Who she is, how she reacts, and what she does is in any given scene is not because I'm irritated out-of-character (admittedly it does help to play her if i've had a bad day), or more importantly because i have some kind of vendetta against you OOC. It is just the way she plays, she is a Wyld-tainted being with no care for the consequences of her actions. She does not explicitly grief people just to be antagonistic, that is just her, and half of the fun I have in playing her in a scene is trying to keep HER out of trouble as much as interact with the rest of the RP. I try only to bring her on grid when I can justify that mindset for her (IE, if she is having a bad day because of a scene prior or what have you, I do 'downtime' for her.), but that doesn't mean things won't easily and quickly slip into bad situations. First and foremost I try to accomplish with Shelby is continuity and cohesion of character. That means I have little room for excuse if something DOES happen and I know she would react a very particular way, but that also means she will always have justification for the things she does.''' |
