intro Laughs-In-Darkness was born in the dry wasteland of Zulu-Natal, a nation in Africa. He was born among the packs of Hyenas that roam the land, hunting prey with cunning ferocity. His Change came when a jeep full of Blacktooth funded poachers came, and the result was bloody on both sides. He wandered into the nearest, war-torn town in homid form, panicked and covered in blood. He was taken in by a small orphanage, which was built to house the orphans from the numerous wars that plagued the land. He learned to speak from them, and to act more like a human. The people thought that he was a feral child, abandoned in the wilderness. It was in this village that the other Ajaba found him, and he joined their harsh and hard war against the Simba tyrant Blacktooth, and his regime. He discovered his mate, one of the Ajaba kin, during the war. However, during the final push to destroy Blacktooth, she was butchered by the Simba's men. The Ajaba was heartbroken, and in his pure need to get revenge on her killer, he turned to dark spirits. Banes grew strong on the long war, fed fat from the hate and bloodshed in the land. He gave himself over to them, offering his loyal service in return for the destruction of the Simba who murdered his mate. When vengeance was done, Laughs-In-Darkness led numerous Fera packs and bands into Wyrm ambushes, and with every Gaian death he lost a little more of his mind. Eventually, the Ahadi discovered his true loyalties, and the man fled Africa. He came to America, a land rife with servants of the Wyrm, and has moved across the country, seeking the place where he can do the most good for his new, true Father. rp hooks Ajaba Tondai is one of the Ajaba, a were-hyena. In Africa they were given the job of the Garou, and served in their role for millenia. However, with the homids being patriarchal and the Hyena-born being matriarchal, they eventually fell to infighting. The Simba spread horrid lies about them, and the public misunderstandings of them as cowardly carrion-eaters did not help. Now the Ajaba have gained respect in Africa, as one of their own led the brutal war against the evil Simbra tyrant, Blacktooth, freeing Africa after decades of oppression and genocide. Shaman Laughs-In-Darkness, or Tondai, is a Dusk aspect, meaning he is connected to the spirit world. Before he fell to the Wyrm, he was dedicated to faithfully serving the spirits, and working with them to aid in the war. Now that he has fallen, however, he deals with banes and corrupted spirits. He is still a bit of a savant when it comes to knowledge of the Umbra and its denizens, however. Fallen In desperation to seek revenge on his enemy, Tondai gave himself over to darkness. He fell, and serves his new Master eagerly.
