Karasu Hotsuin is a native Japanese-American of Prospect, his family, who immigrated during the late thirties to America, managed to settle in within Prospect and secure themselves a place of business within Chinatown before the onset of World War II occurred. Despite the events of the Second Great War, the Hotsuin managed to survive the events and thrived after the war by using their connections to export needed supplies to Japan and import exotic goods for the American consumer.
Karasu was born in the early eighties and grew up part of Prospect Chinatown, his family grooming him from his early age to take over the family Business. After High School, Karasu went on to earn his BA in Business, then went back to Japan to solidify the ties between his family in America and the extended Hotsuin family in Japan. While away in Japan, his parents were killed in an unfortunate car accident which has left Karasu as the new head of the family in America. Now back in America, Karasu has began making connections with various people of Chinatown, reconnecting with old friends, and making new friends.
