[The scene opens in a barber shop. It appears to be a modern shop, but there are quite a few throwbacks including an old barber pole outside, the older style barber chairs, and customers getting shaved with a hot towel and a sharp edge blade. The camera pans various chairs and a familar face comes into the angle. It is Hayden Phoenix, with the apron wrapped around him. The barber standing behind him have a pair of scissors in his hands as it appears that Hayden is getting a haircut]

[Barber] - The usual?

[Phoenix] - Nah, let's cut it off.

[Barber] - How much? One inch? Two inches?

[Phoenix] - No Sal, we are going short. We are cutting most of it off. I want to look good, and I want the looks to match the talent; top notch.

[Barber] - Alright, here we go.

[The barber begins to cut his hair as the scenes fades to black. The scene comes back as we see Hayden Phoenix with a spanking new hair cut. He dusts himself off and approaches the camera]

[Phoenix] - I look like I feel now... a winner. Ha!

[Phoenix shakes his head at his own failure to be humorous]

[Phoenix] - At Independence Day, I am going to make a statement. I watched Ian's match against Matt Ward again to see what I am up against, and it seems like when he can go crazy he succeeds and is able to win the match. But our match is about remaining focused... it is about a one-on-one match. There are no weapons. There are rules in place. And this will allow me to gain the advantage. Ian will want to lean towards the extreme; he was engulfed in it last week and that is something that might be hard to come out of. He was ambushed, and that could make him wonder if they will come back and attack again to finish the job. Ian is at the disadvantage this week, and that is unfortunate. It is fortunate for me though. I have the opportunity to win my first match in LEGACY, the chance to work my way up the ranks to earn some gold, and the ability to make a name myself. I've been hearing some rumblings that my debut match is one of the more anticipated matches... and that is nothing but good news for me. I am able to show what I have to anyone watching, and hopefully the authority figures in LEGACY will take notice. I am not a pushover, nor am I some jobber. I came to LEGACY to rise the ranks in a blaze of glory, and one day LEGACY gold will be worn around my waist. I don't care what the name of the title is... it can be the LEGACY Heavyweight Champsionship, the LEGACY California Title, or it could even be the LEGACY brought to your by Johnson and Johnson's Baby Shampoo Now With Vitamin A 20% More Championship... I am here to earn gold, and gold shall be mine. This is a warning to the rest of the roster, my match against Ian Windermear will be the first of many wins for Hayden Phoenix, and I am not to be underestimated.
