Kings Island Boardwalk

{{tab}}Built on a pier out over the water the Kings Island Boardwalk or the Kings Walk as it is known by the locals reaches out almost a quarter mile over the blue waters of the harbor. Day and night the Kings Walk is crowded with tourist and fun seekers of all ages enjoying the attractions offered. A large ferris-wheel four stories tall at its peak offers a fantastic view of both the pier and the harbor. Fast-food stands, classic arcades, and booth type games are abundant here offering several options for fun at the beach. During the day you are surrounded by blue water and at night a thousand twinkling lights decorating the buildings signs and ferris-wheel light the pier in a truly dazzling display.

{{tab}}Tuesday on the boardwalk. It's still in the morning, so there's not all that many people around. Fishermen off the pier, various workers setting up for the day. Idle tourists walking around enjoying the sights and, of course, the locals, out for their runs, their activities, and some just enjoying the sights. Clouds on the horizon threaten incoming weather, creating a darkened tempest that may hit ground and may not. A dull chatter mixes with the ambiance of the washing waves, the ripples of water, and the squacks of seagulls, looking for their next meal.

Silvana makes her way to the end of the pier after her morning run on the sand. She always comes up this way for her run. She has on some running shorts, a tanktop a little thing on her arm and headphones. She has like possibly a little fany pack but she makes it look good as she takes in the sight of the water below crashing in. She moves to take a seat at the bench that over looks the water after her cool down.

{{tab}}Amongst the crowd are a couple familiar faces, shopkeepers setting up. One man stood out but most likely was some sort of business man or tourist. Tourists never know how to dress for the beach. He's wearing a very well pressed black suit with a white dress shirt underneath, cufflinks, leather shoes, and black circled sunglasses. The glasses are perfectly tinted, able to completely hide his eyes from sight. (http://www.cityofhopemush.com/wiki/index.php/File:Leverage-Simon.jpg) He seems to have aquired an ice cream, carefully licking away at it as he approaches Silvana. Uninvited, he sits down on the bench next to the woman, far enough away so that it's not in her personal bubble. He crosses one leg over the other, raising his arm up and draping it along the back. He holds out his ice cream towards Silvana, gesturing politely at her headphones.

Silvana removes her headphone and looks curiously at the strange "Hello" she answers as she keeps her gaze on the stranger, she's seen that look before ever since some movies it's all the craze these days to dress in black and have such glasses.

{{tab}}A flicker of a smile plays across the strangers lips when the headphones are removed. "Hello Silvana." He says. He certainly does look rather well kept, but then again black business suits are fairly common. Maybe not so common on a boardwalk this early on a Tuesday, but common. He looks the woman over once with those sunglasses, continuing to hold out the ice cream. "Would you like some? It's bubble gum." It's droopy, having been licked already, but still maintains that consistancy that keeps it on the cone. "I've never actually had bubble gum ice cream before. It's not bad." He waves the cone a bit in the offer towards the woman. "I promise it's not poisoned. That would be a cheap way to do things."

Silvana smiles politely and shakes her head "No thank you, I make it a habit not to have ice cream this early in the morning, but thank you for the offer" she is very polite in her speaking and since he looks like he is a businessman she won't even ask why he knows her name since she has quite the fame in the business world. "You need to try the butter peacon that is rather good tasting" she looks around a little bit before she brushes some strands of hair behind her ear. She tilts her head regarding you "Are you new to the city?"

{{tab}}"How disappointing. It is rather delicious." The man brings the ice cream back to his lips, kindly licking at it with his tongue. It seems like it's a completely normal exchange between two strangers, or not strangers, the man resting against the bench. "Oh, I don't live here. This city is...revolting. I'm just in town to meet some old friends, be nefarious, you know how it is." He brings the ice cream back down, holding it out of the way so any drips don't land on his suit. "You know, you were the hardest one to plan for?" He asks, regarding her once more behind those glasses. "I couldn't exactly figure you out. The other ones were easy. One would do anything to protect her friends, one doesn't like to leave the job undone. Hell, the blonde was mostly just to fuck even further with him, but you, Silvana. You're much more difficult." He brings the ice cream back for a single lick, letting the silence reign forward. "You don't deal in money, you deal in secrets. In power, don't you."

Silvana leans back in the bench watching you again a little more thoughtful "You know, you've offered me Ice cream but have yet to offer me a name. You know mine but seems I don't know yours. I think that be only fair don't you?" she takes in your words a moment before tilting her head a little bit "I was difficult? Funny some would say i'm rather easy" she smirks "What others are you speaking off anyways?" she is full of questions but she is very polite in her speaking, people are walking here and there and security can be seen making their rounds all part of the day going on.

{{tab}}There is no sense of danger coming from the man, no precognition that he plans on actually attacking her. Simply talking, it seems. Of course, licking ice cream to. Yum. "Call me Simon." He offers in response, not entirely concerned about whether she knows it or not. "No, you were difficult BECAUSE you were easy." He offers as a clarification. This man talks as if he fully expects Silvana to completely understand what he's talking about, even if little of it makes sense. She brings up the topic of others and he nods immediately. "Others, your friends. I'm going to kill three of them." He brings the ice cream back to flavor the sentence with a lick. "Delicious." Simon returns his face towards Silvana. "Well see, there it is again. You don't technically have friends, do you. Just business associates. Dates. Men you sleep with for comfort at night, but then hardly ever call you back. How often has that happened?" The man shrugs. "Either way, I'm going to kill three of them. Are you sure you don't want ice cream?" He says, once more handing it out to the woman.

Silvana raises a brow at Simon as he speaks and smiles "Is that so? So if I have no friends then why would I be concern that you are going to kill three of them?" she smiles "So humor me along what three of thise so call friends are you going to kill?" she even puts the sentance in air quote. She shakes her head "No thank you"

{{tab}}Simon smiles back, his lips parting in a matching grin. His tongue darts out and licks off remaining ice cream from his lips, pulling the rest back away once more. "Oh, because I'm going to kill you too." He says, pretty clearly and obviously. "Just I'm also going to kill three of your friends." He relaxes back into the bench, turning his eyes to look off towards the water. "Let's see. Misa, who I believe you've worked with. Basilisk, who...you share something in common with, don't you. At least, a common community." He glances back to Silvana and his smile widens. "Velok, obviously. I mean that guy just deserves to die. And one more, but you don't know her. Just an old flame of your...buddy." It's his turn to put air quotes around buddy, his smile fading away. "I'm hosting a party, in all of your honor, to show my gratitude towards all of you. It will have cake and ice cream. Maybe even that Pecan ice cream. It's going to be a blast, I can't wait to see you there."

Silvana raises that brow again, her voice never changes from that politeness not one bit "I see" she looks at the water a moment then back to you "And just what are you exactly grateful for anyways?"

{{tab}}That's...a good question, and it's clear that Simon didn't expect her to ask it. "You know, that you guys have gotten together. He cares about you, which means it's going to hurt all the more for him to see your body when the life has left you." Simon continues to lick at his ice cream, but at some point he throws it off the edge and down into the water. "So you're going to come to my party?"

Silvana actually rolls her eyes "I doubt you have gotten much of your facts straight sir. I don't do parties, so probably not, specially when you have already ruin the surprise" she smiles pleasently at you before she stands.

{{tab}}Simon doesn't stand, instead letting Silvana stand up and following her with his gaze. "I have all my facts right, ghoul." He says quite clearly, that smile creeping back. He shrugs his shoulders. "You're already invited, and I'm going to kidnap you to bring you to my party whether you like it or not anyway, so there's that." He relaxes, looking back into the distance of the ocean. "You really don't have much of a choice in this. I just wanted to meet you first. Maybe offer you some ice cream, see what flavors you like. The party ice cream won't be poisoned or anything so..." He pauses, his eyebrows raising. "Wait...no it should be poisoned. That's genius. Thank you Silvana." He's not actually going to prevent her from leaving.

Silvana actually gives a little giggle at Simon's words "clearly not Sir" her voice never breaks or do her facial features give away anything that if she is surprise or not that he guessed that she was a ghoul "Well good luck with that, many have tried and fail horribly, just a fair warning" She shakes her head "So avoid the ice cream good call, good call"

{{tab}}Simon shrugs his shoulders, relaxing back against the seat. "You've tried to find love and failed horribly, so I suppose you know a thing or two about that too. But third time's the charm, right?" Simon smiles but still doesn't look like he's going to pursue her. "I look forward to seeing you there. It's going to be to die for." The man finally pushes himself up and out of the seat, straightening out his suit and glancing over to Silvana. "Any last questions before I go prepare? I have a lot of guests to invite."

Silvana gives a little smirk "Oh wow really? Have you been reading my diary? That's rather rude of you, I must say " she regards you once more as you stand "We shall see" She tilts her head "When is this party going to happen? You do know that you didn't answer my question about why your exactly grateful and throwing this party for us. So is this going to be a rather big party, more than four of us" Also Silvana does have Sense deception if he lies though he just seems to be avoiding not lying right?

{{tab}}No lying so far. This isn't a man that has to lie. Considering he's walked up to her on the boardwalk, offered her ice cream, and told her flat out he's going to kidnap her, subtlety isn't something he's going with. He fluffs out his suit once more and nods. "It'll happen when it happens, don't worry about it." Simon reaches up towards his face, as if he's going to lower his glasses, but the hand lowers back down and he nods. "Yes, I did answer that." The man bows towards Silvana, then turns and starts walking away. He can only get a couple steps before he stops and turns to look back towards Silvana. "You know, you really were the most difficult to figure out. I'm almost worried that if you did get killed, it wouldn't even affect Velok." He shrugs and turns to keep walking.

Silvana watches the man "No actually you didn't, you only mention Velok, are you throwing this in his honor to cause him pain?" she asks still watching you.

{{tab}}Simon stops, having only gotten a couple seconds. His breathing has deepened and he suddenly turns on a dime, facing the woman. His face reeks of seriousness as he stares directly towards her. "I'm doing this because I can't wait to see what it takes to make you scream. To see how far I can press you before you beg for me to just let you die. Then I'm going to record it, and send it to him with a piece of your hair." He's angry, getting angrier and angrier now. "And then, when he's mourning your loss, when he's wishing he could have spent just a little bit more time with you, I'm going to break him, and I'm going to FINISH what we started." The angrier he gets, the louder he gets, and when he reaches the end....the anger just disappears. He straightens up, his mood completely changing to one of happiness. "I can't wait to see you there. Wear something pretty." He smiles and turns, walking away from her.

Silvana seems to find some amusement in your anger "Really, and just why are you picking on him.. What is it about him that has you so angry" she points out and she does follow him as she keeps watching him "I think you're wasting your time and you probably should look elsewhere" She smirks "I always look good" no she didn't at all sound super conceited right there.

{{tab}}Simon keeps walking, though he's not looking to escape, so he lets her just follow along. He continues on his path, folding his hands behind his back. "A woman of many secrets, aren't you? What makes you think I'm going to share mine? You'll find out eventually. You'll just need patience." He pauses, turning his head to look towards her. "That's a big thing with you right? Patience? See it works both ways." He brushes away a hand dismissively. "My time is my own. If I want him to die, he dies, but you first."

Silvana just shakes her head "And now you run. Well your game has been awefully fun, but I must be on my way, things to do, people to see. Thank you much for the entertaining conversation" she blows you a kiss and turns to head off in a different direction that you are going "Don't be a stranger now" she calls out.

{{tab}}Simon looks back towards Silvana with a smile. "My game is just beginning. Make sure you follow along and try to keep up. One wrong move in this one, and you're out." He grins, stretching out his arms behind him. "I think it's going to be an absolutely lovely day, don't you." Predictably he dodges out of the way of the kiss, where other men might have revelled in it, Simon seems to be thoroughly asexual. "Yes. A lovely day. I can't wait to see you again Silvana." He reaches out with an arm and pulls his cuff back, showing a wristwatch that he taps on. "Don't lose track of time." With that he turns and wanders away, starting to whistle a rather eery dirge.

Silvana has already left off though his words will be told what she might not hear but a reply comes non from her. She continues on her run heading off to whatever direction she is going with her shadows of course always following. Everyone knows she has them or can has seen them before I'm sure.
