They are separated into families, each with their own unique abilities and purposes. Over the centuries many families have died off for numerous reasons. They are born with the ability to replicate Vitae within their systems, and they age at 1/4th the normal rate, along with other things. Brooke may be a Cainite now, but she is still a Zantosa. They were once a family bred to be beautiful and excellent in Court, and they were married off to the wealthy and noble before 'accidents' occured, bringing the wealth into the Clan. These days they are pure hedonists and deviants, and the Clan wonders what their purpose is...other then lots and lots and lots of money. Deviant To put it simply, Brooke is a deviant. She can come off rather 'slutty' to many, and she really doesn't seem to care. She loves flouting social mores and pushing and testing people...and she knows she's pretty and uses it to the best of her abilities. She is absolutely addicted to sensation, and seems obsessed with finding new pleasures, whether it be a new drug, an amazing steak with a new spice, or a sexual position. Revenants, on the other hand, are -never- normal. Many of them are, in fact, on Paths of Enlightenment without even being Embraced, which is impossible for a normal human. Because of this she knows the Sword of Caine backwards and forewards, and while she may be a Loyalist, she REALLY believes in the goals of the Sect. Being brainwashed from birth can do that.
