The barrier between that separates the material from the spiritual is naturally weak around Estrella, and it shows. Electric lights flicker, candle flames dance in strange patterns, static in radio and television signals will generation horrible and unnvering voices, barely understandable but easily read as frantically angry, anguished, terrified or eerily calm. Ghostly forms can be seen just out of the corner of one's eye and off in the distance, difficult to focus on and lingering only long enough to be noticed. Horrible vignettes and twisted faces will appear for fractions of a second on television screens, computer monitors, and even in mirrors. Shadows belonging to no one in particular have a habit of traversing the spaces in which she currently resides, and one's sense of distance is a bit fluid in her presence. When she is emotional, the world displays classic (if harmless) poltergeist activity: Objects fall or fly of of shelves. The room will grow suddenly cold to the point of creating rims of frost around the edges of glass. Cabinets, drawers and doors will swing shut or fly open. Candle's extinguish, electric lights fizzle and blow out. Objects levitate and meander about the space before remembering their enslavement to gravity. And finally: in the pitch darkness and with good eyes, a wispy aura of silver and green can be seen framing her silhouette.
