Johanna goes over the folder with all the information, and takes time to pass information around. "What do you all think? Start with the obvious Wyrm tainted ones? Or try for the lower rung that might be taint free?" She looks to Ildar and Khol for their thoughts.


Ildar takes the information in thoughtfully. He muses, looking at the list. "I'd like to get more information on Frankie. Unknowns are bad. We should verify if Robert is ok or not. We may be able to save him.. Do we know how long until they actually push this out? What's our working room?"

Ildar nods a little then. "Alright. Why don't you check on him online. He's a gamer, right? And we can swing by to see his place, sense and stuff." He'd grin to Khol with a small upnod. "Between us, we can get a good scouting done?"


Khol nods "I think we need more information, Before we deal with the root, I believe. But i will follow as you all lead."


Johanna agrees. "I would prefer to check on the unknowns to see if we can keep them from taint or not. May give us tips on how to deal with the known tainted ones." She puts the information back together in the folder. "Then lets go."


Ildar nods a little then. "Alright. Why don't you check on him online. He's a gamer, right? And we can swing by to see his place, sense and stuff." He'd grin to Khol with a small upnod. "Between us, we can get a good scouting done?"


Johanna hmms, "Yes, I can check in on Robert online." With that, she reaches to the table nearby and takes out a laptop.

Johanna taps away for awhile, going as fast as she can. "I have a bad feeling about this. Robert has not been logged in for 3 days. He last played from a cafe on a MMORPG. But looks like his character has been flagged for removal, his account about to be turned off. I cannot find any other presence of him outside of there. That is all suspicious to me."


Khol frowns "Well. that does seem odd. Has he logged in regularly from other paces before that?


Ildar frowns a little, but keeps silent, watching as Jo works her own type of magic on the computer. He shakes his head, looking out the window. "I suspect we're too late on him."\


Johanna tap taps some more. "He's never logged in from other places before." She nods to Ildar. "I would not doubt that."


Khol frowns "Can you access the security cameras from thst time in that pace. He sounds like a deliberate red herring."


Johanna checks even deeper. She is not some hacker, but it sure makes it look like it! "Well, this is interesting. I found him on the surveillance cameras. This Robert is not what you would think. He's a surfer type, long blonde hair, dazzling smile, very attractive. He is different than before. Not as.. well, a player? With the ladies. Like he just got some Old Spice. If you watch, he even went and hit on a girl and get her number at the end."


{{tab}}The picture of Robert in the file is nerdy, scrawny, bad hair. Looks like a typical nerd for lack of a better word. He has broken glasses taped together with tape, short blond hair crew cut.


Khol considers that for a long moment "Can you ID the girl? If you nreed to vsish a random girls apartment isnt a bad way to go. Or what do you think? Clearly his game has improved recently."


Johanna blinks as she keeps checking. "Ok, note. The girl is an employee of the cafe. I got a file on her, named Mindy Jinkins. Got a phone number. She has not been to work in three days. Maybe she is hooked up with him?"


Heading inside is Troy, hustling a bit as he lifts a hand. "Hey guys." Hey says as he slides out of a work shirt for the Hippie Hut. "Sorry for being late. Sahara had a rush at the end and the new girl panicked." He slides over to Jo, giving her a half hug, then peeks over her shoulder.


Khol nods "I think we need to get to that address. She may be in danger now too. My instinct is that Robert isnt an innocent in this."


Ildar upnods Troy as he comes in, listening quietly while they work out the details. At Khol's comment, he frowns and nods slowly. "You may be right on that. Let's get going then. Just in case. We can check umbral first to vet if they're just doing it or if there's more being done, right?" He'd stand up from his seat and flashes a smirk at Troy. "Guess you're driving then."


Johanna will take her laptop with her. "To the batmobile!" She is kidding, really. "I'll pull it up in google maps. You all figure out the driving." She will stand up and be ready to leave with them.


"Glad to be useful." Troy fist bumps Ildar with a laugh, then digs the keys out of his pocket. "Also, I learned that I can poke around in people's dreams if we wanted to do a more hands off approach. I can leap into their dreams and nudge them to think about certain things so it gives me some information, in case we want to do something more discreet."


{{tab}}The address is in the bad part of time, that part no-one talks about but everyone knows is there, this time it is a enchantment housing with an address of an apartment, she is not making bank, she is barely making ends meet. Single mother, 3 kids, 3 baby daddies a girl that is working part time at a cafe, to try maybe get somewhere better, but old habits die hard it seems. The building is broken down, the front door is kicked open from a police raid two months back, the smell of garbage in the halls, too many stairs in that filth to be healthy. She lives at the top, in 501 now the crew is standing outside.


Looking up at the building, Troy unbuttons the top of his shirt a bit to show off some of his muscular chest. He -is- pretty after all. "Definitely should not use the elevator if they even got one. I'll be right back, I'm gonna do a quick circle, put eyes on the fire escapes and just make sure I may have an exit." He says with a grin as he starts off for a quick circling.


Taking a breath, Ildar mentally braces himself, preparing for the worse as he knows it's coming. He'd focus on that mirror, getting himself to that other side and immediately setting up those gifts to help protect him there.



'''Reality'''

{{tab}}The building is worse the closer you get the smell, of death and decay that smell that seems to hang around places with no hope. A few people on the side of the building lying there with arms down, needles in their arms in two of them and the other two throwing them with a class. The sound of crashing glass under your feet, and then you are circling all the exits are boarded or padlocked. Most of the alleys over flowing with trash and that smell of it filling your nose.


Khol keeps his expression neutral, but his head is up and alert, He will see about sending some general help to the area later, but for now, he is strategically scoping the place out, choke points, Tactically advantageous and disadvantaged routes, fall back points and crossfire risks.


As he walks along the building, Troy's eyes give a glance over towards the people who are hurting themselves with more and more continued use of poison in their veins. He feels his heart pound in his chest as his lifesaver instincts yearn to protect them. He bumps his shoulder into Khol's gently as they walk, seeking comfort in his packmate's presence. Focus. His eyes roam for the fire escapes to see how far they climb.


{{tab}}They are broke down, the only way in and out is going to be the main door. It has by accident or on purpose been turned into a fortress of sin and vice.


Giving a nod of his head to Khol once his eyes refocus, Troy makes his way into the building, then sticks close to the kin as they will have to travel five flights of stairs. Luckily, Garou rage should cause most people to give them space.


Khol follows Troy his calming presence easy to ignore, but he doesn't try to lead. Just watching Troys back.


{{tab}}Your inside of the main lobby, it smells like death in here, the elevator door is open with an out of order sign on it, and that smell of it all is greater here. There is trashed shoved into the shaft itself as if someone is sleeping in there. There are stairs leading up with a rusted broken rail, and a few passed out bums lying on it.


Khol reaches out and touches Troys shoulder, "Up. Where the others are. Fast." and he picks up the pace, taking the lead if he must, his breathing controlled as he speaks softly, even as he runs "An Alien, Hostile mind is aware of us up there."


Giving a nod of his head, Troy will move quickly up the stairs as well, dodging and ducking around sleeping bums. << On it >> He hums through the packlink.


Khol is quiet now except for the slapping of his running feet as he races up to the girls room.


{{tab}}As the door is open you see the girl is dead on the bed, her inside torn open and he was eating them raw, with big scoops using his hands. As you look on the floor the man from the video is there Robert, his hands stained with the blood of his victim. it seems he was in the middle of his task when it happened to him, covered in wounds leaking a black blood, that is pooling on the floor around his newly murder corpse.


Closing the door behind them so not to draw attention, Troy grits his teeth and starts to search for wallets and ID's. "Search the place, get paperwork, files, anything you think you can find." He calls over to the kin.

That was the first mistake of the evening if one wished to hold lunch, or sanity or hope for humanity. There are no wallets id, money, paper anything that will help. But at the end of a short hall is a door, that reeks of blood and guts on the other side. On the door is a unicorn, it seems this was the only bedroom here.


Khol doesn't care about wallets, He speaks in a calm voice "Children, We are here to help. " He will open the door to the bedroom "We don't want to hurt you."


".. Khol.. step back. Let me go in." Troy says in a quivering voice as he nudges the kinfolk to the side as he steps in behind him. "I.. I've seen this before. Just wait.. please.."


{{tab}}Inside is a mess of blood, guts, covering the room it seems this is where he started his feast. The walls stained crismon red and the sheets coated, it is not something a sane man would do. Bites out of the torsos, with this much damage one cant' even tell the age of the children but from the picture on the vanity 10 and 7. A boy and girl with happy little faces in broken down cheap clothing, and a toys now stained very very red.



'''Umbra'''

{{tab}}The umbra is nasty here black icky and cover like a soup, in the middle where the building is there is a giant syringe with people moving around it, dancing with a chanting, it is a den of heroin, drug addiction, hate, violence, sex, all of the sin of humanity in one place. The sound of a screaming of pleasure, pain mixed. There is a large black figure standing at the top with red eyes glaring down at you, as he grins the teeth are needles, his hand is lifted with a razor attached.


Johanna will join in with Ildar to cross over into the Umbra. She prepares for it by activating resist pain, and takes Ildar's hand. Once they cross over she looks around. "Yes, just as bad as I was afraid of. It looks bad."


Shifting now that they're on the umbra, Ildar would look about with a muted growl. <<Bad. I grew up in this mess. Gaia, how'd I get out of this sane or whole?>> He'd snort a little, then nods to the building. <<Shall we stalk, Hushed-Blaze-Rhya?>> He was of course, on edge. Ready for what might come at them. They're in the den of evil. To not be on alert would be stupid.


Johanna will shift as well, as this is not a place for a homid to be running around. Fluidly shifting along with her pack mate, she chuffs >> Yes. Let's go for it. <<


{{tab}}The syringe is horrible, it is smells of death blood, hatred, and joy of the banes watching it all, as they enter it now they can feel they are urging them on, doing more and more sin. The touch is toxic to the mind, to the sense, but they are too distracted by all of this to notice the warriors of Gaia, coming through and then they are at the top of it, there is a stairs leading up to the floors. Each one is marked with a odd black tar, but it moves out of the way as they pass through in the top floor where her room would be is a large man with a wicked smile. In his hands is her corpse eating it now with large bites, if they didn't know better it is there target.


Starchaser tries not to make a sound, but her sadness and disgust for what they are seeing is obvious in the building snarl in her throat. She will look to Ildar and nod as if to signal that they need to dispose of this terrible thing here and now.


{{tab}}Everything is lights up like a black rainbow purple reds, blues all of them at the front of the syringe, with a new sign appearing high up. "NEW VICTIMS, It's SHOWTIME!"


Ildar knows how to stalk. Although the messenger knows how to get in better and silent. Either way, they'd stalk up those stairs, keeping alert of the surroundings. He eyes the.. thing.. that seems to be eating her. ~Do I shoot it?~ Would be the mental touch across that pack link. He'd edge for the bandoleer across his chest, a few knives hanging there, readied for throwing of course. At the signal, he nods in return and with a throw, and a giving of power, change that one blade into a dozen, all aimed for the thing!

HK growls low in his throat at the sign going off from the others showing up. Before the thing could move, he'd pulled three of those blades from that bandoleer across his chest and threw them. That first one suddenly being a dozen thrown at once to pound into the thing, slamming it backwards with the metal jutting out of it grotesquely. He grunts, not quite throwing the next as he'd wait, ready for the reaction.


{{tab}}The figure is going towards the elevator shaft behind them in the real world, not use it's new form as it staggers forward it roars at them, and then it is hit with all those knives from Honor's Keeper as he stumbles back with a squeal of pain and shock, but it is done for the ever. One dead monster hiding inside human flesh.  


Starchaser moves up along the thing, and is ready with claws in case it does rise up. She chuffs >> Good job. << Still looking around to see if they find anything else.


HK nods slightly, keeping ready in case anything drops in for it's buddy. The blade, the original blade, is carefully pulled from the body, so that he can cleanse it. He goes on edge as Troy seems to be having issues.


Starchaser blinks and tenses up. Her eyes move to Honor's Keeper, as they are thinking and worried for the same thing. >> Anything more to check? They need us meat side I think. <<



'''Back together - Reality'''


Openly sobbing, Troy holds a hand up to his mouth, his body trembling. He grinds his back teeth together, then turns and slams his fist into the wall, cracking the plaster. He pulls his fist back, then slams it home again, letting out a loud, strangled scream in his throat. "Fuck." He hisses out of his throat.


HK shakes his head. <<Shift and go. We don't want to pop out bad. Just in case.>> Taking his own advise, Ildar would shift to that humanoid form, then use that blade he held to shift from umbral to normal world again. Crouched low behind a piece of furniture to help mask if he was coming across. Standing up slowly, he didn't sheathe either blade as he'd peer at what was going on.


{{tab}}The pack is together again for better or worse in the apartment of the woman. Her corpse is on the couch parts of her ripped out with bear hands and the man that did it Robert is on the ground dead. Holes in his chest and leg's leaking blood and there in the back of the hall is a loud scream of Fuck, it seems trouble in back that way.


Johanna nods and does as Honor's Keeper suggests, and crosses over with him. Once they arrive, she stands up and is alert, turning toward that sound. "Nothing good is going to come of this place."


Khol moves slowly, careful not to touch any of the filth. Looking for any clues " I could look back at the events. " he shakes his head nothing will come of that though. this stain will damage this place for a long time to come, so much evil. Even if their spirits do rest. The place will remember."


Standing in the room, Troy stops punching the wall long enough to wipe at his face, giving a loud, wet sniff. He looks miserable as he pulls bed sheets over the two bodies to cover them. "I don't want to be in here anymore."


Ildar goes stone still a moment, staring at the scene. Shaking his head, he'd pull back, turning away to head over for Troy. A hand goes for his shoulder. "We fight to try to stop this brother. Keep that in mind. Keep that in focus." Looking to the others, he shakes his head a little. "We need to go. We're last seen with them dead. So we need to get out, before there's trouble."


Johanna goes to Troy and offers a hug. "Come now. We will make it right for them, and stop what set this off. Honor their memories, and then sing later to remember them. We will get their spirits at rest. Let's focus on the goal."


Troy leans into his two packmates to seek out a bit of comfort from them. "We searched the place and didn't find anything." He says with a grunt. "No other clues in the apartment."


Khol turns once he is sure there is no needed information or evidence let here, and quietly closes the door behind him.
