He is a member of a pack named "Sleipnir's Charge." Matt, a/k/a Vidar's Might, is known for two things: (1) being an enormous mass of giant, ugly muscle; and (2) being ugly. His accent is hard to place, and could be Slavic or Baltic. He looks like the stereotypical Fenrir brute, and it's hard to place where he fits in his pack, as they all seem to be eager to break faces. Every now and again, he says something thoughtful or poetic, which could make him a Galliard or a Theurge. He refers to himself as a "Godi," which is likely a Norse term for "baby-eater." Rumor has it he's a big Shakespeare fan.

His story is somewhat tragic. Raised with the other members of Sleipnir's Charge, Matt was severely injured when caern-killers annihilated his pack and Sept. As a result of his injuries, Matt does not remember his life before the attack. He knows only his pack and their ways, and shows only glimmers of his more gregarious past personality.

"It is a melancholy of mine own, compounded of many simples, extracted from many objects, and, indeed, the sundry contemplation of my travels, which, by often rumination, wraps me in a most humorous sadness."
