✫ Gentleman: Alistair is an old-fashioned gentleman. He is polite and respectful to everyone he meets, unless they've given him a reason not to be. He defends the honor of ladies, and should you slight him, he will never forgive, nor forget. ✫ Vindictive: Alistair has a mean streak a mile wide, though it mainly only comes out when he's been slighted, or when he's in a bad mood. ...or when he's bored. ✫ High-Society: He's linked to all the wealth, privilege, and luxury of the high-society sphere, however, he doesn't appear to be a central figure, he just lingers on the periphery. ✫ Fashion: He really has some sense of style. He also seems to know quite a few people in the world of fashion and haute couture. He never wears the same outfit twice. ✫ Connected: Alistair seems to know people in all walks of life, but his friends are primarily concentrated in the High-Society, Finance, and Media spheres. He might make a useful ally, or a dangerous enemy. ✫ Old Money: He's from a European old-money family. They may be a bit of a train-wreck, but among certain circles, blood and breeding still carry weight. ✫ Commanding: Alistair seems to be able to get nearly anything he wants, simply by putting his mind to it. It's downright frightening to watch him work, and sometimes when he's bored or in a bad mood, he plays with people like toys... ✫ Damaged: Despite his standing and presence, it's hard to deny that he's got quite a few scars from his past, even if they're mostly on the inside. Sometimes, this can make him seem especially vulnerable or lonely. ...but maybe that's just part of his act, too?

generally it is the tortured who turn into torturers." - Carl Jung
