world. People say its the U.S.A., but it isn't, not even close."

Jax turns a friendly smile to the Gangrel, "I have been able to learn why they are after Kori, though a full understanding eludes me still.

The interrogations will continue, and should be more productive with the pangs of hunger pawing at their mind."

Shiori, that was incredible!" Hailee's eyes are bright as Shiori comes to where she and Madeline are standing. "You should do it more often, I'm impressed!" It's definitely her kind of dancing.

Hifumi nods at Jax, "Or harder given the attempts to find food theh ard way." She shrugs. Her attention returns to the other guest now, "I take it the talk of pride and punishment is uninteresting. Where do you hail from?"

Shiori looks to Hailee and she impulsively hugs her fellow Rose. "Perhaps I will. That felt so good." She kisses Hailee's cheek lightly. Just the faintest brushes of a kiss. She then looks back to Yuriko, nodding her head, "I've heard Japan is on the leading edge. I would love to learn more about the country of my birth. I never had the chance to visit before I was found by the night. It is the one thing I wish I had been able to do."

Sentinel comes in lookng around. She is quiet and shy as always, and stands by the ballroom door.

The band switches songs to something with a swinging beat, inviting dancing

The stunning golden eyed woman listens to Hifumi and smiles as a question is asked, leaning close to give the answer quietly

One of the blood dolls approaches Silas "Good Evening sir, care for a bite?"

Hailee returns the hug from her fellow clanmate and Primogen, there's warmth in the embrace and she smiles once she steps back. "I look forward to the next party if only to see you dance." She leans in to whisper, "I am going to sing a song tonight. It's sooo not me, but I'm going to give it a shot."

Madeline kisses Vegard's cheek "So glad you could come Seneschal, where is Arya?"

Yuriko nods at Shiori, "I would love to talk to you about our homeland, Shiori-chan, I spend most of my time at Apocalpyse when I'm not doing clan work," she glances at Adele, "or other stuff."

Then Yuriko notices the waifish woman with black hair wondering about. With curiosity, the petite teenager goes over to her, "Hello there, I'm Yuriko. Can I help you?"

Shiori looks back to Hailee, and her eyes widen. She takes her clanmate's hand and gives it a squeeze, "Oh I know it will be amazing! I can barely wait now!" Shiori is definitely having fun tonight. Shiori spots JD then, and she smiles broadly, adding to Hailee, "Just a moment. I need to talk with JD." She starts toward him, the bounce still in her steps.

One of the staff steps over to Sharpe with a glass of what he likes best, clearly someone gave her the man's usual

Vegard offers Madeline a light smile, "Arya is handling some last minute business of hers. I'm sure she will be along later perhaps. Seems this is a wonderful party with mysteries and so much effort put into it, well done." he nods a bit.

As one song ends the band launches into a request for Guns & Roses

The Golden Eyed woman smiles after whispering to Hifumi

Hifumi nods at the golden eyed woman, "I was going to guess an island nation. That seems appropriate. Welcome to Prospect. We aren't quite an island, but I suppose it's all the same according to some jokes." She shrugs. Inclining herself to Jax and the Woman, "It was nice chatting, I'm going to away to other parts of the party."

She slinks away now, over towards Vegard and Madeline now. "I didn't get to thank you for the party Madeline. Thank you." Then to Vegard, "And good evening Mr. Torvik. Glad to see you here."

JD smiles and tips his hat in greeting as Shiori comes over, "Heya Shiori. Good job wit tha dancin'. It wus very entertaining."

The golden eyed woman smiles at Hifumi and turns to stroll away, if none stop her she may be departing

Vegard inclines his head to Hifumi, "Good evening to you Primogen. I am glad to see that you are here too. I hope you are enjoying yourself."

Shiori gives JD a warm smile and curtsies to him, "Thank you, JD." She straightens and bounces a couple of times on the balls of her feet, "I did it. I've made such good friends with my stray cat. She's quite sweet."

Kori stays pretty quiet, just taking all this in. There are so many people, she just isn't used to being in crowds.

"Tempting, but not right now." Is Silas reply before continuing to just wander and listen to those that have shown up. Being a bit more quiet than he usually is as he greets each new arrival with a small bow of his head in passing.

JD nods happily, "Good good. I be glad. It be such'a rush when it clicks in an everythin starts make'n sense."

The band rocks out to Guns & Roses then another request comes in and they switch to Buddy Holly

Jax chooses to move about rather than remain stationary, it is a party after all. Running into the odd woman out, so to speak. The golden eyed woman. "You have quite beautiful eyes, my dear. What may I call you?"

Shiori nods her agreement, and says, "It is. I look forward to being able to greet your friends properly too." She reaches out to touch JD's arm, "Thank you. You're an excellent teacher."

Hailee nods as Shiori steps off to speak with JD and she offers a smile to Vegard, "Good evening, so glad you could come!" As she notices Silas passing by, she gives him a smile, "So glad to see you again. I believe you mentioned before that you are Toreador, you should get with Madeline and Shiori sometime."

Agate comes in from Carlton Pines Country Club - Elysium

Yuriko moves to stand in front of Kori, the four feet six inches teen looking up at her, "Can I help you? This is a party, set up for everyone here to have fun."

Adele smiles to Shiori. "Remind me that we must talk about Vivianne after the party. I had sent you a message primogen. I don't know if you recieved it."

The gloriious golden eyed woman pauses on her way out and smiles at Jax as the question is asked. She leans over and whispers to the small man

Silas nods to Hailee, "That I am, indeed. I agree. They both are interesting people." He offers about Madeline and Shiori.

JD looks to Yuriko with a smile. And then to Kori to see how she reacts to the Malkie.

Kori looks to Yuriko, shaking her head, " I am fine, thank you. " She holds onto JD's arm, keeping him close. "Just taking everything in.. the music, the people and such. "

Shiori looks to Adele. She nods to her, and says, "We can talk after the party, definitely." She says pleasantly. "I received your message just as I arrived to help Madeline prepare for tonight, so simply haven't been able to respond yet. It has been a busy evening preparing." She gives Adele a gentle smile.

The glorious Golden Eyed woman leans back from Jax with a smile, waiting

Yuriko smiles at Kori, "Okay, let me know if you have any questions. I like helping." she moves out of Kori's way and makes her way through the party people, looking over costumes and nodding greetings to those she missed the first time around.

Vegard looks over to Adele and he frowns thoughtfully, "Miss Desault will be under the care of Leon Manx after her presentation to the Prince. It has been decided."

Agate slips into the room gazing around at those present. She swirls her umbrella with a grin as she finishes making her away in.

Madeline looks to Hailee and nods with a smile then steps over "It is a party you know" she says to those talking business.. can't we all just get along?

Hifumi nods at vegard, "It is an entertaining party, yes." She inclines herself and grows quiet as she goes into a quiet listening mode. At the mention of Vivianne, she nods. "I was wondering if that had happened yet. I wanted to see it happen. I recognize I don't need to, of course, it just seemed as if it might be amusing. Of course, I have other motives for wanting to be present," she pauses slightly and nods, "But yes, it is a party."

Kori nods and watches as Yuriko heads off to mingle. She breathes out softly, rubbing the back of her neck.

Adele nods. "Well and good milord seneschal. There is still aught that Shiori and I have to discuss. It pleases me to know she is being cared for." She drifts toward Madeline, pausing to whisper to Yuriko with a slender hand on the asian womans shoulder for the duration. She approaches Madeline. "This is a lovely celebration Miss Blanchard. Thankyou for your efforts. Others may see little value in an occasional smile but those are moments to treasure. Thankyou."

Madeline accepts a new drink from one of the staff and moves to the center of the floor as the band finishes their song. In the Silence a spotlight finds her and she smiles "Madames e Monseiur for your second entertainment of the night, Clan Toreador presents to you... HAILEE"

Jax, bows to the lady, "A pleasure to meet you, I am Jacob. How do you know Ms Blanchard?"

The golden eyed woman turns back to Jax with a knowing smile and leans down as a question is asked

Silas moves towards Shiomi, Not wanting to interupt too much, but at least offering a brief word. "A wonderful dance." He says before the voice of Madeline catches his attention as he raises a brow before smiling as Hailee seems about to perform.

Silvana is late as she makes her way in, pausing as she seems to be looking for someone in particular. She spots her target and begins to make her way in that direction. She smiles and bows politely to whoever Jax is speaking too before she leans to kiss his cheek "I am sorry, that i am so late"

The Second Character of the night enters, her lavender eyes glowing as she enters.. several may gasp as she seems to be.. naked?

2nd Character - Erzulie – This guest is 5’8 of dark skin and shining lavender eyes. She is in a costume that leaves one thinking she might be naked but it is a clever illusion only. Drawn upon her skin from shoulders to the tips of her fingers are mystical symbols in gold ink or paint, about her hips is bound a long skirt of lavender silk that falls in sensual fold to the floor. Heavy gold bands wrap about each bicep and her right wrist, the metal there flowing across her hand and wrapping intricately about her middle finger. She wears a beautiful headdress across her brow, golden links, shells and feathers giving her an otherworldly mystique

A smile is offered to Silas in response to what he says, then as Madeline introduces her turn, Hailee takes to the stage area with an air of confidence as she sweeps over to the center with a flourish of her costume. The music begins to play as she takes her place mid-stage. The first few beats sound like a calliope, the tune happy and lighthearted.. much like Hailee. With a smile, she begins to sing,

"Coin operated boy, sitting on the shelf, he is just a toy.. but I turn him on and he comes to life.. automatic joy, that is why I want a coin operated boy. Made of plastic and elastic. He is rugged and long lasting." A hand covers her mouth as she makes an O with it before lowering her hand and singing on with laughter in her voice, "Who could ever, ever ask for more? Love without complications galore! Many shapes and weights to choose from, I will never leave my bedroom. I will never cry at night again. Wrap my arms around him and pretend!"

Yuriko meets Adele in the crowd, her green eyes happy and surprise for a moment by the lovely hand at her shoulder. Then she listens to the whispered words of her leader. The petite girl freezes, her expression blooming and she flips her fan open and covers her lower face as Adele moves on. Clearly the teenager is hiding her cheeks but her eyes show happiness.

Madeline steps out of the light and smiles, giving her full attention to Hailee's performance as the light place across the beautiful young Rose

Shiori turns when Hailee is announced, and she approaches closer. She turns to Silas though, her smile warm, "Thank you." She leans a little closer to him, an she adds, "I'm really glad you're here. I'm really glad you think you want to stay for a while. I look forward to getting to know you better." And then Hailee is singing and Shiori's attention is on the performance, her smile growing with the song.

Jax is intrigued by the woman, "All or specific?"

The golden eyed woman gives her attention to Jax, seemingly pleased as a question is asked and gives her very quiet reply

Vegard turns his attention to the singing Hailee. His usual scowl fades after a few moments and her infectious happiness strikes even his dead heart and there is a faint smile on his features as she performs.

Hailee gives a goofy grin because the song choice was so off-the-cuff for her, but she seems to be having a great time as she continues. "This bridge was written to make you feel smittener. With my sad picture of girl getting bitterer. Can you extract me from my plastic fantasy? I didn't think so but I'm still convincible. Will you persist even after I bet you a billion dollars that I'll never love you? Will you persist even after I kiss you goodbye for the last time? Will you keep on trying to prove it? I'm dying to lose it.. And if I had a star to wish on, for my life I can't imagine any flesh and blood could be his match." An exaggerated wink, "I can even take him in the bath!"

Madeline has never heard the song, nor heard Hailee sing so she delights in both, swaying along to the tune

Silvana steps back as Jax seems busy talking with the lady and turns to watch Hailee sing.

the Second Character in the game turns her lavender gaze across the room

JD seems to be enjoying Hailee as she sings. He smiles and sways a tiny bit to the beat.

Jax turns a smile up to Silvana, "You look wonderful this evening." Taking his ghoul by the hand as he turns his attention back to the Golden eyed woman, "How do you celebrate great events?"

Silvana smiles as Jax takes her hand and steps besides him as he speaks to the golded eyed woman.

Silas smiles and nods to Shiori once more. "I am as well. Hopefully there will be a lot of time to get to know one another." Turning his attention more to the performance. Moving a bit to the music. Letting his gaze sweep over the area. Trying to offer nods in greeting to anyone he has yet to actually speak to tonight.

THe golden eyed woman glances at Silvana and nods then smiles as the question is asked, leaning down to whisper her answer to Jax

Shiori is swaying with the music too, her smile broad as she gives her attention to Hailee and her performance. She clasps her hands together.

Agate smiles as she wanders over to stand vaguely near Vegard smiling as she listens to Hailee's performance. Her eyes do slide around taking in the sights of the party.

The final part of her song now and Hailee does appear to be having a grand time with it at least, "Coin operated boy.. He may not be real experienced with girls. But I know he feels like a boy should feel. Isn't that the point? That is why I want a Coin operated boy, with his pretty coin operated voice.. Saying that he loves me, that he's thinking of me. Straight and to the point. That is why I want a coin operated boy."

The music fades off then and Hailee gives a bow with a wink, then straightens and places her hand over her mouth and kisses it, then playfully tosses it out with a grand sweeping gesture, before bouncing towards the side of the stage area and departing, her performance over.

Madeline sets her glass upon a nearby tray and applauds wholeheartedly, calling to Hailee in French! "Brava! Brava!

The golden eyed woman rises from answering the question and smiles "I must go.. the floor belongs to another" and without ado she drifts out of the room unless stopped by another's question

Silvana claps and cheers for Hailee as she finishes singing. She smiles

Shiori touches Silas' arm lightly, and then she rushes over th Hailee, clapping as she does with enthusiasm. She offers Hailee a warm hug, "That was marvelous!" She says lightly.

Vegard claps for Hailee's performance before turning and offering an incline of his head to Agate. "I like your umbrella and Ankh." he tells her with a brief smile.

Sentinel watches the performance looking very very confused.

Yuriko listens to Hailee's performance, but her concentration are on the words, trying to figure out their meaning. After the song ends, she rubs her chin with the tip of her fan, "Nice song, sounds like something written by Leonard Cohen."

JD claps happily when Hailee finishes up, "Way ta go Hailee."

Silas cheers for Hailee. "Woo!" He calls out with a smile. Glancing to Shiori, offering a nod as she rushes to Hailee. Giving the singer a moment to be greeted by several others. Spotting Silvana. "Ah, hello. A pleasure to meet you again. Thank you for your help the other day."

Agate claps for Hailee as she finishes her song before looking over to Vegard with a smile "I was concerned it might have been too modern culture for some. But it works. How does the night find you Seneschal?"

Jax smiles up to Silvana once again when the other woman departs. "It is a game. A game of questions and answers." eyes scanning the room for the next guest to seek out. When spotted, he makes his way over with his Princess.

Greeted at the edge of the stage, or just beyond it, by Shiori, Hailee returns the hug warmly, kissing her cheek. "You're right, it was so much fun! Thank you, I'm glad you liked it. It's a silly song though." She looks at the others applauding and dips her head with a playful smile, keeping close to Shiori, "Thank you, thank you everyone." Feeling the warmth of acceptance from her peers, she looks happy and content.

Madeline turns to Adele once the performance is finished and kisses the Primogen's cheek "Thank you so much for coming and for your words my dear, I truly hope you enjoy yourself tonight"

Hifumi offers up applause for the most recent performance being given by Hailee. She is quiet for now. The discussion for now seems centered on the party and she's said what she has to on that topic.

Vegard nods amiably in response to Agate, "The night finds me well. I'll be less pouty when Arya finishes with the business that called her away." he chuckles lightly at that.

Adele applauds Hailee as well. "Very nice."

Silvana looks over to Silas and smiles at him "Good to see you again, looking very handsome" She is then taken over by Jax somewhere else and she smiles "Perhaps I'll be speaking with you soon" she gives him a wink.

THe lavender eyed woman drifts through the room, nearly naked to the casual observer

Adele pages: You hear Adele talking to herself. "If love were coin operated I should be a pauper."

Madeline steps over and kisses Hailee's cheek "you were marvelous, why have neither you nor Shiori performed before?"

Silas chuckles to Silvana and nods, "I am certain that we will." He replies with a grin, before moving towards Hailee then. "Indeed she was." He offers, as he hear Madeline's words. Then to Hailee directly, "Greatly done." He offers, if she allows he will offer a hug. Then taking a step back.

Shiori laughs warmly, but answers Madeline, "Well. I really haven't had a chance, and it's been so long since I was in front of an audience. It can be daunting. I'd forgotten how much fun it is." She glances at Hailee, then says with a wide smile, "I think you will see more performances in the future."

The nearly naked woman with lavender eyes strolls slowly, almost regally through the room

Jax approaching the Lavender eyed woman, subtly bows and looks up to her meeting her gaze with a smile, "What may I call you this evening?"

Silvana bows her head to the lady as she stands besides Jax.

Turning slowly towards the small man and Silvana, Lavender eyes meet his and she smiles as the question is asked, leaning down to give him her answer

Hailee offers her cheek to Madeline, glowing in the warmth of the positive return. Or was that the blush of health warming her cheeks? "It was so much fun," she reassures to Madeline and bobs her head to Shiori, "We've not had a lot of reasons to celebrate and have a party lately. This is a wonderful night, Madeline, you've done us all proud." A hug is returned to Silas, and she even kisses his cheek, the exuberance too much to tamp down. "Thank you, Silas. What is it you do when you're not in court, the Crossroads or at parties?" Stepping back as well, she grins at Shiori, "I think we both may, and I'm looking forward to watching Madeline."

Madeline smiles at Silas as the four Toreador stand there together "Well we do own a theater i suppose it would be a shame to the ROse if we did not find occasion to use it in the future non?

Jax returns a pleasant smile to the woman, "With such stunning attire, what do you represent this evening?"

Agate nods to Vegard "Well I hope she isn't apart from you for too long." she glances around. "I've had such fascinating meetings of late. It is funny as a historian when I meet people who know so little of their own history."

The woman with lavender eyes smiles as the question is asked and again quietly gives the asker the answer

Shiori laughs in pure delight, "I agree Madeline. We have enough talent in this Praxis to host shows." She eyes others in the party and adds, "I know there are hidden talents, and some not so hidden talents, among our fellow Praxis members. I'm sure we could lure som truly amazing performances from some of them with a little encouragement." She looks back to the three other Roses, " Ithink we will have plans to make, yes?"

Hifumi smiles at everyone still standing around discussing the plans for a future talent show it seems. She offers them a wave, "I believe I'll step out for the night. It was nice to see you this evening." With that she moves to slink out of the ballroom and into the elysium proper.

Silas ahs, "I play around with music and entertain." He answer Hailee with a small smile. "I will look forward to seeing more performances from all of you." Turning to Madeline wiwth a grin and nod, "Indeed so. Sounds like it would be wise to use it." Looking around the room before grinning a bit. Then a nod to Shiomi as well, "Indeed."

Kori leaves with JD after saying her soft goodbyes to people.

Madeline laughs and winks "It is nearly time for me to go and change" she admits, moving to see those who have to depart and thank them for coming

Shiori smiles broadly, and she nods, "Just let me know when you're ready, and I'll announce you, Madeline." She then inclines her head to those she's with, and she moves toward the refreshment table, first looking over the choices in vitae, but then she goes to pilfer the desserts table, coming away with a couple of brownies for the moment.

Vegard nods to Agate, "Funny or depressing.. but then ignorance of ones own history can easily have them succumbing to the same pitfalls they never took the time to learn about. That said, not all have their clans history at their fingertips and the further back one looks, the murkier it seems to get."

Jax responds with that same friendly smile, "How do you celebrate great events?"

"Play around with music? Why am I not surprised? You're Toreador of course." Hailee says with a smile. "Maybe you could do something sometime as well?" SHe nods to Madeline as she mentions her own performance. "I am looking forward to watching her. You will adore her dancing, Silas."

The blood dolls make the rounds again offering this and that as the band strikes up another song 40's swing

Madeline quietly excuses herself to get changed

Agate nods "This is true. Though some large events everyone should be aware of. At least those that aren't newly embraced. It saves the embarassment of poking a clan that your own has had bad relations with." she sighs softly "I met the Regent of the Tremere recently. If he actually is the regent. I've never known one to introduce themselves as one. Fascinating city we have here."

Adele quietly excuses herself without fanfare. "Lovely part Miss Blanchard. I will see you again soon."

Shiori rests the brownies in a napkin, and drifts toward Vegard's position, though she keeps an eye on the direction Madeline slipped off. She stops near him and offers both Vegard and Agate a smile, "I'm so glad you both made it. Madeline has truly out done herself, don't you think?" She motions to indicate the party in general.

Jax continues to be entertained by the woman's replies, "That is lovely jewelry, where did you come by it?"

One of the staff leans over to Adele "I'm afraid she did not hear you Madame, please wont you stay for her performance?" she asks

THe Lavender eyed woman smiles as the question is asked and leans down to give Jax her answer

Silvana seems to be listening to the conversation that Jax and the lady are having since she is standing right there. Her eyes do look around towards the others for a few moment as to see who all is present perhaps.

Vegard nods to Shiori, "Indeed she has Primogen, though I must say she had some help with the assistance of the other Roses excellent performances. Looked to me like you enjoyed yourself." he offers her a smile. Then a smirk for Agate, "You met the Regent? He came out of the chantry? I'm uncertain if that means six extra weeks of winter or not."

The center of the floor is cleared away and the room begins to go dark but for necessary lights.

Once things are quiet a man in black and white costume and makeup steps onto the center of the floor - Madames e Monseiur let me present to you .. MADELINE

Silas chuckles and nods to Hailee. "True. I used to do such with an orchestra, though now I use a bunch of technology." He says with a small shrug. "I am sure that I will." He adds about Madeline's upcoming performance. Moving back a bit, but still speaking to Hailee. "So, do you do this all of the time? Sing, I mean." Though then Madeline is being introduced.

Shiori inclines her head, "I did indeed." She lifts her eyebrows at Agate's statement, and makes a soft sound in the back of her throat, "I don't think I've actually met the Regent. If I have, I didn't know it." She falls quiet though, when the lights dim. "Oh. Madeline is going to perform," she says softly and hurries toward the edge of the dance floor, clearly looking forward to watching Madeline.

Agate smiles brightly at Shiori "Excellent party indeed! I love the decorations and the music. I am glad to have been able to attend." before she laughs at Vegard's comment "Next you'll say that the Chantry is in the Praxis directory and you can send letters there." before she falls silent looking towards the stage.

The ballroom goes dark then strains of music begin and very specific lights come on. Madeline is there, dressed in a colorful corset with a bright pink skirt on, golden hair streaming across her shoulders. The look is playful to say the least. Surrounding here are 8 male ghouls in various black and white costumes, with matching makeup. The group moves in harmony and fun choreography through the familiar tune.

Hailee shakes her head and crinkles her nose a little. "I never sing in front of people, but I do like to. This was my first time in front of everyone." She hears the introduction though, about Madeline, and for the moment, she falls silent so she can watch.

Jax simply nods to the answer, inquiring, "Are you related to the Golden eyed woman?"

Adele pauses at the stairway. She was going to leave but she stays through Madeline's performance after all.

Silvana is still listining to what Jax and the Lavender woman are speaking about as she turns her gaze towards the stage.

The lavender eyed woman smiles as the question is asked and leans down to give Jax her answer

A blood doll dressed like Sailor Moon, the white magical girl fuku, the double hair-buns-ponytails blonde hair, the crimson knee boots, the crimson chest and hips bows, even the golden tiara on her brow and the magical wand in her right hand, this girl checks Yuriko's attention.

With a wicked smile on her lips, Yuriko stops the magical girl doll, "Oh, you look so pretty," the petite Japanese gushes at the blood doll who is only three inches taller, "I got to whisper something to you!" Yuriko opens her fan and places it to act as a screen, just as the nights go out for the performance. The blood doll's daze only seems to flicker, her blue eyes widening and a sigh from her crimson painted lips as Yuriko sinks her cute fangs into the girl's neck, drinking just enough to sate her thirst.

The tune is familiar but the moves are exaggerated, this is nothing anyone has seen Madeline do before, but she moves with the group like one joyful noise as the band sings

"I resolved to call her up, a thousand times a day, and ask her if she’ll marry me, in some old-fashioned way."

Shiori watches Madeline's performance, gaze rapt, and alight with pleasure, eyes wide. She rocks forward on the balls of her feet a little bit.

Adele tries to keep eyes on Madeline's performance. Attention is drawn by Yuriko's feeding, casual as it may be. She closes her eyes and forces herself to look back at the performance. Her expression is unreadable.

The blood Doll Yuriko tastes leans into the kindred with a moan and a happy smile

Silas does move a bit to the music, and how Madeline and the rest are moving on stage. "She's good." He says to no one in particular as he smiles. Glancing to one side and turning his body just a bit, stretching his back. Then looking back to the scene.

Every little.. every little.. every little thing she does is Magic, Magic, Magic!!

Passed from hand to hand Madeline dances with them, through them. The exaggerated movements are a thing of beauty and curiosity. The song ends with a light shining down upon Madeline in her costume, beaming happily with the mood of the tune. The lights go out briefly and then the entire company appear together with Madie in the middle to take their bow

The lavender eyed woman looks about the room and nods to Jax with a sensual smile, drifting out of the room if none other stop her

Shiori has to set her brownies aside for a moment, so that she can applaud Madeline wildly. As she does, she says to Silas, "She /is/ indeed good. She dazzles every time she takes the floor." Shiori then whistles loudly in approval.

Vegard is standing near Agate, speaking quietly to her as he watches Madeline's performance. When the song is over and the bows are being taken, he claps his hands for the Rose. "Well done! Magical even." he smirks.

Character 3 - Zaca – This man is at least 6’ tall and is dark of skin and shining onyx eyes, his face is almost too beautiful with wonderful bone structure beneath his skin. This is highlighted by gold and white makeup drawn in ritualistic lines outlining his features. He wears a dark turban wrapped about his head and festooned with beads, shells and golden feathers that seem to elongate his face even more. The rest of his costume is black kaftan that flows around him like a living thing when he moves. His bare feet lead him confidently around the gathering

Hailee doesn't really pay attention to the feeding, other than a brief, surprised glance to see it happening during the performance. Otherwise, her eyes remain on Madeline and the dance. As the group appear together for the bow, she applauds enthusiastically. "Incredible!" she calls out, proud of her clanmate. "Breathtaking!"

Arya steps into the room after Madeline's dance ends, not that she didn't see it, but doesn't interrupt. She claps her hands and then looks around the room, making her way through the room, greeting people as she goes. Some get kisses on cheeks, but she always ends up beside her husband, leaning up on her toes to offer him a kiss. "Hello darling." She is in costume since Madeline told her to wear a costume. Jax's watch beeps as the second woman departs. Checking the time with a sigh, "Unfortunately, I am not going to be able to complete the game." he says looking up to Silvana, "You may stay if you like, but I have business to attend to."

The elder malkavian's eyes are brimming crimson. She claps enthusiastically. "Bravo Senorita Blanchard, Bravo." A hand is lifted to her eyes and comes away with a blood stained finger. She turns about and hurries from the chamber. She makes a hasty greeting to Arya as she ascends too quickly.

Just as the song ends, Yuriko ends her drinking from the Sailor Moon blood doll. She supports the girl, while she pulls out a wide pressure bandage and presses it to the fang holes, holding there until it adheres and stops the blood flow. Kissing the blonde doll on the lips, she says, "You taste very good, sweetie," she gives the doll a pat on the behind, "now go over to the beverages, get yourself a big glass of orange juice and drink it. You need to replace your blood loss."

Adele moves to Carlton Pines Country Club - Elysium

Vegard smiles warmly once Arya arrives and he gives his wife a kiss and slips an arm around her waist. "Stunning as always my dear. You can pilot my craft any time you wish." he tells her. "So glad you were able to make it."

Madeline gestures to the company of ghouls and the band with a smile then steps away so they can clear the stage and waves to Adele as she departs, moving to greet her clan

Agate claps for Madeline as she finishes her performance. She turns and smiles at Arya "Good evening."

Silas does whistle and clap his hands as the performance comes to an end. "A thing of beauty, Madeline." He offers with a small bow. Offering a nod of greeting to Arya as well. Not having paid much mind to Yuriko's feeding. If Jax is leaving past Silas, then he will bow his head to the man.

The blood doll looks to Yuriko with adoring eyes and nods "yes m'lady"

Shiori steps forward to Madeline, hugging the woman, eyes bright, "Stunning! That was amazing, Madeline." She can't help but smile her delight.

Character 3 is a tall man of dark skin with shining onyx eyes, he strides with slow confidence across the room

Madeline returns the embrace and smiles brightly at her clan "Merci, I do not perform in public very often, thank you

Arya leans up to Vegard, obviously enjoying being reunited with him, though her touch of lips and cheek to his are certainly not overly affectionate displays. She pulls back to smile at Agate. "Hello Agate. How are you this evening?"

Silvana did clap for Madeline, though her attention falls to Jax and she smiles at him as she looks around again as she holds his hand.

Once the blood doll leaves, Yuriko pulls out a napkin from under her obi and lightly cleans her face of any blood, "Luckily this makeup is easy to clean," she smiles softly, "it is strange that at one time they used soft mercury as part of the makeup to whiten the face."

Jax moves to find the hostess after her performance before he leaves. A deep bow is offered before he speaks, "A wonderful event with such spectacular performances and intriguing games. I commend you on your excellence. I look forward to seeing you soon, Ms Blanchard."

Silvana leans to kissees Jax's cheek "Aww alright"

Madeline turns to Jax and smiles with an inclination of her head, still in her costume "Thank you for coming Monseiur, yes we will speak soon. I am so pleased you enjoyed yourself

Shiori gives Jax a bow of her head, "I'm glad you made it tonight too, and that you had a good time. Walk safe in the night."

Likewise, Hailee approaches Madeline and hugs her when she is free to hug, "Then everyone is missing out when you don't perform in public. You did so amazing, Madeline. So beautiful and talented." She doesn't monopolize her time though, so she can accept the well wishes of the others.

Sentinel smiles. "All the costumes and parts are beautiful. I do not know whats going on but its fun to watch." says the wallflower.

Silvana walks Jax to the door after he has said his farewell with Madeline and leans to give him a kiss.

Silas will offer a hug to Madeline, if she allows. Then he steps back to allow Jax to say his goodbyes. Though he does speak as well, "It was a pleasure to see you again. Until next time." He offers to the man. Then looking to Silvana with a smile and nod. "Enjoying yourself tonight?"

Jax returns the kiss and departs.

Madeline returns each hug and kiss, truly enjoying the evening. She returns Silas's hug and smiles "Do tell me when you'd like to get together with the clan." she says and nods to SHiori "A clan meeting soon perhaps non?

Yuriko is close enough to hear Sentinel's words, drawing herself over to the sexy piece of stone, "Evening Sentinel, I heard what you said," she points to herself with her fan, "maybe I can help you with any questions?"

The man with onyx eyes drifts through the party silently

Shiori nods her head to Madeline's suggestion, "Perhaps next week? Or do you think the next week would be better? Allow everyone time to clear their schedules if possible?"

Silvana watches Jax leave before she turns to look to Silas and smiles at him "Yes, are you?"

The band strikes up again, a rousing rendition of Journey

Sentinel is standing against the wall watching the procedings. She looks shy and confused.

Silas smiles and nods to Madeline. "I'd be happy to do it more or less anytime." He offers and smiles. Then a nod to Silvana. "Ah, yes, indeed." Raising a brow before leaning in to ask something of Silvana. Turning to hear Shiori's suggestion with a nod. "Either works quite well for me." He offers with a smile.

Agate checks her phone then looks over at Vegard and smiles before she taps out something on her phone.

Madeline nods to Shiori and Silas with a smile "I trust you to arrange it cheri" then steps over to catch Arya in a hug "Bon soir ma cheri, you look wonderful!

Sentinel looks to Yuriko "Yes, I think so." she says to Yuriko "I do not understand hte game we were playing really."

The beautiful man with Onyx eyes drifts past Sentinel about that time, following her with that shining gaze as he goes by

Shiori steps to Silas, and she adds for his benefit, "We usually meet at the theater, so you will get to see it for yourself. I hope we will be able to talk you into doing a performance too. I'm anxious to hear your music. I really prefer music, myself. But I love movement too, so I tend to go back and forth between the two.

Sentinel looks to the man and tucks her tail under her a bit. She watches him "Um. Good evening." she greets.

Arya slides her hand into Vegard's and then turns to look at the rest of the crowd. "Please tell me that I'm not the only one in costume," and then a look over at her husband. "And what was wrong with the one I got for you?' she teases him.

Silvana looks to Shiori as she steps over to speak to Silas and looks at him.

The tall man with Onyx eyes pauses in his step and turns to Sentinel as he is spoken to, eyes glittering as he gazes at her but no question has been asked

Vegard gets his phone out and he adjusts his hold on Arya as he sends off a text. "The suit was an excellent choice dear. It was my mistake not to bring it with me to the office. I'll make it up to you, I promise."

Yuriko listens to Sentinel's questions, "I'm new to being a Kindred, so I can only draw on my experience and knowledge in relationship to Mortals," she keeps her voice polite and in good cheer as she talks to Big and Sexy, "in this way, when people do parties, they include fun games as part of the entertainment. With birthday parties for children, there are many games to entertain as well as to give the winners prizes. For adult parties, the games can take on more meaning. The reason why Kindred include games in our parties, is because it helps us feel like we are still human, to keep our skills in imitating the mortals fresh. It is also a way for the members to compete against each other in a non-violent way."

Cedric looks around as he walks into ballroom, lots of faces he has not seen before yet there are a more than a few that he does recognize. Seeing how Vegard looks busy he gives him a low nod. He does look to Sentinel, "Good to see you again Nel, I hope all is all ok." He gives a friendly wave to Hifumi and Silvana.

"I believe those two go hand in hand." Silas suggests to Shiori with a small smile. "I am looking forward to seeing the theater as well. I am sure that you'll hear my music soon enough." He suggests with a smile. Turning to Silvana with a small small smile to her as well.

The band finishes a rousing version of "Don't Stop Believing" and by request shifts into an almost big band version of 'In the Mood"

Syn has made his way from outside and into Madeline's home. His strong powerful steps moves him towards the ballroom. As he enters, his wings fold in front of him as he takes a moment to look around than upon finding his mistress and Vegard, he walks over to them, just letting them see he was here before he walks over to stand with Sentinel.

Hailee returns from looking over the tables, making sure the levels of food and items were still satisfactory. Finding everything still good, she returns to the party and where Shiori is speaking with Silas. "What music is your favorite?" she asks as she hears the bit about his music from her fellow Toreador. Silvana is given a warm smile. "Good evening. I'm glad you're here."

Sentinel nods "Oh! Then the games soun like they could be entertaiing. I do not know how they wor but Im sure you need a guard for them." she smiles as Syn joins her and nuzzles him. "Syn. Hello. We are at a party. They are playing the games."

The beautiful man with Onyx eyes turns his shining gaze to Yuriko as she explaines the game but no question has been asked

Silvana bows her head politely to Cedric as he gives her a wave. She whispers to Silas with a smile before looking to Hailee "Good evening, thank you. I'm glad i made it too, almost missed it."

Vegard inclines his head to Cedric, brow raising due to seeming suprised to see him out and about for a change.

Madeline looks about the gathering with a satisfied smile accepting a glass from a passing ghoul

The blood dolls make the rounds of guests to see if any require a bite to eat

"I would not say that I have a favorite style of music, though perhaps specific musicians." He replies to Hailee with a small smile. Turning to nod to Silvana's words as well. "It has been a good party, so I am sure that you won't regret coming here." Swaying just a little bit as he hear the music, doing it almost unconsciously.

Cedric looks on as Sentinel walks off, "I guess somethings never change." He looks over to Silvana, "We have some catching up to do, on another night of course." He then walks over to Hifumi.

Character 3 - the man with Onyx eyes resumes his casual stroll about the room

Silvana smiles to Silas "I am sure that i won't" she turns to Cedric as he speaks to her and bows "Indeed, another night. Do enjoy yourself"

Yuriko makes way for Syn to stand next to Sentinel, her green eyes looking over Syn, her eyes taking in all of the powerful build. She turns to Sentinel, nodding, "I will see you later." The petite Japanese slips into the crowd, looking over her shoulder at Syn before she shrugs, "Well, the bride did have her mate."

Arya turns as she sees Syn walk in and then she gives him a smile and waves to him, cuddling up against Vegard. She smiles as she sees him join Sentinel and then looks up at Vegard. "Is there any music playing tonight that you will dance with me?"

Sentinel loos to Cedric "Im sorry I didnt see you come by. Hello." she says softly. She bites her lip. "Hello. There are many people to watch tonight." she says.

Several of the staff leave off delivering drinks to do some swing dancing to the song!

The beautiful Onyx eye'd man glances at the dancing but continues his stroll across the room

The band asks for requests and with a laugh, launches into something by PINK

Shiori retrieves her brownies and she takes a bite of one of them, drifting toward the edge of the party for a moment to just watch the party-goers with a smile. She seems pleased tonight.

Cedric gives Sentinel a small smile, "No worries at all, I am sure all of us feel safer knowing that you are watching over us." He then whispers to Hifumi.

Vegard offers Arya a gentle smile, "Now you know there is little I would deny you darling. If it's a dance that you want, then we shall dance." he takes her hand and leads her out to the dance floor. He is not a dancer, but he is a performer and it appears that he's had at some practice. Opening with twirling Arya around, he manages to find enjoyment in the upbeat song.

Madeline finds a moment to change back into her costume and smiles to see Arya and Vegard dancing, stepping over to the Toreador once more, "I think this has all gone splendidly. We've decided to have an event monthly is that not correct? Is Brice next?

Taking a moment to look at everyone in their finest costume, looking at everyone and seeing as how they were able to afford such finery. He looks to Sentinel, "Yeah, we can handle anything though." he grins as he flexes his claws.

Sentinel lifts her hea proudly "Thank you." she says, her eyes glowing in pride as she watches the procedings.

Agate smiles at Madeline "I think Brice should be skipped.. Or has Adele already helped him?"

Silas let Silvana talk with Cedric, with Silas just bowing to the man. Not interrupting though. Then as the man leaves he will offer a hand to Silvana. "Since you've been a lot of help to me, in my attempts to find places to stay and so forth, allow me to repay you with a dance." He offers with a bow.

Madeline says, “He stopped by earlier, Brice, he is fully healed and from what he said the... shard" she sighs "may actually be gone forever" she smiles and turns to Cedric "Bon Soir Cedric, thank you for coming"”

Silvana blushes to Silas and takes his hand at the offer "It was nothing really, but I would be delighted to chance with you"

Shiori finishes her brownies, and drifts over toward one of the servers. She plucks a glass from a tray with a soft, "Thank you." An she goes back to Madeline, noding, "I think it's Brice's turn, yes." She then turns a curious gaze on Cedric, "Good evening."

Arya steps up to dance with Vegard, but something is definitely distracting her and she can't do more than sway against him. Even his spin seems to trip her up and she laughs, curling up into his arms and keeping it all simple.

The band finishes the song by Pink and switches to something soft and jazzy as several couples dance

Vegard seems to have lightened up considerably now that Arya is with him and he simply enjoys dancing with her. Leaning down he whispers something in her ear.

Cedric forces a smile on his face as he responds to Madeline, "You are welcome, though I shall not be staying long. Thank you for hosting this party." He gives Silvana a nod then starts to walk off.

Madelines sapphire eyes dont miss the effort that smiles takes and she nods "but of course monseiur" and turns with a smile back to friendlier folk

Silvana bows her head to Cedric as he nods to her and heads off, she turns her attention to Silas as she smiles at her as he leads her to the dance floor.

Agate looks at Madeline curiously "How. Did he pass it off to a random person? Cause he had it yesterday it seemed."

Madeline accepts a drink from one of the staff and smiles at Agate "He said he was able to give it to his retainer, who took it out into the sunlight and cast it into a fire. Now that is something none of us could have done"

Agate nods "Which.. Would have done nothing." she shakes her head "It's not a vampire thing and made of obsidian. That explanation sounds more like the Shard itself talking than what actually happened."

Madeline looks to Shiori "It is what he said was it not cheri? And he did not have it with him" she looks to Agate again "Beleive me, I would have known if he had it on his person"

Darrius makes his way into the party area, dressed as he always is, and looks about at everyone around. His eyes find who he is looking for, his ex-domitor, and he smiles, moving to her and nodding to her. "Good evening, Miss Robertson. How are you this evening? You look absolutely divine."

Arya wraps her arms around Vegard's neck, nuzzling up against him and she whispers back to him, her head tilted.

Moving from Sentinel as she is in conversation, Syn walks over to Madeline and once she and her frineds are finished speaking, he bows his head, "Hello Madeline, thank you for allowing us to come to join your party." he smiles to her.

Agate hmms softly and smiles at Madeline. "I am sure he has a reason for lying to you about it. It is quite possible that he did indeed give it to a retainer.. To hide it from those that would take it from him."

Silas moves out to the dancefloor with Silvana before trying to move in a good rhytm and tempo with the music, whispering something to her as they start to dance.

Hailee listens to what Madeline says about Brice and the Shard, concern in her features as she does. "Is that what happened? When was it you spoke last to him? I saw him earlier this evening where he was at, and he said he was rid of the Shard. I chose not to ask how."

Shiori responds to Madeline, "That's what he said. And that it had not come back to him." She then turns when she hears a familiar voice, and she gazes up at Darrius, smiling warmly, "Hello Mister Reinhart. You look marvelous tonight. I'm well. And are you?"

Madeline sips her drink and nods "Well we shall see I suppose" she says to Agate and touches Hailee's shoulder to reassure her then smiles "Now.. we must begin to plan the next. Silas" she asks turning to him "Did I hear you mention that you sing?"

Silvana smiles as she steps close to Silas and dances with him as they talk quietly as they dance. She smiles at him

Seeing that the conversations continue, Syn watches and looks to everyone, he gives a slight nod of his head. He walks from Madeline and her companions and heads over to another wall where there is a large window. He looks out of it as he stands in front of it, his eyes taking in the many cars here as well as teh ghouls who are moving about taking care of said vehicles.

Agate hmms and smiles nodding to Madeline as she starts to depart the party texting someone.

For several minutes Yuriko has been sitting away from everyone at the party, sitting in a chair at a table, a small crystal cup of crimson in her hand, taking tiny sips from it.

Darrius nods and smiles to Shiori. "Very well, thank you, Miss Robertson. Been buys at the firm a lot more recently. Hoping that it might die down after a few more weeks."

Shiori gives Darrius a smile, and takes a sip from the glass she holds, then asks him, "Well, do you have a few minutes to dance tonight?" She motions toward the dance floor where Arya and Vegard dance, as well as Silvana and Silas, among some others.

Darrius smiles and nods to her, offering his hand. "Of course, Miss Robertson. It'd be an honor to dance with you this evening." His smile is warm and genuine, happy to dance.

Silas continues dancing for the time being. A smile and a nod as they move to the music.

Vegard leans over and kisses Arya's cheek when they finally finish dancing. He takes her hand and leads her off the dance floor, raising a hand in parting to everyone. "Thank you all for attending and for the enjoyable company. Do have a lovely evening." Syn is given a pat on the shoulder as they walk by on their way toward the exit.

Arya brushes a hand over Syn's cheek as they step away. "Spend some time with Nel tonight, dear. We'll catch you tomorrow at sunset," she promises and then walks out with Vegard, the longer in the back skirt flaring out as she moves.

Shiori takes one more drink, and then puts her glass on the tray of a server. She then turns to the dance floor and drifts out onto it with Darrius. She then turns to step into his arms to dance with him.

Silvana smiles as she dances with Silas wrapping her arms around his neck as they speak in soft voices.

Darrius moves with his ex-domitor well, seemingly quite practiced in the moments to the song, keeping up, though definitely not as well as Shiori. He holds his own, though.

Yuriko finishes off her cup of blood, "I wonder if this is what Jesus meant about the cup," she stretches and makes her way to the exit, stopping for a moment where Shiori is standing, "I'm going to head out, Shiori-chan, unless you would like me to hangout with you?"

Yuriko watches as Shiori goes out onto the dancefloor with Darrius, smiling at her new friend, giving a little wave before she turns and makes her way out of the ballroom.

Syn looks around and he smiles to Arya as she and Vegard leave. He sighs and nods his head, seems like he was along now and people were starting to leave or head out with others.

Shiori catches the wave. She lifts a hand briefly from Darrius' shoulder to wave to her new friend, but then her gaze returns to Darrius and she dances with him, smiling as she does.

And there was dancing. Hailee glances around the room and her eyes fall on one person. With a grin, she weaves her way over and with an offered hand, she curtsies, "A dance for Sleeping Beauty?" There's utter mischief in her expression as she asks Syn for a dance.

Sharpe is very good at becoming part of the scenery. He takes a sip of his alcohol and lets his gaze wander as he drifts through the party

Sentinel smiles at Hailee "Go get her." she says to Syn.

Darrius keeps moving with Shiori, moving with the music quite well, letting it flow through his movements as he spins and twirls with his good friend.

Syn shifts a little when Hailee comes up to him, he sees Sentinel not far. He blinks a little when Hailee asks him to dance. "I odn't know how to." he says as he looks to Hailee's hand. With encouragement from Sentinel he smiles and nods his head, and walks with Hailee as he takes her hand and letting her lead.

Silvana blushes at whatever Silas just whispered to her. She does glance to the othes before she speaks back with Silas. She lets him lead as she's pretty light on her feet.

Shiori says something softly to Darrius, smiling as she dances with him. No doubt when she was his Domitor, they danced a lot, which would explain their practiced ease.

Darrius smiles warmly and returns a remark, flowing back through the motions as he keeps up with her, remembering the evenings they danced together, her lessons imparted upon him.

Hailee had not been sure of his reception but as he takes her hand she allows him to lead her to where the others are dancing. Leaving them plenty of room, she takes position, one hand remaining in his talon'd one and the other, likely resting somewhere around his midriff. The five feet and a few inch Hailee would have trouble reaching the shoulder of her much taller dance partner. With a smile, she dips her head before stepping nearer, "Thank you for accepting," she offers softly, tilting her head back, then back some more to look up at him. There is warmth in her eyes as she follows his lead. "We don't have to dance fancy, just sway with the music if you prefer," a smile blossoms over her features and lights her dark eyes.

Silas doesn't mind leading as they move along. Smiling as he dances with Silvana. A bit of amusement showing at whatever she replies.

Silvana shakes her head at something whispered as they keep dancing. She then lightly giggles as she speaks back

Silas chuckles as he then tries to twirl Silvana before pulling her closer to speak again.

Syn doens't look comfortable at all, he does try to do what he can as Hailee helps him. He notices the size difference and he crouches slightly and moves form side to side. He's a bit bulkey when it comes to dancing though he does try to follow Hailees lead. He holds her hand and soon he just allows his normal gait to help move him.

Shiori twirls when Darrius spins her, but then she's back in his arms, dancing gracefully and easily, relaxed, continuing to talk quietly with him.

Silvana blinks and giggles as Silas twrils her and she laughs as she leans back against him whispering back

Hailee gives him a smile of encouragement as she notices his more uncomfortable look. "The Toreador," she explains in a soft spoken voice. "Making people uncomfortable since the beginning of time." There's a teasing lilt to her voice as she tries to make light of the moment and ease his worries as they sway together on the floor. "You are doing wonderfully," she continues to encourage, though she does look as if she's enjoying herself. "I know we've sort of formally met before, but you can call me Hailee. I'm Harpy for the Praxis. One of them anyway." The words are given with a smile, perhaps hoping conversation would help too.

Darrius smiles and speakd with her in return, seeming to be questioning her.

Silas grins as they continue the dancing. Nodding to whatever is said by Silvana. Dancing that causes some seperation between the two before pulling her back with another nod and whisper.

Shiori can't help but laugh softly, answering as they turn and drift along the dance floor.

Quirking a brow at Hailee, "We have?" he asks as he looks at Hailee. "Well it's nice to meet you." he says bowing his head to her. He shakes his head, "I'm just not used to dancing is all, something I'm not used to doing is all." he smiles. He moves with Hailee, falling in step with her and moving with her lead, he does spin with her as they move on teh dance floor. Silvana blushes a little at something that Silas says as they keep dancing. She is enjoying this because she is all smiles at the moment. Silas smirks as he and Silvana dance and talk, winking at Silvana. Then leading her off the dancefloor. Looking around to see how everyone else is doing. From the look of things, they have pretty good dance moves. Looking around a bit.

"Or maybe informally," Hailee muses softly. "I have heard you called Syn, so maybe that's close enough." A nod of acknowledgement is given in response to his reasons for being uncomfortable. "Everyone should have a little dancing and laughter and music in their life. It helps to keep them young." When he spins with her, she laughs with delight. "You're better at it than you might have imagined."

Silvana blushes at Silas and shakes her head as he leads her off the dance floor. She smooths out her dress a little as she speaks with him softly.

Shiori takes a step back from Darrius, but offers her hand to him, "Will you escort me home tonight before you head home?" she asks him.

Darrius nods and takes the hand, kissing it gently, that last little bit of Toreador shining through. "Of course, Miss Robertson." He offers his arm to her to begin walking her on to her home.

Shiori can't help but smile when he kisses her hand. She slips her hand into the crook of his arm, and starts toward the door with him. She gives the remaining party goers a wave, and offers, "Have a good evening," as the pair leave.

As most of the others seem to be busy dancing, Silas only gives waves to the others, as to not distract them too much. About to take his leave. Looking to Silvana, "Well. I believe it's about time for me to leave anyhow, so you can join if you wish. I could lead you home as well." Whispering something to her before stepping back and looking to Shiori. "Pleasure to see you today. Be well, until next time." Then he turns back to Silvana. Offering his arm to her.

Silvana looks around and takes Silas' offered armed as she gives a polite bow to those that turn "Have a good evening" she actually comments as she lets Silas lead her away "Thank you, that is very kind of you to offer"

"Good evening." Silas offers to anyone else that is about before starting to move out.

Syn nods hsi head, "Yes, that is my name." he says as he looks at Hailee. He smiles to Hailee. He does keep his focus on her as he is dancing with her or trying to anyways. "Why did you ask me when there are others who don't look like me to dance with?" he asks.

"Perhaps because the others don't look like you." Hailee tells him honestly. "There is beauty in everything and everyone. Most everything is a work of art." As they dance she doesn't realize they had outlasted just about everyone and the room had mostly cleared out. "So, my natural follow up question is.. why did you accept?" she smiles.

He shrugs, "I didn't want to be mean or show any mistrust." he says. "Plus you came over to ask me and..." he pauses, "I was curious." he says to Hailee with a smile. He still is a bit uneasy on his feet moving like this, but he is able to shift his position as such, thinking of it as a sparring session though workingon foot work.

That same smile remains, lighting her features as Hailee gives him a nod. "Thank you. For the dance, the trust and for the curiosity that earned me a dance." The music does finally end, that song anyway, and she drops her hand and dips into a curtsy. "That was incredibly fun, Syn. If I may call you Syn. Thank you for the dance and the conversation."

Syn smiles back to Hailee, "Any time." he says to her. He bows his head in respect, "Maybe we can talk again next time we meet." he says to her. He quirks his head to the side a little as he watches Hailee.

Straightening from the curtsy, Hailee gives him a friendly smile. "I would like that very much. If it matters or not, I think you're perfectly wrong," she tells him with impish delight. "I think you can dance after all."

Syn laughs, "Well I guess I can do something other than fight." he looks to Hailee and watches her for a long moment, "You have a good night." he says as he nods his head to her. WIth that he moves towards Sentinel as she is still here or he looks for her.

Hailee dips her head then lifts a hand so the crown won't fall off. A playful smile is given even as she departs and she looks back, "Have a good night," a wave to Sentinel, "Good night, Nell." Then to Sharpe, "Good night Stark, thank you all for coming." With her farewells, she heads out too, into the night.
