Ioan the Surgeon - In life Inima was from a wealthy family and she received a quality education from her father who was a surgeon. She showed a deep interest in medicine but because she was a woman of status she was unable to practice outside the family home. When she was 19 a fire claimed her family, their home and left her disfigured. Even in a time of great despair she saw hope and opportunity; Inima became Ioan and took her brother's place. Her brother had been an apprentice surgeon under her father, following their deaths Inima assumed Ioan's identity and sought a new teacher. Ioan's corpse stood in for Inima and she was presumed dead along with her parents. The siblings were twins and similar in height so the rouse was never questioned. The player has a saint-like quality that is hard to pinpoint but cannot be denied. The player is trusted, even if they are not trustworthy. At the Storyteller's discretion, the players tend to receive lesser punishments for wrongdoing, and they are liked by most.
