We carve history From totalities beyond our grasp. Bolt labels on the result. Handles. Then speak of the handles as though they were things in themselves. -William Gibson,The Peripheral
A young man newly arrived in Prospect from New Orleans, Bob is recovering from tragedy where his parents died and he was left in a coma. He's awake now, but wheelchair bound. He had a Vet practice in New Orleans, but the city held too many memories. So he has moved back to his mother's birthplace, Prospect, and will attend UCP in 2024 to get a Ph.D. in Computer Science. Vet school was for his parents, though he loves animals and gets along with them well. Computers are his other passion, and he'd like to teach.
He's staying in a small family home while he goes to UCP to get his Computer Science Ph.D. He's always willing to help animals, despite not currently being licensed in California. He is for hire to do research and is good at it. He also can fix, or build, outstanding computer systems.
