This code was originally worked out by Xiu's player and is being posted with their permission.
By installing this code you can have your +finger not display your short desc but have it work via +glance.
&short-desc me=[if(strmatch(%#,#7),{<your preferred short description>},Come closer! +glance only.)]
The result is that in +finger you get "Come Closer! +glance only." and +glance will show <your preferred short description>.
