OOC: The player of Hazard would love Hazard to be a reoccurring villain in your world. If you are looking for an epic cinematic fight, Hazard just might be your goon. If you are a mastermind, Hazard might be the perfect pawn in your schemes if you need a blunt instrument. In a PvP situation, I'm not interested in killing any PC characters. I will opt for a narrative excuse for leaving characters alive if terribly beaten.

When interacting with the supernatural, Hazard has one belief worthy of note. He is absolutely convinced that Gaia and her terrifying minions will destroy all of mankind. He's not particularly worried about the Weaver, but Gaians are mythic beasts who will not be content until the world is purged of all traces of humanity. He's not a good man, but he is human. He MUST protect his kind. Capable of sensing both Triatic and Gaia influences, he's not beyond passing a tip to Pentex to deal with a perceived threat, but he's definitely not a company man. He enjoys his freedom. Or.. scratch that, he is a company man now. Life's a bitch, Major Vankova is a bigger one. It seems Hazard got himself in trouble with a rogue element of the government. Got himself captured when he was on a bender. Vankova's team busted him out. Evidently, he has some history with the major and now.. he's been reactivated. Hail.. Pentex.

Hazard possesses the ability to suppress and hide his powers. In most instances, he's just a really tall if somewhat cranky dude going along with his life. When provoked or threatened, he unleashes his bane and is abruptly transformed into a tower of bulging muscle with rhino-hide like skin. Each of his knuckles are topped with bone spur. He's fast, and he hits like a freight train.

Insert non-formatted text here Edward 'Hazard' Leeman is not a good man. He is a simple but selfish man who uses might and fear to acquire what he desires. A life of crime was his most obvious career choice. His destructive whims have made him the perfect host for his bane, and his state of possession and the powers it yields is the only thing that has kept this man alive through a very violent past. This tendency toward violence brought the attention of Pentex, in particular Acquisitions determined Hazard more then suitable for First Team duty and promptly had him acquired.

Hazard's initial career in the First Teams is not a shiny one. A general disregard of authority and a tendency for his command officers to have 'accidents' landed him in what was clearly intended to be a useful if but lethal way to utilize his powers. He was assigned to Major Zora Vankova. To her irritation, Hazard simply refused to die. He quickly established the record for surviving Zora's suicide missions.

Having initially been contracted to First Teams (initial attempts to brain bomb him failing thanks to a very determined healing factor), Hazard was cut loose under surveillance. In reality this was a loan to favorable criminal elements with hidden ties to Pentex. Hazard established himself as an effective goon. His ingrained hatred of Gaia and ignorance of Pentex operations made him a loose end but a minimal risk. This changed when he was abducted by a rogue element of the US military. He suddenly became a liability who either needed to be eliminated or reclaimed as an asset. Fortunately for him, Major Zora Vankova and her team of Clarissa, Dr. Ivanov, and Knox opted for reclamation. After a successful extraction mission, Hazard was returned to active duty in the first teams.

Joining initially with reservations, Pentex has been good to him and the military lifestyle is starting to get its hooks to him. His violent tendencies are regularly exercised on the lower-ranking Fomori of Godspite Company. He is slowly transforming from a mere goon to more of a commissioned officer role within the company often relied upon to maintain discipline in the lower ranks of Fomori.
