They walk in their sleep, guided through their daily, meaningless existence by an invisible hand. They can Awaken. They can write their own destiny and reject the whims of their creators. But when I look into the mirror, I wonder... Who am I to say that, in having done so, I haven't made everything just a little bit worse? |
