Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.
What profit has a man from all of his labour
in which he toils under the sun?
One generation passes away, and another generation comes;
but the Earth abides forever.
The sun also rises and the sun goes down,
and hastens to the place where it arose.
The wind goes toward the south,
and turns around to the north;
the wind whirls about continually
and comes again on its circuit.
All the rivers run into the sea,
yet the sea is not full;
to the place from which the rivers come
there they return again.
Vanity of vanities, all is vanity.

"How few there are of us that remain; how poorly are we remembered, become shadows of ourselves. Shall we go quietly into the night?"

"Some of your kind have done great things. Some of these things have also been terrible. Look to what was if you dare to know what should be."

"Such an odd little child. Such a tempting little morsel. I do not know yet if I will give you what you desire most, but we shall see. We shall see much, you and I."

- Legendary Bygone
- Almost everyone remembers Medusa, whose beauty inspired a god to defile a rival's temple with her and who brought down the wrath of a goddess upon her too-beautiful head. Fewer remember her elder sisters, Stheno and Euryale. Stheno, currently using the name Kalliste Grimaldi, is ancient. The world is not so large a place as to rule out the possibility of paths having crossed, even run parallel, in the past.
- Real Estate Ventures
- Those with their fingers in the proper pies might have seen her name come up in connection with some commercial development. Though the exact nature of the project is not immediately obvious, it's involved liquor licensing and commercial food permits.
