The woman moved to Prospect for college and quickly met and fell head over heels in love with one of the locals, Alberic 'Aldo' Belmont. Jael was from a wealthy family and they were not happy with this. They were not really happy with her choice in schools, but, the girl wanted a change. When the couple married after graduating college, Jael's family sent her two wedding presents. A check for fifty thousand dollars and disownment papers. Cutting her off from her inheritance and ties to the family. Jael didn't tell Aldo immediately and well, he wasn't thrilled. Maybe it was nice being married to a rich girl? It put stresses on the relationship, but they stayed together. Much to the dismay of others. Then Jael started to get sick just a few short years after they married. The doctors were perplexed, tests couldn't find what it was. She started to forget things. Aldo being in the middle of all of it. It lead him to the church where he sought answers and eventually found that his wife was being possessed. Jael was starting to lose herself entirely. Until they green lit an exorcism. One that left her changed forever in ways that took her a bit to fathom. Law Enforcement Jael is a member of the Prospect Police Department and works on the Crime Scene Investigation Team as their Forensic Photographer. She has worked for them since she was out of college. So it’s a piece of her life that she had to get back after her incident. The department seemed to welcome her back once she was well. She tends not to talk about what happened with work colleagues. Sorcery Jael is a Sorcerer-Psychic and it’s something that she’s been learning over the years since her possession. Her mentor, Darius, has helped ground her and has been like an adopted father to her. He is getting older and his health is failing, so the man is trying to pass down what knowledge he has to the young woman before he dies.
